Came to this Bloomingdales in Willowbrook to look for sunglasses. The investors wasn't too big. Only few luxury brands limited sunglasses. So explored a few. The associate was friendly and helped us with trying different ones, as they were all locked. They didn't have any of the D&G ones. We didn't find anything we liked. We walked little bit around the store. It was very clean and tidy. They had good apparel collections. Most were high end brands, so prices were expensive too. Lots of associates were available throughout the store. They did a wonderful job of integrating modern designs and bright lighting all over. As a group of teens 14-15, Me and 3 others walked into the store in search for dresses for graduation and confirmation. As Me and my friend who both was wearing respectful clothing, after a while of searching for dresses, after we realized that we couldn't find anything, we began to meet up with the other two people that we were with and finally came to the conclusion of we couldn't find anything. We decided to check the lower floor, after a few minutes there wasn't really anything that was quite suitable. This was the first time in store so didn't know what exactly was on each floor. We go up to the third start to realize that we're being followed by a man who works there obviously, we weren't doing anything wrong. We were not wearing anything vulgar or any such and the second we stepped onto the third floor we were told that we have to get out of the store completely. If it was a respectful "you guys have no reason to be here." But no, we got blatantly screamed at by the man and we weren't even doing anything so there is no reason to tell us where we go in a fully openly to the public store. On of our friends asked "what do we do?" and we got told "you know what you did and get out of the store" we didn't do anything. horrible customer service. I personally believe that it was because we were a group of teenagers, and teenagers are widely discriminated against in higher end stores and will always and forever be held to a standard that they're there to steal and mess up places.... I just had an encounter with a super liberal woman on the 2nd floor women's department, that refused to look at me n help me. All because I had a FREEDOM tee shirt on! left her department letting her no how rude n disrespectful she was n she finally replied with ur welcome, still looking down no eye contact what so ever from the beginning! then I really had a few words for her as we exited her department n went downstairs to the men's department n low n behold she was downstairs before us, im guessing crying like liberals do about me to the security. I approached him n asked him "was she just complaining about me?" while he was on the cb I guest calling for more security n he asked me what happened n I told him what happened n then I asked him would u like us to leave the store n he said yes. So of course leaving the store, I did let everyone no how I felt! being a regular bloomingdales customer (not at that store) I thought the experience was very realistic about the division we are faced with because of our values n political choices. This particular Bloomingdale's which in my opinion can't afford to lose customers as the store barely has inventory n it's like shopping at a morgue. yikes. the downstairs staff is so friendly, but the moment you go up the escalator and to the top floor all hell breaks loose. the employees are hostile and reluctant to provide any kind of service. they watch you like a hawk and even have security ready to apprehend you at a moments notice. I went with my friend who works at a quarry and he was inspecting a countertop that was on display, meanwhile i smelled the candles. my friend wanted to know if the slab of stone came from the quarry he works at. notice how nobody was doing anything wrong. one of the workers comes up to us, asks us what we're doing, and promptly tells us to leave. if you like shitty service and hostile environments, this is the place for you, if you're normal, stay the fuck away. read more

The Bloomingdale's sales people really know their merchandise line very well. Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Victoria. She was absolutely wonderful helping me find clothes that would work with my body type. Best of all, several of the items were on sale too :) Since Internet sales have taken over, I think the retail stores have really upped their in-house customer service like "way back in the day". This Bloomingdale's has been totally refurbished to make it more inviting for their customers. Parking is plentiful in this Bloomingdale's location. read more

This is a beautiful store. They have gradually renovated each department. Today they had DJ's playing music on each floor. We ran into a lady giving out free homemade cookies. She had different kinds, cookies and cream, red velvet, oatmeal, chocolate chip. So nice of Bloomingdales to offer. We said we just ate and she packed them in a napkin for us to take home!! The sale prices are great. They have more than enough sales people on the floor to assist. The poor women working in the fitting rooms were hard at work keeping everything straightened up. The second floor has a ladies lounge that is renovated and clean. You are not pressured to buy. It feels relaxed and comfortable in this store. read more

This Bloomingdale's is off the beaten track but I love this one particularly because it is convenient to get to, it's never super crowded and the people who work there are very nice. I always find close parking right outside the men's department and the sales racks here always have a hidden gem ... this was key during my Juicy Couture velour tracksuit phase!!!! The shoe department is actually pretty large and has a great selection. The downside is that this location is not as upscale as the Manhattan location so you won't be able to get the couture designer brands here. read more

So, I decided to stop at Bloomingdale's in the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, NJ as I needed a black polo for later in the day. I arrived at 10:15 am and proceeded to the men's department. I was looking for a generic polo, no polo pony or alligator logos. To my dismay, I could not find one but that was not the issue. What was worse is that there was no sales person in sight!!! I traversed the expense of human emptiness only to find one, lone person intently searching for an item off a list she was carrying....I asked for her assistance and was met with a raised finger, no eye contact and a voice telling me to wait one moment... I smiled, stated my apologies for interrupting her on her quest and promptly exited the store, crossed the parking lot and into Nordstrom's Rack where I was greeted with a happy salutation, an offer to assist and guided to options that suited my need. Five minute later, I had my garment, was professionally and warmly taken care of and on my way....... Do yourself a favor...... avoid Bloomingdales and the frustration of a giant department store with very few people to assist. If you value your time, there are many better option in the area with more staff and better brands to choose from... read more

On line pick up is a waste of time. They left me a message to pick things up by a certain day and I lost an hour of my unsuccessfully trying to get it. You can't call Bloomingdale's in person to complain so you might as well go onto social media to do so indirectly. read more

You may want to call this a 'petite' Bloomingdale's. It doesn't appear to have the inventory of clothing as, let's say, Short Hills or Hackensack. Nevertheless, this Bloomingdales was just renovated and the facelift is exactly what the store needed. The service is definitely Bloomingdale's-worthy. The prices sometimes jump out at you, but when you get their credit card, you'll be updated on sales, events, and even Macy's-style coupons. It's a 3 1/2-4 star shopping experience if you're in the market for clothing, jewelry, shoes, fragrances, or home goods. read more

The Willowbrook staff and Sales associates are talented, knowledgeable and well trained. I receive the best Customer Service and this is my favorite store in NJ. You can always find the best selection of items and great sales, events and promotions going on. Also, I have received a great Customer experience and have dealt with the store manager Susan and the management staff many times. My experience today was such a joke. The cashier Dawn in jewerly was too busy looking to shop for herself instead of helping us. My friend was trying to purchase a bracelet and these clueless "professionals" couldn't find how much to charge her. REALLY? It took an outside vendor from Alex & Ani to find it who is not even employed by Bloomingdales. Originally she was told she had to wait for the mgr. Sabrina to call her the next day. This Bloomingdales location is alright and currently undergoing renovation, but a sales associate named Cole in the Women's Apparel department is absolutely amazing and such a sweet, polite individual to work with. He always makes shopping a wonderful and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Similarly, upstairs at the B-Cafe, the ladies are usually so pleasant and polite and the famous frozen yogurt is always delicious. The Willowbrook Bloomingdale's is great. It's the one store that keeps bringing me back to Willowbrook Mall. It may not be as big or as fancy as some of the other Bloomingdale's stores in the area, but I think there's less foot traffic, leaving you with a cleaner, neater, well-stocked shopping experience. The employees are also extremely friendly & helpful. Park outside the Men's Department to avoid the mall crowd & have easy access to the store. Avoid the dress section, because I can't seem to walk through there without buying something beautiful to add to my collection. Being generous by giving 2 stars. Got uggs in wrong size went to exchange them and no one wanted to help me. After 20 min someone assisted me only to tell me I was in the wrong department. After going to the rite department no one wanted to help me there either. Ten minutes later I get a sales persons attention who was very nice he informs me they don't have the rite size so I tell him I'll do a return. He does the return and opens the register to find no money in the register. We go 3 floors up to get cash and the lady informs me that the computer states I already returned the item. I had to wait a whole 40 min for the man who first assisted me to come back to the 3rd floor and be refunded. read more

This review is for the Bobbi Brown counter only. I was just looking at the blushes & this pushy sales associate (Monica I believe her name is) starts talking to me. If pointing out the customer's faults is her way of selling, she needs to be retrained. First, she pointed out how I didn't have my lips outlined; my fault for not piling on 20 pounds of makeup only to go to a mall. Second, she made a face & gasped at my eyebrows. I only got over the flu & getting my eyebrows done was not my priority; my bad for not getting them done while I had a fever of over 100 & didn't have the energy to drag myself out of bed to even go to the kitchen, shame on me. I bought a dress for a big formal event and commented to the employee helping me that I thought the zipper was temperamental. She said - "Oh, they're all like that". I loved the dress and aside from the zipper sticking a little I made the mistake of buying it. The next night when I had the event, the zipper would not move up or down and eventually all the teeth fell apart and I couldn't wear the dress. Ok - so even though I was upset, I understand that these things happen. The way in which they handled the situation was horrendous!! I brought the dress back the following day for an exchange and was treated horribly. I had no attitude at all and kept calm and simply stated what happened. They said I could get a refund or order a new dress or fix this one. I wanted to use the dress again for another event the following week so fixing it was the fastest option. The alteration employee was rude and insinuated that either I was too fat (I am a size 2 in a size 4 dress) or that I didn't know how to work a zipper. She kept saying - "You have to pay for this" but clearly didn't understand English because they simply deducted the alteration fee from what I already paid. And she said it would take a week and if I wanted it sooner - I would have to pay more. Terrible terrible customer service! If I was nasty, I could almost understand her reaction. But I was nothing but nice and understanding. I will not go back there again. read more

This location has great customer service (if you pay by credit card, the sales people will address you by your last name and will walk from behind the sales counter to hand you your bagged items). It's clean (have you been to Macy's?) and if you can get there when a great sale is going on, you can find some really great deals and make out like a bandit. Never any problems here. read more

This Bloomingdale's had nice selection of clothes, shoes and other things. I liked that it was clean, and neat. Sales people were nice and helpful, nobody was trying to attack you into buying things or sniffing the perfumes you don't like. Like all the Bloomingdale's it's not cheap but when they have a good sale you can get things for a really good price. Went to the Tom Ford counter just to take a look, as I've never really shopped at Tom Ford before (not that i care too , but its a free country and Ill go where TF i please!) Anyways...this rude and pretentious guy at the counter named Giuseppe came out and basically told me and my friend that we were too poor to shop there. He looked at our NYX bags and questioned why we would ever shop at NYX and that no one who shops at Bloomingdales would or SHOULD be shopping at NYX. He was a 100% douche bag. ALSO he basically said that if you don't live in Bergen County then your poor. I told him i live in Bergen County (which i do - Cliffside Park to be exact - a middle class neighborhood) not that it f****** matters because even if I came from Newark (which i do) that has nothing to do with whether i can afford to shop at Bloomingdales. My friend was so upset about the way he treated us she said something to him he gave a insincere apology and I told him he could take his apology and shove it where the sun don't shine. They have really pulled back on incentives and it's disappointing. Around the holidays when you spend 100 on certain days you get 25.00 back. Used to be automatic and can use right away. Now you have to wait 60 days which means can't apply to holiday shopping. Also purchased a gift, a small ted baker wallet and they tried to give us a box for a large handbag. Sloppy. People are holiday shopping. Have the right size box when you are spending ~150.00 for a wallet. They ultimately found an appropriate box but were less than gracious about it. read more

I have found great sales at Bloomies Wayne. The sales people like Iliya in jewelry and Anotonio in shoes are very knowledgeable about their products and very professional. I think the events at the store are very useful and fun. The rehab on this older store gives a bright fresh look that makes everything look wonderful, and makes you want to own it all. I never have to wait too long for a sales person, but some areas are staffed better than others. Overall the sales and the really great sales people make it a must stop first location. I want more sales events at Wayne, and I find more events at short hills which is nice as well. read more

I have been a Bloomingdales customer for many years and have had no issues until recently. Back in December I made a payment of $2161 to my account and have been arguing with Bloomingdsles ever since to have my account credited for the amount. I made my 8th phone call to customer service this evening and was told that the payment is still being researched and that it could take another two months for the credit to my account to actually occur. In the meantime they are charging me interest and had already charged me a late fee. The best is when I asked the customer service rep for the billing departments number they said they don't have a number only a fax number. I am really getting pissed and am ready to cancel my account. So shoppers beware of a Bloomingdales account!!!!!!! read more
