Upon arrival, receptionist was very welcoming, took my temperature, and had me sign their waiver. Monica did a really great job and took her time. Edit: They contacted me and got me in to fix the fill. I am so appreciative that they reached out to try and fix the issue. The artist was super sweet and apologized. She did the best she could to fill them in and fix where they were uneven. I have booked 1 last fill appointment to hopefully see an improvement. I may have just had a less experienced artist, and hope this time is better! I'm so sad to write this review because it really is the most adorable salon, and I WANT to love it so much!! The last visit I had here really just solidified it for me. My stylist was 30 minutes late to our Hybrid fill appointment. I sat waiting patiently, and totally understand that these things happen, but she just seemed so flustered. Once she did arrive, the fill felt really rushed, probably to make up time, and after I asked her to confirm that she did do Hybrid lashes even because they still looked a bit bare to me and not as thick as when they were originally done. My full set lasted a little over 3 weeks (and they honestly still looked pretty good!), and I was in to get them filled in for an event I had. This Hybrid fill didn't feel very full, and I asked her if it was even Hybrid as soon as it was over. Additionally, I asked for the "winged" edges, and even asked her after if she did which she said she did but it didn't look like she used longer lashes on the edges. At checkout, I was surprised that they didn't discount the service for the inconvenience of waiting over 30 minutes for her to arrive, but didn't say anything. It is now a little over 1 week later, and my lashes on one side are almost completely gone! It is insane to think that 9 days later I will need a new fill, and actually probably a full set because there are so many missing. Clearly something was not done correctly, and it is very disappointing. I paid $200+ for my original set and $140 a little over a week ago and need to now do it again! Very upsetting. [solid 4.5 review] It is safe to say that after my first Bloom Boutique visit today, I am now an eyelash extensions fan-specifically for this location! After purchasing my Groupon deal: MINK eyelashes for $66 (original price $200 something), I was able to schedule an appointment right away for a time and day that worked for me- very convenient, good sign. Drive carefully to your first visit because I completely passed the building today. Refer to my pictures, but the building is a mustard color that has an apartment-like feel. BB is located towards the rear of the building so consider parking behind the building. The boutique itself is quite smaller than I thought, but it feels cozy, a good cozy ;) As soon as I walked in I saw 2 other patrons getting their lashes done. Some may see this as awkward, but it's an eyelash studio, get over it. If you want a private room, all you need to do is request it. Personally, I think the interior is super cute and girly! I was greeted by Cherie who actually performed my service today. I arrive at 11:45 for my noon appointment and was pulled back at 12:10p. The process itself is pretty straight forward. They start off by asking what type of look are you going for and if you have any allergies to the products. From there, Cherie continued to talk about what to expect and that really made me feel comfortable. After securing my lower lashes with a super soft gel tape, we were off to eyelash extension lalaland... The actual application process is quite comfortable-(I almost fell asleep a few times but held back because I tend to breath heavy/snore, lol). With her magic tools, it sounds like Cherie is cutting my lashes but she's actually spreading each hair then applying the extension. She actually showed me the process when we were done which was cool. There was a slight irritation from the glue fumes, but lasted for just a few minutes. When we were done Cheri went over after care instructions and really made sure I understood everything before I left. The best thing about my service is that my eyelids don't feel heavy/weighed down also the length is perfect which means Cheri really listened to what I wanted. I think the one thing I would change for my next visit is having a more comfortable pillow for my head. At one point, I started feeling really dizzy, because it was hard for me to breath lying directly on my back without my head elevated. So if you have difficulty breathing on your back and feel constriction, it's process isn't for you. The beds are not that comfy, I think they should have a little bit more padding especially since your eyelash treatment is about 2 hours... *Total appointment Turn Around Time from check-in to check out: Less than 2 Hours. read more

I agree the lashes are a hit or miss when it comes to actually staying on your lashes... I've gotten my lashes done here before and usually have a different person working on my lashes and they usually last anywhere from 2-4 weeks that's if you never mess with you lashes (except to clean and brush). I gave myself a break and came back to get a set for the holidays. I originally just wanted an upgrade from classic to volume but my technician miss understood me and gave me MEGA LASHES instead which I didn't necessarily want. I was fine with the look because I thought they would last but after a few days my right eyelashes nearly ALL CAME OFF...I would have called but I was out of town for a few weeks and wouldn't get them fixed in time. NOW: I still have a great amount of lashes on my left but my right eye is nearly gone (look at pictures) think I'm going to have to go back to take them off instead of a fill at this point since they look very noticeable at this point. read more

Another review update!!! Sarah just did my make up for a weekend event and she did such a great job. I don't wear make up on a regular basis, I normal wear concealer and mascara so people are not used to seeing me wear make up. The day of the event no one recognized me, but in a good way. I received countless compliments on my make-up. A guy who met me a month before didn't recognize me. In fact he asked his sister who I was because he wanted to ask me out. Alexa has been doing my lashes for the past few months and every time they are amazing. I've asked her for different lash looks. It's super fun to be able to do a more natural look and then the next something with more drama and know they will look amazing. I would double check to see if the lash look you ask for is a hybrid or more expensive than you originally planned for so you don't get surprised at the checkout. Also, my lashes sometimes twist and poke my eyeball so it's important to brush and wash them. They will last longer too. Bloom has me leaving feeling great about my eyelashes every time. I got lash extensions from Bloom many times in the past, and I gotta say that based on my personal experience, their service is hit-or-miss. This review is about the most recent two visits. I got classic lashes last Thursday because I had a party coming up on the weekend. I even bought the after-care products (sealer and lash wash) recommended and did everything I was supposed to. Nevertheless, I found out that most lashes near my left eye corner already fell off that evening, and the next morning (Friday), about 1/3 of my right-eye lashes have fallen off. I called Bloom and the owner Sarah offered me a complimentary fix. My lashes looked fine after the fix. BUT in the evening, lots of lashes have fallen off again! On the day of the party (Sunday), my friends even asked if I had already removed my extension because almost none of the extensions were still there. To think that I spent the money on lash extensions and in less than 3 days, they are all gone... I really want to love Bloom because it's such an adorable salon and the technicians are all very sweet. But my most recent visit was such a disappointing and frustrating experience. I must add that I got my lashes done with the same technician 6 weeks ago, and it was great and lasted almost 3 weeks. Perhaps they changed the type of glue they use or something else? I really appreciate how Bloom lash spa is run! The owner sincerely cares about every client! Every time I go for a fill or even a new full set it is great experience. They always do a check after each fill to make sure all lashes are in their place correctly and it is what you want. It may be a bit more pricy than other lash spas but worth it in my opinion. Update of my review because I had such an amazing experience with Carol! What I love most about Carol is how friendly she is with her customers. This was my second experience getting lashes from Bloom and I LOVE my lashes. Carol listened to the type of lashes (mink, natural, and full) I wanted and they look amazing! A plus note is that Carol worked really fast (45-1 hour) and my lashes still look good! If you are new to getting lashes, I would recommend getting them at Bloom (especially with Carol or Yuri) because they will explain to you the different types of lashes and ask what you are looking for. Bloom has also been extremely busy so if you know the dates you want, make sure to book it in advance. They also opened another boutique that is walking distance from the original boutique. If you get lost, just find the Walgreens on the main street of Lincoln, turn into the parking lot and you will see the building next door to Walgreens (this is where the original Bloom boutique is located). My last 4 star experience has now turned into a 5 and I am definitely coming back! read more

Eyebrow Lamination I had some concerns with having an eye brown lamination because it seems to be newer and not offered many places. Marlen did a great job and I am very happy with my brows. The first 24 hours is scary because I was not used to seeing my brows so slicked up and bold - but this is part of the sealing process. Once the 24 hours had passed i was able to rinse and easily manipulate them into the desired shape. Called in to make an appointment for a Saturday and was booked right away with no issues. If it's your first time, trying this spot out they do require a credit card to hold your appointment. Also I inquired about pricing for fullsets with different eyelash techs and the receptionist was more then helpful. I was booked with Lesliy to do a hybrid set which would take about 2 hours which BTW is normal. For someone who has gotten lashes done many times from different lash techs, I was very pleased on how my lashes turned out. Only thing is one of my eyes gets super watery so I knew some of the lashes wouldn't last. Not the techs fault at all, I wish I could avoid it but I liked the outcome regardless. Will be booking a fill soon and I also picked up a bottle of there lash cleanser for $17. Lesliy also did send me home with a couple extra spooly brushes. Addicted! I have been coming to Bloom for lash extensions for a little over 3 years. The salon is cute, extremely clean and the staff is very welcoming. I usually see Sarah and she is amazing. Not only is she great at what she does, but she is super friendly and always goes above and beyond to accommodate my crazy schedule. I have never had a bad time here. My fave eyelash tech, Savannah, always does an incredible job. She's so careful and meticulous. Booking appointments online is super easy, highly recommend doing so that way. Trying to call the place is often worthless, I rarely get through to someone and voicemails take at least a day turnaround time. However, besides that, everyone there is always so kind to me when I'm there to get a fill. I got the silk lashes because I'm allergic to cats and didn't want to test my chances with the mink. I got the 15s, D curl because my lashes were so long and curly when I first started getting them done. I literally am so in love with how I look with my lash extensions. I didn't even need to wear makeup, because my lashes always made me look put together. You just feel like you can fly away with your lashes. I got my lashes done about 5-6 times from March to May to keep my eyes looking gorge. I loved my lashes, but I'm taking a hiatus to let my lashes grow back in because they've definitely gotten way shorter. Nonetheless, I'm obsessed with getting my lashes done, especially here. I got a natural looking lash set here which translates into 12in wispie style in Mink lashes. I am less here for a review and more so to help those considering lashes a helping hand. I was recommended by my friend. I don't normally wear make up and she said that I would love them so I went ahead and tried. I didn't do my research haha so I am here so you do not have to. There are lash lengths and I was told 12 was the natural size that most people get. 13-15 is more glam. I learned this AFTER getting the 12 set and thinking to myself "I thought it would look more dramatic." There are Mink and Silk. Mink is natural. Silk is man made. Everyone I talk to recommends Mink. You can get wispies style, cat eye, or a single length set. I got wispies and like them a lot as they are different sizes across with larger ones in the middle. You can park in the BoA lot when coming here. I had trouble finding it via GPS but someone posted pics so its easy on you yay! read more

Where do I start? I made the mistake of trying this place through a good deal with Groupon. I've had my lashes done before and they were perfect! No discomfort and completely lightweight. Although Katie was nice, the lashes at Bloom were too thick and heavy for my liking for a natural look. The lashes poked into my eyes in the inner corners because they are too long for my asian eyes. I was informed it is normal to have some redness and irritation for the first few days. They were stinging at times and it's still uncomfortable the day after. It looks like I have pink eye. I called the day after to request a lash removal due to the terrible discomfort. They have to charge me another $35 for the removal despite my dissatisfaction and discomfort from the lashes. I will not stray from my lash place again. Lesson learned. Save yourself the trouble and invest in an excellent lash expert that cares about her customers. read more
