I've officially had it with Bliss Nail Spa. After giving them multiple chances, my last visit sealed the deal--I won't be coming back. I paid $172 for a sloppy Gel-X manicure and a regular pedicure, and the experience was beyond disappointing. My cuticles were overcut again (to the point of bleeding), the 17-minute massage I was promised barely lasted 3, and they painted my toes the wrong color. When I brought up my concerns, the manager did nothing, and the staff acted like they didn't understand. I still paid and tipped out of respect, but I walked out knowing that was my last time. I come here all the time and have never had a bad experience. Always just walk. It's never crowded. Today had a simple pedicure and it is awful! The guy's hands were shaky the entire time. My toes look awful! He messed up my big toe and wasn't even going to redo it until I said something. Noticed he didn't even paint my entire pinky toe and when I told him, he messed it up even worse. When I told the guy who checked me out, he just smiled and said I need to make an appointment. The best nails in Dallas. By far! I've been seeing Tommy, the owner, for 10 years and have followed him to salons all over Dallas until he opened Bliss a few years ago. Tommy has an amazing attention to detail AND is fast, which is a hard combination to find. I get dip and acrylic nails and they're always super "thin" and natural - never thick and puffy. I've also seen Natalie many times and she's wonderful too. The cherry on top is that Bliss is well-decorated and relaxing (again, not easy to find). Just make sure you go to the NW Hwy Bliss Nail SPA - there are a couple Bliss' around Dallas so it's easy to put the wrong one into GPS. read more

I dropped in without an appointment to get a dip on my nails. There were several workers there and only one other customer having her nails done. They took me right away which was nice. My entire dip manicure took about 20 minutes. The manicurist rushed through the process. No filing my nails to even them out. No pushing back or cutting my cuticles. No massage or lotion applied to my hands afterwards. And they still charged full price. I'm mad at myself for not speaking up, but maybe that is just how they do it there? The price was the same as I pay at other salons, but the service was definitely subpar. My dip manicures usually last at least 45 minutes. I will not be returning and I would not recommend Bliss nail spa to anyone. read more

The last 2 times I had to go back due to my dipped nails cracking in the same week and for my nails not being buffed the day of getting my nails done. I loved this place until the last time I came, the pedicure chair they sat me in already had water in the bowl where you put your feet. 100% of the times I have gotten a pedicure, they fill the water up infront of you to show it's a clean liner and bowl. Gross. I made it obvious that I was weary about putting my feet in there, but the woman sort of acted like she didn't understand what I was doing. I wanted to try bliss again one more time to give it a chance and I am appalled at my nails. Tiffany was my nail tech and completed my dip manicure in 22 minutes. Yes I timed it! She seemed to be clearly in a rush and my nails paid for it. They look awful. The dip color is uneven all over my nails and the finishing polish that she put on is all marked up and not smooth. Recently back in Dallas after a 6 year hiatus and needed a pedicure something terrible! Given this place is less than a mile from my hood I set out to see if I could walk-in. Once I came in I was greeted at the door by a super sweet and smiling front desk person. Promptly took my name and asked me to select a nail color. They have a pretty wide selection. More than I had time to look through however I'm going straight polish and nothing fancy like gel. I was seated pretty quickly by a nice lady. They have a few different pedicures to choose from so I went with their top shelf that includes a longer massage and paraffin wax and hot stones! I chose lavender for the scent. The sweet man came by and offered me drinks-red or white wine, mimosa. Next a heated neck wrap was placed on my neck and the massage chair was offered. They have a several televisions and music going if that's your thing. They have a large number of pedicure chairs. I would guess easily 20-25! This is the place for a bridal group or girls nail day!About 8 tables for manicure work. Someone poo poo'd in another review about cheap wine. It's not terrible for a nail salon. I've had worse. I got the red wine so maybe the white is not acceptable-I don't know. The massage and pedicure were great! I would recommend and come back. read more

Walked in with no appointment they were super helpful with getting me seen, was put with this one lady super sweet! However was absolutely rushing through the entire process to where she was loosing control of the tools and dropping the nail equipment. I normally scroll through my phone or watch one of the tvs while getting my nails done but when I looked up at her her concentration was up at the front desk rather than my nails which caused the tool to go around my finger. Was not hurt but concerned me alittle. I asked for a basic short french tip w/ coffin shape. Super simple nothing extra, normally I pay $60 for. Now this time it was $85 for short french tip.. Now that i'm looking at my nails definitely not worth paying for. Definitely shouldn't have left the tip I did.. but that's what I get for not speaking up. While getting a pedicure last week, they took off my necklace and I didn't notice till the next day but the pendant was missing. they said it was not able to be found (it had to have been in the cup holder or by the chair) and they never offered an apology, were laughing when I went by in person after I exited the store, I loved going to this place but no longer trust the employees or management. I was so hoping they were honest people and I wouldn't have to find a new place. Even an apology or a follow up phone call would have been nice but I will no longer be a customer here. Also, adding I know they were not serious about looking for it when they didn't even care to ask to see a photo. They could barely make eye contact with me when I came in the store in person. I will be telling close friends and social media so they're aware of how this situation was handled. I had a good experience at the beginning but the second time I had went last year my nail chipped and I came back to get it done and they gave me a very poorly experienced nail technician that hurt my finger and didn't shape my nail to fit with the others and made my nail just look very ugly. The man (I think his name was Golden?) who did my manicure was VERY rough with how he handled and gripped my fingers and hand, and drilled my nail beds with reckless abandon to where they burned. When I expressed obvious discomfort, he looked annoyed. For the first time in years, my NextGen manicure was literally breaking off, chipping, and cracking along the entire nail on my thumb and finger within two weeks (every other manicure I get elsewhere still looks perfect after 4 weeks), so clearly application and technique are poor as well. I've been getting regular dipped manicures for years and this is one of the worst. My male friend got a manicure as well, and they skipped buffing the nails to a shine like every other nail salon does. When he inquired about this, they said they were out of the buffer files. How??
