Bowl- spicy ahi, teriyaki chicken, kalbi

Bomb! Now I know why the lava bowl is one of their most popular menu items. Good flavor, good price and just can't be beat!

Very fast service and very flavorful. Chicken was moist and tender. A great place for a quick filling lunch A great find in this area.

Damn good sushi sets. The spicy Ahi is winnahs and portions are pretty good size. All fresh and local made.

This walk up sushi place was a find!!! Great fresh tasting sushi!! I loved the spicy pack and the Lava pack!!!! They are 10/10!!! I would recommend you stop by and try them out!! They even made the Cali pack spicy for my daughter! And they looked so good I had to steal one! The Salomon was ok but not my fav. But still good. I think my favorite surprise was they had bread pudding so of course I got it to try it out. Omg it was sooo good, I heated it up for like 15secs and I think I could have licked the plate clean. I will be stopping by again when I am in Kaneohe! I didn't get picks because my fav was so hungry when I got home they dove in before I was done bringing stuff in from the car.

I was in the Kaneohe area and wanted lunch so I seen this place on Yelp. Thank goodness I did because I loved it! Their sign is not that big so it would be a little hard to see it from the main road as you drive. They are located on the main road right next to flyin ahi. I got their lava roll. It had tempura inside and spicy ahi on the top with sweet chili sauce on the top. It was super good. I loved how well everything mixed. I also love how they have only FRESH ahi, even better!!! I love how they cut it into small cubes rather than huge cubes. My bf got their lava bowl which had 5 choices! Yum! He got 2 choice poke, kalua pig, bbq chicken and tempura. It was super good. They cooked the food to perfection and everything was on point. The service was good. The workers were super friendly. Definitely going back and trying more of their options

Big braddah (5 choices) smoke meat, kal bi, poke, unagi and salmon. $1 add-on shrimp tempura.

So awesome their bread pudding!!!!!! I came straight from town to buy them for myself and ended up buying more for family and coworkers. One of the owners is a high school friend with my former professor at the college nearby. He was so generous to tell me about their sweet potato pie and let me try it!!! Love the friendliness and generosity... I'll be sure to return!!! Thank you!!!

Pretty good poke for a reasonable price! It's very fresh, not much flavor outside of the fish so make sure you dress it up if that's what you're looking for. Combo includes a drink which was great!

Wanted to try something new that I haven't had before and support local businesses while I'm in the area. They were one out of two places I wanted to check out. The pros. Lots of parking and there is a little window to order your food from. Perfect for me since I had my dog with me. The cons. Pricing was high compared to what was offered. I got a combo box and deluxe burger which was a little under $30 for both. The fish quality I could tell was previously frozen fish. However, I'm glad I got a combo box of a little bit of everything cause I really do not think I could eat more than 1 piece of the smoked salmon sushi. Everything else was tolerable.

Walk up window only, no drive through or dining room- no problem at all but good to know! This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. I ordered the lava poke bowl along with the sweet potato pie and WOW. If I were local I would be eating here all the time. Price can't be beat for fresh tuna. Others in my party got the lava sushi roll and loved it too. The crispy shrimp along with the tuna was a perfect combo! I will make sure to come again when I'm back in the area.

Local Boy Sushi is hands down our favorite spot for sushi on the Windward side! Every time we visit, the quality is fresh and perfectly prepared. Their rolls and poke are always flavorful, and you can really taste the difference in the ingredients they use. Beyond the amazing food, the customer service is top-notch. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and quick to take care of us. Whether we're grabbing a quick bite or picking up a platter for a gathering, they never disappoint. If you're looking for delicious, high-quality sushi with great service, this is the place to go. We also had their catering and all our guest LOVED the sashimi! So grateful for this amazing business!

I want to give a special shout out to Debbie, the manager. When we arrived, she was helping the hostess seat guests and immediately stood out for being so welcoming, warm, and professional. She greeted everyone with a genuine smile and made us feel comfortable right away. About six months ago my husband had a pretty bad experience here -- the greeting at the door felt very cold and unwelcoming. Because of that, we were a little hesitant to return. But Debbie completely changed that impression. Her attitude and leadership really set a positive tone for the whole restaurant. Great customer service like that makes a big difference. So of course, I was in the area and I am a biiiig ramen lover, I had to try this location. I've tried an abundant of ramen from Noods, but my go-to is their vegan ramens because they have so many options and I could use a little vegan meal in my life every now and then (because of my acne). The ambiance may not be a restaurant, but it's ramen, you can't be asking for much, just good food and good place to enjoy. Since this location is in a food court, it's gotta have fast service, which it did. Service is also a lot more simple than the restaurant because over here you order in one area and then you have to pick it up at the other end when it's ready. The food court provides ample seating, but I suggest grabbing a seat first before ordering so that you get a table near the ramen bar and you don't have to walk far with a large bowl of ramen across a busy food court. Overall, the ramen(s) I've eaten here have lived up to the standard I expect from Noods, which is great. This means you don't have to go all the way to Kaimuki to get some good, quality ramen.
