We were in a bit of a pinch for my brother in laws funeral. On the day of the viewing we discovered we still needed flowers. We arrived at Bloomers at 1:30 on a Friday afternoon and were able to get some GORGEOUS arrangements delivered to the funeral home before 4:30 that evening. Because it was right around Christmas the shop was really busy. Recognizing our dilemma, they went the extra mile to help us out. They kicked it into high gear and went over and above to meet our need. There had to be some substitutions made because some of the arrangements called for flowers that were out of season. The substitutions that they made were perfect. The arrangements that we got looked much better than the arrangements that we'd picked out in the book. They drew numerous compliments. My mother in law received a bouquet of Tulips for Mother's Day 2024. Yesterday afternoon, she received a text message that she had a floral delivery due to arrive; upon arrival the delivery driver rang the doorbell, after no one answered the door the decision was made by someone, to leave the vase of tulips on the front porch. I should mention that is was 89 degrees. (Unfortunately, no one was home to answer the door. ) My mother in law called the florist and shared what had happened, and told the florist that unfortunately the flowers had been left outside and they were extremely wilted requesting them to be replaced, and was told by the florist to throw them away if she didn't want to look at the wilting flowers, and hung up on her. I was certain, there must have been a miscommunication. This morning, I called the florist and first spoke with Debi and shared the above details with her. I was then placed on hold, Amy picked up the phone and when explained to her that I was on hold waiting for Debi, I would be happy to wait, Amy told me that Debi was busy and that she would help me. Amy explained to me that this is a very busy time for them and they may be multiple delivery drivers. The drivers are requested to first, text the recipient prior to delivery, and then ring the doorbell. Amy was unwilling to say what should have been done if the door was unanswered. I simply asked to have the flowers re-delivered and Amy said that they are extremely busy and do not have time to do that. I asked to speak with the owner, and was told that the owner does not come in to the shop. I asked who the owner is and Amy said she was unable to share that information. As a previous business owner, I was proud to state my ownership of my business as well as be made aware of when things are not running as I would expect them to be. I then asked Amy to have the owner contact me, as I would surely believe that this is not how she would wish to have her business ran. After the call, I look on the Better Business Bureau to see who the owner is to find out that Debbie Deleso is the owner.. Is this the same Debbie that placed me on hold? I certainly hope not. I was simply asking this florist to make right on the error, and redeliver fresh flowers and was told by Amy "I took the message; I will ask the owner to call you". The party that sent the flowers contacted their local florist of who ordered the flowers from and someone at AZ bloomers again stated that she knocked and rang the doorbell. I am extremely frustrated, that someone spent good money on flowers, and this florist feels that this is acceptable customer service. read more

My new go to flower shop in Mesa. Stopped in for their Roses...But couldn't resist the fragrant summer stock. Left with a big bouquet to bring for someone's birthday. They had a nice selection of birthday cards too...So that saved me a trip. I didn't get the correct size or quality arrangement, the florist immediately went to my mom's residence and caused a disturbance ranting about needing the flowers back because proflowers was refusing to pay. If I could give this shop a zero I would. I ordered an arrangement through FromYouFlowers.com and what I received was a joke. The flowers were half dead and it looked nothing like what I purchased. The women who spoke to me first was rude inconsiderate and told me the owner was not on the premises. Three minutes later she must have shown up, because she called me and then continued to be rude. I'd be surprised if anyone can get a word in between the two, they just don't seem to care about what their customers think. I would never recommend this company. I placed an order for Mother's Day (was expected to deliver tuesday) got there the day of Mother's Day looking like someone just said fuck it and threw it together. Today I called and spoke to the owner of the store who continuously talked over me. Being beyond fucking rude. She continuously stated that they take pictures of the arrangements before they go out which she must have been senile because the arrangement looked absolutely nothing like what I paid for. I do understand the shortage of flowers and the effect of Covid but there is absolutely no excuse to send such an ugly arrangement for the amount we paid for. If there was a shortage you shouldn't have sent those flowers. You should have called and explained that it would not look at all like the picture. The owner proceeded to say that the only way to get a refund is she will go pick up the flowers and give a refund once she takes the flowers back. LADY if you want business try to save yourself and your shop and offer to make a beautiful arrangement to make up for that piece of shit you sent. Disgusting customer service on the owners end. I live out of state, so the recipient sent me pictures and texted/called every day telling me that each day the flowers opened up even more and the bouquet was even more beautiful than the day before. The bouquet was a nice size when she received it, but is huge now (one week later) as the flowers opened more every day. It has been one full week, and the flowers are still beautiful and fresh. Something I learned through this about ordering flowers based on the picture - if you want fresh flowers, the bouquet on arrival may look a little smaller than the picture because the flowers will continue opening into something more and more beautiful. If you receive the flowers at their peak and wide open, they will wither and wilt much more quickly. These truly are the freshest flowers I have ever ordered or received myself. DO NOT PURCHASE FLOWERS FROM THIS PLACE!! I ordered from their FRESH BLOOMERS website. The arrangement was a funeral service...Eternal Spray Wreath for $249 and delivered within 5 miles of their shop to a church. The arrangement was puny and unbelievably embarrassing. After the service, I called and called the shop but no one answered and no voice mail available. I DROVE DIRECTLY to the shop since it was close to the church. A woman was on her cell phone talking to a friend that she in turn said she would call them back. I asked if she were the owner and she confirmed. I described to her the flower arrangement that was delivered to the funeral service and how it did not look like the arrangement on the advertisement from their website. She stated they never do and that I needed to contact teleflora to dispute it. I tried explaining to her that I did not order thru TELEFLORA, I ordered directly thru Fresh Bloomers. She ignored and argued with me terribly to the point that I will be contacting the BBB of AZ next. I ordered a $60.00 arrangement . What my daughter received was a wimpy $25.00 arrangement . Called Bloomers in Mesa Arizona and talked to Debbie. Who turned out to be the owner ( found this out when I asked to speak to her manager) I explained how disappointed I was. And also that my daughter sent me pictures, cause I asked her to , and described what was in the arrangement. Debbie only argued that she followed the recipe given . My response was to add up the cost of the flowers she responded with " why would I do that " ? ? I ended up calling FTD and talked to a gentlemen who sent my order to a different flower shop . Called them in advance in the evening to confirm they were open and let them know I was coming by. Staff confirmed they were open but when I arrived 10 minutes later, they had shuttered the place closed. Clearly negligent and apathetic staff. Stay away. read more

I ordered flowers for my sister's birthday in August through FTD. My sister sent me a picture of the arrangement that she received. It had substantially less flowers that what I had paid for. I contacted FTD and they refunded a portion of my money. They said that they couldn't give me the name of the florist. My sister gave me the name of the florist that was on the card that came with the flowers. It was Fresh Bloomers Flowers & Gifts. I called them, and talked to the owner who said that she would look into it. Never heard back from them. Called again this morning, and the owner won't be back for a week. I would definitely not recommend using this florist ever. Substituted a cheaper arrangement than what I paid for. Who would do that in this day and age when people can get pictures of what was received and see that they're being ripped off. (uflowers) i paid for the most expensive arrangement and checked the depiction of the order prior to placing my order. these were ordered for the next day delivery. Upon delivery i saw the arrangement and knew instantly this is not what i purchased. I waved the delivery man down and he came back i told him this is not what i ordered. he said "call the company you ordered from". i went inside and called sendflowers, spoke with Sarita who was very kind and took down my notes advising that the arrangement was not fulfilled appropriately and asked for the redelivery. I asked do i have to return this one? what do i do? Per Sarita, no you do not return this one is a complimentary bouquet due to the inconvenience we will message the florist and they will send a new one. NO RETURN NECESSARY DUE TO THE INCONVENIENCE. Not 2 mins later i get a call from BLOOMERS FLOWERS AND GIFTS. A very upset woman starts off by saying " i need you to put the flowers outside i have someone going to pick them up!!!!" i said I'm sorry who is this? she sounded angry and said "you complained about the arrangement!! Is this Maria??" i said no I am the customer who ordered. She stated that she wants the flowers back and that she will have someone come over. The cost was over $88.00, this does not include all the fees. I asked my sister to take a photo of the bouquet and send it to me. When I received the photo, I was Steaming. The bouquet (if you want to call it that). Looks as though a child went to the field and picked flowers for their Mom. Actually that would have been a better bouquet. They sent a plant and flower arrangement for mother's day that soon started wilting and by the fourth day the flowers were dried up and the leaves on the plant wilted. But the worst part was that they accused us of not taking care of the arrangement, leaving it out in the sun, not watering it or watering it too much.
