This supermarket has everything you'd expect from a supermarket except better! I'll give them 4 out of 5 stars because they can improve on sustainable products and I'm disappointed that the hot food is no longer 1/2 price after 7. The grocery store is always kept clean and the employees are always efficient and courteous. The help desk is very helpful when it comes to returns and may special order items that they no longer carry if they are available. They have a huge fresh fish section where you can select exactly what you want or can chose from prepared dishes or frozen food. The butcher has top quality meets with grass fed options. Of course the have precut options or you can ask the bitches to cut exactly what you want. The deli has a large selection or meats including boarshead and and Italian meats that you may not find elsewhere. Their side dishes are delicious as well, I usually go for the rotelli salad or the red skin potato salad. The have a large selection of prepared hot food. You can go to the buffet to customize your meal. The have a section where food is prepared daily by a chef if you want a top notch meal or you can select a freshly prepared meal that has already been prepackaged. You can also use them for catering as well if you are having a party. There is a sushi station where the sushi is comparable to some of the best sushi/Japanese restaurants around and you can even have your sushi freshly rolled. I go for the 3 for 2 because I can't turn down a good deal. The bakery has a very large selection of freshly made breads and deserts. They also have a great selection of flowers at a very reasonable price. You can also find a selection of toiletries, home and automotive goods, and most anything else you would expect a supermarket to have. Get yourself a membership so you can take advantage of the deals. Get yourself a reusable grocery bag while your at it. When I go here, I use my reusable produce bags and even refill the same containers for the hot food, but I don't expect everybody to go that far.

To the people in hot prepared foods:…read more I wanted to take a moment to congratulate your prepared foods department on accomplishing something I didn't think was possible: making chicken completely inedible. This afternoon my wife purchased two portions of your "Harvest Chicken" from the hot foods counter. When she brought it home, we sat down expecting dinner. Instead, we were treated to what can only be described as a culinary experiment in dehydration. I didn't realize chicken could actually reach the texture of corrugated cardboard, but your staff has apparently mastered that technique. Large sections were so hard that even a fork had trouble getting through them, which is an impressive achievement if the goal was to create building materials rather than food. It's honestly a shame, because an animal had to give its life for that meal, only for it to be cooked into something no human should reasonably be expected to eat. I have seen more care put into kindergarten cooking projects. In the end, most of it went straight into the garbage, which seemed to be the most appropriate place for it. For comparison, a stop at Burger King would have been a noticeable upgrade in quality. You may want to take a look at what's happening behind that counter, because if this is the standard being served to customers, something has gone very wrong.

We ordered: Two custom turkey sandwiches and the breaded chicken club (this was the winner!), and a pre-made Reuben panini heated/pressed (order the panini at their separate counter). All sandwiches other than the panini come with a bag of chips too. A substantial sandwich and a bag of chips for $12 is a deal! The deli is full of deliciousness: fresh mozzarella balls, chicken cutlets, prepared veggies... plus there's a wall of prepared meals (think salmon and veggies, lasagna...) and another of prepared fresh salads. We took home two delicious salads too: beets and spinach, as well as Greek. They were plenty to share among four of us with our sandwiches. If we lived in the area, we'd definitely visit The Market Basket more! And they cater!

Love the few specialty items I found here that I haven't been able to find at my local stop n shop and their meat section was better as well (more options). I also liked that I was able to find a few ethnic items here and the fact that they sell fresh sushi that actually looked good (will try out on my next visit). A few bonuses include the pharmacy and liquor store attached to the store. For me, it's a great addition to the town and I'll definitely be doing some more shopping here in the future.
