She replied "I just got here, I don't know" and continued ringing up another customer. That's mind of odd customer service. You can reply, "I'm not sure, but let me find out for you & ask another employee". But that level of service is unacceptable. I eventually found them, right by the cashier, actually. And when I was in line, another employee walked up & told us about a "Card only self- checkout" kiosk. Otherwise the store is well kept, they have a lot of variety of things & tons of parking. Do note that the prices go way about $5 now, so it's not really "5 Below", it should be "$5 and Above"

Over the counter medicine is great here and their razor blades for shaving is a great bargain. Dollar General really is not a " Dollar " store at all. It's like a.... I think that is wrong and I never go shopping on those days because I believe it's time to be with family so I do not support that. The prices are reasonable and they have a decent selection of items including clothing, food, medication, cigarettes, etc... pretty much anything you might need in a pinch.
