After exhaustively looking everywhere I ordered a new pair, but had not yet taken delivery of them, when it was time to travel to my parents house for the Christmas holiday. So, I did what I usually do. I traveled only with the contacts I had in my eyes. Lo and behold, I ripped one of my contacts while taking them out on Christmas day. I have a very strong prescription (-6.75) so there was no way I was able to drive back home to the Boston area without having corrected vision. On Dec 26th I must have called every single Optometrist, Eye Center, Walmart Eye store, etc. in the greater Hartford area, to find out that they were either closed, unable or unwilling to help. I had thought it would be easy to just buy a box from someone as I had my prescription in my car (lucky break) but no such luck. On the off chance of success and in desperation I left a message on Sight, LLC's voicemail. Little did I know but this paged Dr. Lambright on her own holiday travels in the Midwest and she called me back. Not only did she arrange for her employees in her store to give me a sample contact lens, but she did it for no charge. I am obviously very grateful to her, and I can't help but recommend her services. If her regular customer service is anywhere near as good as my experience, Sight LLC is definitely worth your visit when you look for new contacts or glasses.

Before scheduling my exam, I specifically asked whether FSA payments were accepted and was told…read moreyes. After completing my exam and ordering glasses, my WEX FSA card was declined. WEX later advised me that the transaction was rejected because of the expense/merchant coding used by the provider. When I contacted the office after calling 3 times, I was told that other customers had experienced similar issues, but no accommodation or solution was offered. Because I could not use my FSA funds as expected, I was forced to cancel my eyeglasses order. I found the experience disappointing and frustrating. Now my insurance has been billed for the eye exam and I have to go find another optical shop that knows how to submit FSA payments. I should not have to pay out of pocket because they have known about this issue and basically lied and said they could handle FSA expenses when they obviously cannot.

The only time I felt the doctor was giving an in-depth look at what was going on with my eyes. They offer you two additional exams that insurance does not pay for, but they are not expensive and worth it for the amount of detail analysis/images they are able to get on your eyes. I hate shopping and shopping for glasses is not remotely on my list of "favorite things" to do; however, she was very helpful and narrowed the type of styles I liked so I could pick what worked best for me. I discovered them because my Silhouette glasses broke on the day before Thanksgiving. I was desperate to get them fixed before the long weekend. I called several shops and no one could help. Long story short they repaired them for free even though I did not buy them here. I did get my next two pairs from here and was 100% satisfied both times. Just the other day my lenses were badly scratched in an accident and Fedora has come through for me again with excellent service, genuine care and compassion.
