Great little grab and go sushi place which is also great for pot luck or party platters. No seating is available inside for consuming your purchases just a small area while waiting for the order to be completed. Well made Maki sushi rolls, the bento boxes are great for a quick lunch at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended and have never been disappointed with the quality of food from this location over the many years of frequenting this location.

The food is always fresh and very ono! Service is always fast and friendly! Kozo never disappoints with these spicy ahi poke bowls. Keep up the great work, food and service!!!

Solid place to get sushi! Staff is friendly, nice kind service, and fresh tasting sushi quality. Each item is made to order by a sushi chef in the back! Quality is better than your standard grocery store, and about the same/slightly less in pure fresh quality as a high cost sushi restaurant. Price range is very inexpensive--reasonable given the style of ordering and experience! As in, all orders are TO GO as this is not a restaurant/sit down shop. All of us enjoyed our orders, and they even had vegan/vegetarian options for me! Yay!

Is it me or are all kozos a little different? In my opinion their spicy ahi bowl at the Kaneohe location smacks!Kozos has been here as long as I can remember and I really do hope they stay that way.

I'm giving a 4 star for the efficiency, friendliness and price of food you get. It's not some fancy sushi place like going to a private omakase chef curated meal at Suntory but if you are hungry it will satisfy you. I come here when I'm pressed between appointments and need a quick lunch that isn't deep fried.

We've been coming here for years and will always stop by when in the area. My go to is their spicy ahi bowl. Good and service is good!

What happened to the circumference of the temaki ? Inflation !

I used to work for the Mo'ili'ili Kozo location in the 90's & their temaki circumference was normal, not like the temaki that I have in these pics. Kozo's prices & quality are still unbeatable though. Their sushi rice still tastes the best too. No matter what, we still love Kozo Sushi !

This location is always consistent. The lady at the cash register is very polite and always makes sure that my order is correct. You can call to order ahead for pickup, but they are fast so you can just go there and order and it will be ready in 5-10min. Their fish is a decent quality for the price. I got the spicy ahi roll and the spicy ahi gunkan. It was my first time trying the roll as I normally just get the gunkan. It was the same thing, but the roll has sprouts inside it. It was okay, but the spiritus gave it a weird flavor that did not pair well with he spicy ahi. Next time I will order the roll without the sprouts inside or just get the spicy ahi gunkan. There are also other sushi sets which are extremely reasonable in price. The store is small and can only hold about 2-3 people at a time so you may have to wait outside for a little bit. They require masks while ordering and picking up in the store (it's their store policy). If you forget, they give you one to use.

Super good poke bowl, still day dreaming about it. I came here with my boyfriend who grew up on this side of the island (I lived in Kapolei and was perfectly fine with my Foodland poke bowls). Surprised to find that I fell in love with the poke bowl here and it's now my new favorite poke spot. Super nice servers. The inside is small, not a spot where you would sit and eat. Meant to pick it up and go. Can't wait to come back in the future!

The shrimp & vegetable tempura has a nice light and crispy batter and they give quite a lot of veggies with two big pieces of shrimp! It was somewhat busy, with a few people waiting for their orders, but my family and I decided to dine in. We ordered the Crunchy Maki, Spam Maki, and the Spicy Ahi Salad. The Crunchy Maki had cucumber, imitation crab, seaweed, and shrimp tempura, all coated with crunchy tenkasu for a nice texture. This was topped off with Unagi sauce. Yum! The Spam Maki was simple but satisfying with spam and seaweed. Also topped using Unagi sauce. The Spicy Ahi Salad came with spring mix and wonton chips topped with spicy ahi, along with two sauces on the side (wasabi mayo and sweet chili), which added good flavor. The food has remained consistent over the years, although the portion sizes seem to have gotten a bit smaller, particularly the salad. The restaurant itself is spacious with about 12 tables available for dining in. They also offer a good selection of bottled drinks and fountain drinks. The menu has a nice variety of sushi, udon, donburi, and salads, so there's something for everyone. One thing we appreciate about this location is that it's always kept very clean. Service is usually quick as well, as long as you avoid the peak rush times. Overall, it's a reliable spot for a quick sushi meal when you're at Windward Mall.
