The food is always fresh and very ono! Service is always fast and friendly! Kozo never disappoints with these spicy ahi poke bowls. Keep up the great work, food and service!!!

Solid place to get sushi! Staff is friendly, nice kind service, and fresh tasting sushi quality. Each item is made to order by a sushi chef in the back! Quality is better than your standard grocery store, and about the same/slightly less in pure fresh quality as a high cost sushi restaurant. Price range is very inexpensive--reasonable given the style of ordering and experience! As in, all orders are TO GO as this is not a restaurant/sit down shop. All of us enjoyed our orders, and they even had vegan/vegetarian options for me! Yay!

Is it me or are all kozos a little different? In my opinion their spicy ahi bowl at the Kaneohe location smacks!Kozos has been here as long as I can remember and I really do hope they stay that way.

I'm giving a 4 star for the efficiency, friendliness and price of food you get. It's not some fancy sushi place like going to a private omakase chef curated meal at Suntory but if you are hungry it will satisfy you. I come here when I'm pressed between appointments and need a quick lunch that isn't deep fried.

What happened to the circumference of the temaki ? Inflation !

I used to work for the Mo'ili'ili Kozo location in the 90's & their temaki circumference was normal, not like the temaki that I have in these pics. Kozo's prices & quality are still unbeatable though. Their sushi rice still tastes the best too. No matter what, we still love Kozo Sushi !

We've been coming here for years and will always stop by when in the area. My go to is their spicy ahi bowl. Good and service is good!

Spicy Ahi Roll (left) and spicy ahi gunkan (right)

This location is always consistent. The lady at the cash register is very polite and always makes sure that my order is correct. You can call to order ahead for pickup, but they are fast so you can just go there and order and it will be ready in 5-10min. Their fish is a decent quality for the price. I got the spicy ahi roll and the spicy ahi gunkan. It was my first time trying the roll as I normally just get the gunkan. It was the same thing, but the roll has sprouts inside it. It was okay, but the spiritus gave it a weird flavor that did not pair well with he spicy ahi. Next time I will order the roll without the sprouts inside or just get the spicy ahi gunkan. There are also other sushi sets which are extremely reasonable in price. The store is small and can only hold about 2-3 people at a time so you may have to wait outside for a little bit. They require masks while ordering and picking up in the store (it's their store policy). If you forget, they give you one to use.

    Hibiscus platter and futomaki roll

Close to the Foodland entrance, this small sushi take out packs big taste. Lots of items to choose from and it didn't take that long for them to make a fresh Hibiscus Platter and futomaki roll. I hope the staff at Holy Family likes it! Thank you for the sitting bench while I watched the kitchen crew and waited on my order. The hand roll was perfect by the way. Genius whom ever came up with the wrapping that keeps the nori crisp :)

The shrimp & vegetable tempura has a nice light and crispy batter and they give quite a lot of veggies with two big pieces of shrimp! I definitely recommend this spot if you're craving Japanese food!
