If I could leave a zero I would. You get ripped off. I paid 77 dollars for short French tip acrylics that feel like they're going to pop off in a week and are so bulky. Then they have the audacity to ask if I like them. Please don't go there if you have actual standards for your sets ladies. Update: my real nails are all brittle and broken because of their nail prep work. She chopped my real nails all the way down and jagged then placed different shaped fake nails on my fingers. When I told her to remove them and put the right ones she just told me it would come out the same and proceeded. I value the quality of my real nails and for them to be hurting and breaking after removing the nails she did is genuinely heart breaking. Just had to update my review because I can't get over how BAD she did me. What gets to me is they asked if I liked my nails at the end of the service, saying no isn't very classy and so isn't sitting there and explaining what they did wrong. so there was no point in causing a scene. I don't think it should get to a point where I have to sit there and explain what they did wrong, they should train all their employees to do good work especially if they're charging and arm and a leg. ‍ I will not be going back ever, I wouldn't even have stayed to get them removed. read more

I used to like this place a lot but today I went to get a fill and normal French tip... when I was about to pay I heard the guy say $65 so I thought ok nice... so I'll tip $10 when I saw my receipt it was $85 plus $10 it was $97.55 for a fill?! Come on! I will never go back and I'll will go to my normal nail tech she always does designs and adds rhinestone... she never charges me more then $75 she's a bit far but at this point I rather drive a few mile. I saw the great reviews this place had online, and decided to come for an emergency nail appointment while in Dallas. I've been doing my own nails at home for 7+ years now, but I didn't have my nail kit and tools while traveling. I got a full set of builder gel nails overlayed on my natural nails. I already had my nails shaped, but my tech continued to shape and file them much shorter than the length I came in with. I had to tell him not to go any shorter, as he kept filing. It's now two days after my appointment, and the builder gel is already lifting from the sidewalls and free edges. They charged me $90 and refuse any refunds "because of policy". I have a flight to catch so I cannot return to their salon for a fix. Guess I'm SOL! They seem nice, but don't get builder gel I guess lol. read more

I came in as a walk in asking for a refill on my acrylic nails and brought my own polish cause I wanted this specific color for an event. I asked if it was possible to do that and the rep in the front said yes. He then proceeded to ask if my polish was gel and I said no. He then said oh we can't do refills if it's not gel and I was so confused???? And I asked why not if my nails are regular polish. His response was "oh if we do regular polish on acrylics it will blend together the color and smear. So we can do you refill but it has to be with gel." This location is great! I've been there twice in 6 weeks and I was not someone who would really care about their hands until I was in invited by a friend. Easy access, cozy spot and overall a very nice place. I like going to Rayy because he is so detailed and chill. He's not pushy and he has the best recommendations! I went here about a year ago for a set of acrylics and was very pleased and happy with the service. I came back today because of the convenience of location from my home, safe to say I will not be returning. I stated multiple times that I wanted the standard polish pedicure and manicure with NO upgrades. They pointed at the wrong list (the upgraded option) and said "this one right?" I'm not stupid, I know exactly what they're trying to do here. The water was extremely hot on my feet, the table kept falling over while she was trying to do my manicure, and they moved my shoes and didn't give them to me at the end of the service so I had to dig around the floor and find them. Also, the lady told me I have a lazy eye out of the blue... "your eye goes this way?" She said. I don't even have a lazy eye at all. Basically, if you're not spending a pretty penny here you get treated like shit. Go to dorado nail spa instead, I know I will be. read more

Staff appears friendly, plenty of colors to choose from. I came here around noon and was able to get seated right away. My pedi & mani were done simultaneously, so I was in and out in one hour. My pedicure was done by Mary, she's an elderly lady who takes her times with pedicures. She did a good job overall but she did cause some bleeding on my toe from removing my cuticle. I also wish she would have confirmed with me what shape I want my toes to be because it's not as straight and square as I prefer it. I was also too distracted with my nails to point it out to her until after I noticed it. I just assumed she would go with the natural shape of my nails since I came with my nails already shaped from a previous gel pedi. My gel manicure was done by Cherry, she was also friendly and listened when I asked her to change or correct things with my nails. Both ladies were overall good. I do feel my gel mani doesn't look as great as what I am used to, I don't think it's the fault of the nail technician but I'm also not sure why. The same gel polish was used on my toe nails and I feel it looks better for some reason. Last thing to note, upon checking in I received a 10% coupon for it being my first time here. When I presented it to the staff they did not honor it and mentioned it no longer applies. It would be nice if it's taken down so it doesn't affect anyone else moving forward. read more

staff is very rude. was here today with my best friend and the front desk people acted annoyed and bothered right when we walked in. the lady doing my friends pedicure was very rough and kept hitting her foot if she even moved a tiny bit. then she disappeared and we thought we were done but at that point it had been like an hour and so my friend was just done and wanted to go. she didn't even get to do the paraffin wax, massage or hot stones. but they still charged her for everything except a few dollars off since no massage. no one offered us a drink at all. the lady doing my nails was fine but we could tell they were all gossiping and being weird. it smelled very strongly of something, couldn't tell you what because it wasn't the normal salon scent, but it gave me a headache. anyways we won't be returning, possibly just a bad one off experience but we felt very uncomfortable especially my friend and it was not good. read more

I think I have found my favorite nail shop! I am not from Dallas, so my first priority was to find a local shop that does good work and is worth the price. I was able to call and get a same-day appointment for both a powder dip and pedicure. I was greeted by a sweet gentleman that made me a great cocktail while I picked my colors. The ambiance was classy and pretty quiet. Everyone is so nice and it looks like they all enjoy working with each other. They treat you like royalty the moment you step in. Best customer service I've Received at a nail salon. Holly did my powder dip and was so patient and informative. Great communication and she did a phenomenal job shaping my short coffin shaped nails. My pedicure was wonderful as well, super neat and relaxing. I wish I would have gotten her name, but I feel that you can't go wrong with anyone. I won't be going anywhere else. She is newer but it was one of the best manicures I've gotten there. She was so careful to do a good job & made sure I was happy with every step. Everytime I come here my nails are a different price for the SAME thing. I get a short acrylic French tip with a gel painted tip I have paid : $85 , 95 & $110 for the SAME NAILS . Went in today for a FILL IN asked the price before sitting down , one guy was basically making them up as he went never gave me a solid price . The man who sat me I asked to tell me the price he wrote out $55: $40 for the fill in $15 for the gel polish. At the end of my appointment I was charged $66 . Because apparently a French tip fill I where you are using LESS gel polish was $25 extra nkt $15 although I told him exactly what I wanted before sitting down. It's not only illegal and horrible practice but predatory to tell me one price and charge me different one. read more

I am disappointed though in the last couple of months they are under new management the prices have gone up in general and there are some new unexpected fees. I went yesterday for a dip manicure. The nail tech asked if I wanted my nails cut shorter and I said yes, but she cut them so short that the skin at the end of my nails is sore and tender. Also, when she used the file to shape my nails after the dip was applied, it was so rough that the skin on the sides of my nails is red due to her filing off the skin around my nails. I am attaching photos-it is hard to see the redness, but it is there for sure. I won't be going back here. read more

Had the worst manicure ever yesterday!! The lady didn't file or buff my nails. The top coat spilled onto the skin around my nails making a crusty look. And my cuticles were snipped unevenly. I could have done a better job myself! It was so bad that I was embarrassed for people to see my nails. I drove straight to Nail Expertise and got a second manicure where they fixed what the lady at Cosmo's did. So I had to pay for two manicures. Ridiculous. read more
