This makes my second visit to this location, and I have to say, just like the other BAC locations I have been to; it is worth it. The food as service here is very good. Today I had the special which was a 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwich and turkey chili, both were perfectly yummy. My son and I walked in and sat down at the counter because the place was packed. We were waited on in minutes and had our food quickly. He got a 6 way, which he left nothing on the plate and my plate and bowl were empty as well. Our water glasses never were left empty for more than a moment. I would highly recommend Blue Ash Chili to anyone that wants very good food and fast service. read more

Where do I even start? I ordered the classic cheeseburger thinking that it was going to be a delicious, filling meal. The disappointment started when I realized I was paying $10 for a burger and there were NO sides. Don't get me wrong, the burger tasted good, but it was small, basically a smash burger. I could've easily eaten 4 more, but didn't want to blow my whole week's paycheck on some burgers with NO sides. While paying for the meal up front, I noticed some York peppermint patties sitting on the counter, those are some of my favorite candies. I love the local chili parlors way more than skyline, mostly because it's a more family owned feel, but also because the local parlors are diners too! Blue Ash Chili is a fantastic diner serving up your typical coneys and 3-ways, but also diner fare like double decker sandwiches and greasy burgers with fries. One of my most favorite things to order here are the gravy fries: crinkle cut fries smothered in brown gravy and shredded cheddar. Omg so seriously good!! You truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I do want to mention that their homemade creamy cole slaw is insane! And their tartar sauce is amazing as well! But the sandwiches are big and awesome -my favorite is the BLT double decker which has a LOT of bacon-their ham and beef is great, too. Their French fries are crispy and good and so are their soups (potato is my favorite) I usually get pie if I still have room for it. It can be crowded at peak times. I had heard that Blue Ash Chili serves something called Chili Lasagna. Okay, so I like Cincinnati Chili and I like Lasagna. So, that thought of combining the two was intriguing. In the spirit of full disclosure, this review is specifically for the Chili Lasagna. Yesterday we were there and I ordered the Chili Lasagna. It was incredible. Fabulous taste. It had layers of lasagna noodles and sour creme (which I usually do not like) for the filing, but it worked out great in this dish.. In addition, it uses lots of Cincinnati Chili and shredded cheddar cheese. Now like classic lasagna, it does not stay in a "regular" slice, which is apparent from the picture. However, it is topped with lots of chili and cheese. It was a rather large serving and only costs $8.99. More than I could finish so I took some home. In addition it comes with 2 thick slices of garlic bread, although I would describe them more as Texas toast with garlic on the bread. The Lasagna was great and the garlic bread was an amazing addition. As good as it gets - hence the 5 stars for this item. Lasagna is one of those foods that sometimes is almost better the next day. The flavors have a chance to permeate the entire dish. Today, for lunch, I had the warmed up the left over Chili Lasagna. It was fantastic, only wish I had another piece of garlic bread, but I finished it all the other day. So, I may be in the minority here, but we found the chili bland (needed a lot of hot sauce) and the noodles were cooked too long... :( Skyline continues to have our vote for the best Cincinnati chili. That being said, they have a lot more variety of items to choose from, including burgers, sandwiches, etc. they also have a chili lasagna that seemed interesting. This was my first visit to this location. I've been to the Blue Ash location many times over the years, although we haven't been in about five years. We ended up at this location by circumstance since the place we intended to eat had a remodeling closure note on the door. It was busy, just as the Blue Ash location always is, and we had to wait several minutes to be seated. Our order was taken promptly after being seated and came out fairly quickly. My husband ordered the 5-Way and I ordered the Classic Gyro. We ordered Onion Rings to share. All the food was good and what you'd expect for a quick diner style lunch. Gotta love Blue ash Chili! I live near the Mason location, but was in the area to try this Tri-County location. I cam in here for a quick bite before an event, and knew I would be served quickly and accurately. I wanted to order the chili so bad, but I went with their HUGE double decker with turkey and bacon. SOOOO good and the bacon there is extra crispy, which I love. They pile on the turkey too, and everything tastes to fresh. My glass was never empty and everyone there working takes care of everyone, if they see an empty drink they ask if you need a refill regardless if they have you as their table. OK, this will probably go down as my one of my all-time favorite places that I've eaten. We were visiting my daughter in Cincinnati and she highly recommended us have lunch at this place. Believe me it's way more than chili. Speaking of, they did come to our table and bring a sample of the chili for us to try. Although, I was not crazy about the chili just not my style. I chose to have one of the double Dekker sandwiches ham and turkey with fries. It was absolutely crazy, huge sandwich the crispy's fries I've ever eaten it was absolutely delicious. I could only eat half the sandwich so we took the rest home with us. My daughter had a meatloaf and mashed potatoes, my other daughter had the chicken strips and fries. We took enough chicken strips home with us to have a whole Other meal and they were so good. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were home cooked fresh absolutely perfect. The service was outstanding, so our waitress was so sweet so attentive. There were people standing outside in line waiting to get in, but we only had to wait a few minutes they were moving people pretty fast in an out. My initial thought was this is just another Skyline knock off, was I pleasantly surprised! The Menu had offerings from soup, sandwiches to entrees like Mom's Meatloaf. I had the Mom's and was it a great choice! On my second visit, I tried the chili - and the third time a piled high sandwich with soup. An oversized Veggie Omelet with hash brown and toast. If that doesn't fill you up and leave you satisfied you need to check in with your Dr. and the eggs in the omelet were real eggs, not the pancake batter filled omelets from the big local chain. And the veggies were fresh and grilled right in front of me. My wife had a burger and fries. The fries serving is definitely big enough to share and the burger was perfect. It's large and tastee. You will leave the place stuffed and happy. They also make omelets, and they definitely deserve and award for it. Usually restaurants tend to burn them up, but BAC gets them fluffy and if you ask they grill the veggies before putting them inside. The atmosphere is very nice BAC is a cute, upbeat dinner that has keep up with time. Employees are super helpful and happy to recommend things from the menu. I'm giving it 4 stars because I'm slightly disappointed that they don't serve breakfast during primetime breakfast hours 11-1 (they serve it all day, why stop during that time?)
