Blue Ash Nails is a clean and peaceful location for manicures and pedicures. I have been using their services for as long as they've been in business. The location is convenient and easily accessible. There's plenty of parking and the equipment clean. There's plenty of color selection and options for polish style and pedicure style. The shop is up to date on current trends. You are not required to have an appointment but I often call ahead to check on wait time. I recommend calling ahead, then you are disappointed during busy times. Many customers have favorite nail techs. I typically don't schedule an appointment and have always been happy with my nail techs when I do "walk-in" service, they all talented. The techs are soft spoken, kind, and very courteous. They are talented, always trying to do their very best. The owners, Brandon annd Jamila, are super friendly, they work hard at knowing their customers, learning customer names and remembering personal details. They are delightful to be around. The prices are reasonable and very competitive for the area. Cash is preferred and there's a "no fee" ATM machine at the door. My husband and I walked into Blue Ash Nails at lunchtime on a Friday and were promptly met with a warm greeting and great service. Wendy and Tina were both very friendly and highly skilled. Wendy was able to take care of my very dry, horribly cracked heels with no issue or pain, and Tina trimmed my husband's uneven toenails with ease and a laugh at our jokes. The salon vibes are quiet and clean, and the selection of services and products is vast. I was easily able to upgrade to a Deluxe Pedicure with no issue. I am very picky about pedicures and Wendy is the best. Great with shape and polish. Only giving 3 stars tonight because I called ahead and was told I could come in at 7 for a pedicure (they close at 8) but the person the greeted me when I walked in (the owner maybe, she left before everyone else.) was very very rude. So rude that I almost left. They seemed very eager to close early. Hey blue ash nails, if you don't want to be open until 8, don't be! Post earlier closing hours. But don't post that you are open until 8, tell me I can come in at 7 when I call, and then treat me poorly for coming in during open hours. I was out of there by 7:35, well within your posted hours. Honestly my experience here was pretty subpar. It was nice of them to see me without an appointment but my nails were a mess and SO THICK! I asked for a dip manicure with an accent sparkle nail, just look at the pictures tbh. Also at one point she dipped the accent nail (after already dipping once in sparkle) in the plain dip and when I tried to correct her she said she knew what she was doing and I was left with a half sparkle half plain nail. Will not be back - the only good thing I can say is my dip lasted 2+ weeks. read more

I booked an appointment here on a whim yesterday since I hadn't had a pedicure since before the pandemic. Understandably, it was dead inside. I was one of two patrons. I felt like I got really good attention from my staff person. For the price, it was a good pedicure. Me and my girls went here and made an appointment the same day. Clean, friendly, good environment. I decided to go with ombré which is a little pricey but worth it. Taylor took care of me! And Uma took care of my two friends. I showed Uma a picture of what I wanted and she went above and beyond to test colors and make sure I was satisfied. Everyone in the store is nice and always talks to me when I am there! My nail tech is UMA and she always takes her time to make sure the job is done right and that I am satisfied. They were impatient with me for trying to figure out what I wanted for my nails. And the price was insanely high for nails that were very average; a few were lumpy and one was crooked. They services aren't great and I got my nails done 5 days ago and they are acrylic gel. They are already falling off and getting hair in them. They are streaky and see through. The manager was the one who did them. They don't offer refunds but don't post it anywhere. He started getting nasty with me and threatened to call cops. read more

I got my nails done for the first time here last Sunday. Not even a week went by and 4 of my nails chipped. I went back into the salon and they immediately seating me and fixed any nails that were broken or about to break for free. I'm rating them at 4/5 simply because it was inconvenient that they broke in the first place, but their customer service was great and they were quick to apologize that this happened. Frankly this is the worst set of SNS I've ever had and I get my nails done quite a bit. I went on a Sunday June 7th because it was my daughters birthday and because of the virus I didn't through her a party and she had been wanting to get SNS done but I never let her. Well my daughters nails turned out amazing. The lady who did hers did awesome with my daughters small fingers and they looked really good but I didn't get so lucky. My nails were not even I had to go buy a buffer and make them even. My biggest issue is that there is a gap between my real nail and the tip they put on. It like ever nail is like that and it horrible. Stuff gets down in between my nails and it gross and really unsanitary. I'm going to just take them off there barley hanging on anyways. So I guess it depends on who you get there. The girl who did mine seemed really nervous I even asked her if she knew how to do the nails because of how she was acting and how my nails were turning out. She replied something about doing acrylics, it was hard to understand her. I tried to get them fixed before I left and the person who did my daughters fixed one of them because it was really uneven and I was over sitting there any longer, my daughters has ADHD and I was surprised she sat there the 2 hours we were there. read more
