This nail salon has had ups and downs over the past few years. Changes in employees and ownership, maybe. I'd sworn them off after a pedicure where the lady punched my foot (seriously) while administering a massage I asked not to have. The same lady told me about how she used to be afraid of black people but got a black boyfriend and wasn't anymore. Ma'am, that is not chit chat. lol Anyway, after disasters at Lotus and OP Nails I reluctantly returned. I've been pleasantly surprised. My nails are sharp, pointy talons...just the way I like them! I typically go on weekdays, during the day so the wait is never bad. The shop is clean and sometimes eerily quiet. Other times strange classical versions of pop songs cut in and out. I didn't come for a concert though- the nails are oh so good. I've had a really thorough pedicure, too. My only complaints would be the longest crystal chandelier ever that I almost walk into every time and the fact some employees seem weary with their job and don't try to hide it. I don't expect warmth but open disdain ain't the jam. With all that being said, I walk around the chandelier and ignore any attitude. My nails are gorgeous thanks to this place. What a horrible nail salon. I'm pregnant and was struggling to take my shoe off, and nobody helped me. This place is shady. They tell you one price verbally and then nickel and dime you when time to pay with added charges. The owner told me the price was $26 for No Chip but then charged me an additional $5 for taking off the previous no chip. How can you do a new No Chip without taking off the old one. She should have said $31. They are slow. Will not return!!! read more

I have been a frequent customer for a few months. The nail manicures are hit or miss depending on technician. I have gone at several different times of day after work, lunch time during the week Saturday morning, and they never seem to have enough nail technicians. They always say the wait is 20 minutes however it never has been it's always at least 45 min . Best bet is to make an appointment for this place it is not walk in friendly. read more

This is my third experience at Bliss Nails. The first two times I got pedicures and I was happy with them. This time I got a pedi and gel nail with the chrome and I love it! Horrible this place is overly hype , I call ahead to see if anything was available I was told they are able to do 2 pedicures and 2 full sets and soak offs and that they stop taking walk ins at 5:30 . I get there at 5:20. I get ready to do my pedicure she says she doesn't have time to do my soak off or full set even though she told me she did over the phone . Then she said she could pop my nails off I asked if it would've damaged my nails she said yes why would you suggest something that would damage my nails... So I told her I would like to just get my toe nail polish changed. As I'm sitting there 3 customers came in asking for pedis and manis in which she said yes to even though she told me she doesn't have time and that she stopped taking walk ins at 5:30. Then she charged me $30 which is the same price as a pedi for a freaking polish change even though I didn't get a pedicure. This was absolutely horrible I would not suggest here and I only came here because it had good views oh and she also made a lady who was sitting there before us leave " because she didn't have time " HORRIBLE read more

Ive been going to Bliss Nails for several years and I'm pretty sure I'm never going anywhere else. Diane runs a great business! There are a ton of colors to choose from and she has exceptional nail techs working in the shop. I recommend this place to anyone who asks about quality nail shops. My first visit to this nail salon was okay. They seemed pretty busy when I walked in but the gentleman assured me it would only be a few minutes and urged me to pick my color. I went in for a Gel mani and pedi. Most places explain what colors are matching for the gel and whatnot but not here. Anyway, once I figured out the color situation, I sat in the chair with my feet in the bowl and waited. And waited. Finally, I was helped after about 30 minutes. No big deal I wasn't in a huge hurry. The pedi turned out fine. My Manicure was good as well and I decided I would go back. So this past weekend I went back. When I walked in all the nail techs were busy doing pedicures. They did look up to see me walk in but not one person asked what service I was in for. So I signed up, picked my color and sat. Ten minutes went by and still no one had came to the front counter. Another customer walked in and waited at the counter. Still no one came up to greet her. She left. I had noticed another woman waiting and asked how long she had been there. She said more than 20 minutes. I ended up leaving. Not because I don't think they don't do a good job, but mostly because of the poor customer service. read more

This used to be my go to nail salon, but no more. They used to be super friendly and their services were meticulous. As their clientele increased, their services has gone down. There are never enough nail stylists to handle the number of customers so they always rush. The owners are nice, but they go above and beyond for some customers and seem not to bother with others. The Mr. is nice, the Mrs. not so much. I dreaded finding another nail salon so I stayed until I got the worse service ever!!! I have found a better salon and my nails are happy again. read more

So I got a gift card for Christmas and I went to get a gel manicure. The woman who did it was nice, but my nails were noticeably uneven and she was talking to someone when she was buffing and was in one spot and made me bleed. Another woman came over to finish and she did great. My nails looked wonderful.. I figure accidents happen I will give it another shot. So yesterday I try a pedicure. Different girl, very sweet. She used the dark purple side of the pumice stone on the soft outside of my foot and it started bleeding. She asked if I was ok. I just wanted out of there. My paint job was ok. I used to love coming to this nail salon, and didn't mind when I had to wait over an hour to be seen.. I would regularly get a pedicure and fill in with design every two weeks. The service for the pedicure was fine. But, when it was time to get get my nails filled I told the tech (assuming she's the wife of the owner-which was not the reg person that did my fills when I came) that I wanted a design on two nails she said she couldn't do it. So I asked if I could wait on the lady that regularly does them and she told me that the lady said "No". The lady asked did I still want her to do my fill i said ok. But, I think that it's not right that I'm being serviced in this manner esp when I tip every time for the service. As she was taking off my gel polish she was being extremely rough. I asked if there was a problem and if I did anything wrong, she says do you want me to do your nails or not, yanked my finger upwards to show me what she did. By that time someone walks up to ask her a question and she walks away. At that point, I'm pissed and very disappointed that that my efforts were wasted. I left with unfinished nails. What I've also noticed, is that they would take and make appointments for their Caucasian customers and tell the African American customers they can't take or make appointments. I would not recommend this place. I went here because my normal nail place was closed and I regret not waiting to go to my normal nail place. I got there the lady that did my pedicure did awesome, but the lady that did my nail did a horrible job. Let's start with the fact that she was all over the place rushing to find this and that and then when I told her I wanted white she got a powder that looked clear and she was trying to convince me that it was white..... then when she did my nails with the right color she was rushing the whole time not taking her time like I am used to at other salons that I have been to. Come to find out she was rushing because she wanted to go home. My nails lasted maybe a week before I decided to pull them off because I didn't like them. Honestly if you are looking for a great place to get your nails done that last 3+ weeks go to natural nails off of Southmore across from the Burger King, and if you are looking for a good place to get a pedicure go to Judy's nails on Southmore across from the Elementary school I forget the guys name but I believe he is the only guy that works there he does a great job!!! read more

Today was the worst experience with Kan, the nail technician. The pedicure was excellent by Lisa as usual, and I will miss here but I will NEVER step foot in that place again. In addition to my pedicure, I also received "soak off" service, my tips were wrapped in foil (which did not soak off the product). Kan was annoyed that his foil technique was ineffective, and falling of my fingers, he kept shaking his head at each finger as he continually twisted my arms, and fingers in an awkward position, as if I were a rag doll, or contortionist. I stated, "you should try exercising a little patience with your customers," after being told that I messed up my fingers due to his failed technique, REALLY!? Now, after this horrible treatment it was time to pay for my services. I CLEARLY stated to run 60.00 on my card, and handed this man a 20.00 bill. Something prompted me to check my account online through my bank, and as I discerned, this THIEF took the 80.00 from my card, and the 20.00 in cash without my authorization. This is the worst place to get service for nails, next to Color My Nails Spa running first place. Then a random lady was walking near me, that had absolutely nothing to do with this situation (a customer at that). Do you think that he ever once looked at me in the face, apologized, or anything? No the thief knew that he was in the wrong. I hate the facility and urge you to use cash if you dare take a risk going there. Close this place down like yesterday! read more

Have been to Bliss Nails twice now, first for a peppermint pedicure and again yesterday for a dip nails manicure. Great experience both times. Pedicure was long, thorough and relaxing. They have different pedicure options. Manicure looks great! I love the dip nails and they last a long time. Had two different technicians both good. Very short wait time both trips, and the first my mom and I both got pedis at the same time. Will warn that it did get super busy while I was there (Friday around 4) and people did have to wait 30+ mins. read more
