First, I would like to say I was not asked or paid to post this review. The owner of the company…read moreand I are not friends; we have a business relationship only. There are so many reviews out there where friends are posting reviews of businesses to make the business look better, but this is an honest and professional review about B Picky Pools. I've never had better care for my pool. Brandon is conscientious about his work and genuinely cares about his clients. He is a perfectionist and knows what to do with any issues your pool may have. He keeps the chemicals at the proper level and communicates well if parts are needed or anything is not right. I've been using B Picky Pools for a couple of years after firing my last two incompetent companies. I've never had any problems, nor have I ever had a green or cloudy pool. Brandon keeps my pool sparkling year round. I really like him too, he's trustworthy and has a good personality. If I ever have a question orconcern he responds to me immediately. I gave him the key to my gate and he shows up every Tuesday as scheduled. Some pool companies are very unreliable, they change days or they just don't show up at all thinking you won't notice, but not Brandon. This is his company and it's grown since I met him because he cares very much about his clients and the quality of his work. I refer him to many of my friends and will continue to do so. Thanks for all of your hard work Brandon, even in the heat of the miserable Arizona summers when the temps are at 115 and higher. You're the best!!

I personally saw sexually explicit messages and nude photos sent by the female co-owner Summer to my then-partner, along with discussions about meeting up. When I brought this to her husband, who also serviced our pool weekly, he characterized her behavior as friendliness and declined to get involved. I recognize that my former partner was responsible for his own choices. However, I also expect professional boundaries from business owners providing services to our household. I would not hire this company.

I cannot imagine what happened with the old review from a few years ago. I have had David from…read moreInfinite Waters as our pool service professional for 2+ years and I do not have that experience. I met David at my local Leslie's pool supplies. He was talking with the manager of the store, helping a customer figure out problems with his pool. NOT his Customer, NOT asking to get a customer, just helping someone out with his knowledge. The store manager told me, if you ever decide to not do your pool yourself, call Dave, he's great, and he knows a ton about pool care. Well, that time came and I was tired of doing the pool myself and wasn't sure it was functioning as it should. I contacted David and we have had a gorgeous, healthy pool ever since. I have recommended him to friends and neighbors. He has been communicative and showed me ways to save money with filter exchanges. Big savings for me, a tiny bit more work for him. We both win. Maybe life was throwing curveballs when the previous review was left. Since 2 years ago, I assure you, you can not find a more honest, hard working pool service. Not to mention a good value. Our pool looks and functions great and we have spent no unnecessary dollars to maintain it. PS: Our dogs love him too! They know it's Friday and run to the pool deck to greet him every time!

To be honest: I can't say how good the pool service is. I can say that the owner, David, was almost…read moreimpossible to get a hold of (let alone get out to do the job). He did respond really fast to a request for a quote and told me that he could have the pool cleaned up by the weekend (it was a Monday). I was surprised! But he never came back that week. When I talked to him on the weekend, he apologized and said he'd have it handled the next week. I was out of town but when I came back, it wasn't done either. Long story short: I waited for him for 4 weeks and there always seemed to be something that came up (he got sick, he lost his phone, he had a death in the family, he needed to coordinate his schedule with someone else...). I don't know. I'm fine with delays and unforeseen events. I just asked him to keep me up to date about delays and he didn't do that. Given that nearly everyone has a pool in AZ and service is not too hard to find, I'd recommend going with someone who is a little more reliable and communicative. I found some other options pretty easily and am super happy with how fast they respond and follow up! Good luck and happy swimming!

We're close to just doing it ourselves for the price they charge for the mediocre service. Update: I did communicate that we were disappointed with the amount of time spent on our pool cleaning, which literally is 5 minutes, I took a video timing it actually. The owner defended his employee stating he has several pools to clean in one day. I don't expect perfection, but I expect more than a guy stopping over to drop chlorine tablets in fir the price paid. Our tech was a nice young man, very kind to our dogs and us. Too bad he has so many clients and wasn't able to provide more than 5 minutes of time on our pool. After posting this review, the owner emailed me terminating our service immediately. Hmmm...seems if he really cared, he would have called me to discuss. I wish our tech the best.

When I hired Dr. Aqua I made it clear that I was running a vacation rental. He also had plenty of time to look at all of my equipment. He told me that he would treat my pool with care. Dr. Aqua agreed to charge me a set monthly fee. The first month it was double the agreed upon rate, I paid it. The second month it was triple! Dr. Aqua decided to quit servicing me without properly notifying me. He left me pool green and disgusting. I would run from this guy, he rather scam you then make money and clean your pool. Below are the disgusting images of how he left my pool, in 20 years of owning our home I have never had a pool service this dishonest. Instead of owning up to leaving my pool disgusting and not charging me, he thinks threatening is a good approach. Luckly, I have a great pool guy now that is not dishonest and knows how to use the equipment provided to get a clean pool. Good luck Dr. GreenPool.
