My second plate! So YUMMY!
Lisa V.

Set your alarm! This place was worth getting up early for. I was born and raised here on Oahu but now I live in California. Here visiting, I was craving some Ono food. Found this place and it did not disappoint. Every last bite was amazing! The staff were friendly. Great customer service. Had to come back the next morning too, it's that good! Thank you for all the Ono Food Blossom's Okazuya!

I finally got up early enough to get to Blossoms before they sold out of everything. It's on my daily walk route while I'm here on holiday. I got here at 7:28am and there were 8 people in front of me. The other day I got here around 9am and all they had left was spam musubi and Cone sushi. Update: they had maki rolls with tuna or fake crab. Ended up leaving with Cone sushi and spam musubi. They only make a certain amount of everything and sell out early. The rush to get there is a bit frustrating but when in Rome......

Just about $20 but sooo Ono

Customer Service was a 10 plus and the food as well. Upon entering, the staff greeted you with a good morning, and it was a sincere greeting. Nothing fake going on. The selection was fresh and plentiful and soo Ono. The only thing was that the batter to shrimp ratio was too much, but still Ono. Just go and go early and get one of each...

Enough for breakfast and lunch!

My childhood is disappearing as Okazuya close with the generations who gave them life. I love me a good bento and I happened upon Blossom's one day while out on the Windward side for work .. and I was too late! There was nothing left but one box of Kalua pig and cabbage with rice. *sadface* The next time I was out there I went to Blossom's BEFORE I started my task and this was the move! I got: - cone sushi - long rice - the last shrimp tempura - sweet potato tempura - garlic chicken HoBruh. 8 year old me on a field trip was screaming! I think it was $18 or $19 with tip (pay by piece) but the plate was so full it was breakfast AND lunch

In the heart of Enchanted Lakes Oahu you'll find Blossom's Okazuya a Family business that's been around for awhile. I'll drive from Kaneohe early in the morning just to get my fix of ono Okazuya. There's lots of parking and a line to enter. My advice to you is to call in advance to place your order, then drive there to pick it up. You'll still need to stand in the line when you get there but at least you'll know that you're going to get what you want. Don't forget to ask for specials, sometimes they'll have smoke meat. Did I mention that they have a friendly staff? Stop in to get some ono Okazuya!

Partial order Korean chicken, some never make it home
Steve T.

Well I can't honestly fully review since I only managed to get 1 order of Korean chicken. Everything else sadly was sold out by the time I for there (just after 10am). We all know okazuyas here you gotta go early and they close when sold out. This is no joke probably the 5 or 6th attempt lol. Few times I went 9am etc and either closed that day, closed for catering or already sold out. Yes you could call in the morning and order but with me I like to look at everything for 30mins before ordering (lol not really), but I do like to see sometimes when you see something in person you're like oooooohh I want that. So only had kalua pig and Korean chicken left. Nothing else no sushi etc. Korean chicken was good, still had crispy skin even though had Korean sweet shoyu sauce all over. Some parts little dry and tough but there's days that's what I like and it's better than the red raw inside chickens I'll he back again to get more and my Maki rolls!

Sesame chicken, fried chicken, chow fun and California sushi

5 stars for the Korean Chicken! Blossom's Okazuya have been here for years but I'm not always able to go here on the weekdays unless I'm off or on an early Saturday morning. Twice I drove my mom to get her blood test at Diagnostic lab and I always make my trip worthwhile especially in the morning to get pastries /breads at Nene Goose Bakery or Blossom's Okazuya. Blossoms have maki sushi, spam musubis , fried chicken, noodles, and all kinds of Okazuya items. For years they were known for their sesame chicken and not many places make them. Lately I find the flavor too strong for my taste buds, but I just love the Korean chicken and that's what I come for now. They get sold out fast, (can be by 9am!) but the last two times I was able to get two side orders. It's pre made but yet it was still crunchy for a long time! I was amazed how light and crispy they were and the taste was spot on. Many places serve Korean chicken and their sauce varies from place to place but this one is one of the better one! The chicken skin so crispy! I think I can say it is my favorite Korean chicken! If you ever on the Windward side in the Enchanted Lake area of Kailua, you will can check out Blossom's Okazuya for their food and "ono" Korean chicken :) Thanks for reading my review! =)

Long rice and cucumber crab maki
Michelle N.

3.5 stars By the time we got there only had a few items left (chow fun, long rice, Inari sushi, cucumber crab maki, pork tofu) I decided to get the long rice and the last cucumber crab maki. Long rice was pretty tasty and so was the cucumber crab maki but the filling was on the small size. Will stop by again one day when it's earlier to get more selection. Cashier was friendly !

I noticed this little spot mostly bc of the line always out front when the Kailua market was located here. I was always curious but too loaded down w food from the market to try it. This morning coming back from seeing the sun rise (btw. That's a must) I remembered this place and thought I'd finally stop by on my way home. Omg. So good. Now candidly it's still very early AM and haven't had brekkie but I d sampled everything but the musubi but based on my sampling of the sesame chicken and the weight of the musubi (from the overly generous piece of chicken. Not from the rice) I KNOW it's going to be over the top. This is a sweet little unassuming spot and I hope it never changes. The food is delicious and the people are kind and sweet.

Ono old style okazu ! Everything was made well from the pork & squash soup - to the hot dog & chicken bento! Both the potato and vegetable tempura was so good and it took me back to my childhood. Go early - only one person/family allowed in at a time - great selections. Korean chicken - sweet and crispy Tempura potato - purple potato so goo Vegetable tempura - green beans carrots onions so good - got to get two next time! Fried chicken hot dog bento - perfect Squash pork soup delish Potato hash - so good Go early - lots of parking and yummy good

Miso pork, chow fun, Korean style chicken
Ally L.

So delicious!! Little spot on the east side of the island. I would suggest going early because they sell out pretty quick. When I arrived, we only saw a few dishes left. We opted for miso pork, chow fun and Korean style chicken. All were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor!

Interesting The sign says "tasty korean barbecue" , but it doesn't have the number 3. The storefront looks like any typical korean barbecue restaurant. The inside is air conditioned And just looks like a typical L&L restaurant with the usual diner type, chair and tables.(pic) The staff was not friendly or hostile, just served you and that was good enough. The menu was your typical korean barbecue menu (pic) with meet jun..kalbi..bbq chicken etc and korean vegetables.... I like that they had breaded zucchini and shredded takewon as a choice. You can tell when the meet jun is a winner when you don't need the sauce and it still tastes good. Meet jun was on the crispy side and it just worked. The prices we're manageable and the portions were generous....(pic) and it seemed to be a pretty popular local takeout choice. The restaurant looks pretty generic. How lucky was that!? This "minor misfortune" of the long line resulted in my sampling an extraordinary Bahn Mi sandwich. I'll keep this short, and simply share that the lemongrass chicken version of their Bahn, was, as the kids say these days, "FIRE!" . I'm embarrassed to say that I only discovered Bahn mi sandwiches about 3 years ago, but have loved them ever since. The overall experience of chomping down on a typical Bahn mi is that the combination of textures that come from the marriage of "crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside" bread, and the soft flavorful meats and crunchy vegetables is pleasurable. But toss in the flavors that range from savory to tangy to sweet, and then off to spicy, are pretty-much as close to the definition of what a harmonious and complementary meal, that excites the tastebuds, should be. I've probably had 30 of them in my life, and I would say, Saigon Noodle puts one together that just moved into my personal favorite for this blended cultures sandwich. The owner served me, and he's one of those guys who you instantly like. It's hard to put words together to describe why he was so likable and pleasant, but on my visit, his "A-game" of friendliness and charm was on. But, even if he had a "Bahn Mi Nazi" personality, I'd still go for the sam-ich. It was really good!!
