After they finished told me to wait 5 minutes less then that there was one of them trying to put my shoes on and I was rushed to wash my hands to pay. I was surprised with the whole mess. Not going back it was lost money since I have to go get them fixed for my vacation.

I actually made an appointment at this place by accident, mistaking it for another place - just my luck - and got the basic pedi for $35 plus gel for an extra $20. My pedicure lasted maybe fifteen minutes. It was so incredibly rushed that I was certain it would turn out terribly. He asked if I wanted my nails cut, to which I said yes, but I was not prepared for just how short he cut them. There was no shape left, and they are extremely jagged and uneven looking. He didn't even bother to file them, just butchered them with clippers and called it a day, and by then it was too late to fix them. They actually look worse than they did when I went in, and I hadn't gotten a pedicure in months. I chose a sparkly purple and it was applied so unevenly, thin, and didn't even completely cover my toenails. The end result was shockingly bad. Before getting a closer look, I quickly paid the $55 plus a low tip (which I never do) of $6. When I got to my car I was devastated by how horrible they looked. I went back in and explained my grievances to the manager who was nice and apologetic but sat me back down with the same dude to fix them. I told him please just take the polish off, I just want to get out of here. I was only offered a $20 refund. I paid $40 for this (see photo). I'm so sad. He got to keep the $6 tip I initially left too.

When I got there, she already had different sizes ready for me to look at and choose from. Kim spent about 10 minutes helping me figure out placement and was sweet with my OCD self. That little bit of preparation made such a difference! During the tattoo, Kim was so sweet and walked me through everything. She kept checking on me the entire time to make sure I was okay . I was completely fine, but I appreciated her checking anyway! The tattoo came out PERFECT and exactly how I pictured it in my head. Then there's TEENA! My first appointment with her was a whole mess on MY end. I accidentally went into the wrong location because Rose Couture also has the nail salon that is right next door, and then the power went out, so I ended up having to go home. Teena was so understanding about everything and had no problem helping me reschedule. I finally got to see her Tuesday, August 25th, and it was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. As soon as I walked in, Teena took me right back, talked with me, asked a ton of questions about what I was looking for, and we decided the Myers Cocktail was the best choice for me. I'm SO glad we did. The entire experience was probably one of the most relaxing things I have ever done. I literally booked my next appointment for September before I left. And I have to mention this because it matters to me: BOTH times I have gone to Rose Couture Wellness, I signed in and was taken back almost immediately. I usually come after work, so not having to sit around waiting forever is a HUGE plus for me and honestly one of the reasons I'll keep coming back. Everyone I've interacted with has been genuinely nice, the atmosphere is relaxing, and I never feel rushed or uncomfortable. This is my favorite nail salon in Dallas. It's affordable and they do a thorough job. Unlike many salons, they don't hand you a menu and try to upsell you on minimal features and then give a speedy super basic mani/pedi if you don't buy one of the packages. The staff here does a detailed job on the 'basic' mani/pedi which still lasts longer and includes more than the basics elsewhere. Plus they're super friendly. It's a bit of a drive for me to get to this one but well worth it. read more

Also two rough textured fingernails where one cracked and popped off in less than 24 hours. The technician took over two hours to complete the email job after removing the gel polish 3 times due to mishaps in her process. I asked Lisa when I arrived at 10 and was informed she will be here in 10 minutes. An hour later into the pedicure O asked again , she again said 10 mins. 10 mins later two techs arrived and advised Lisa is at the doctor. There was acrylic on one of my toes from the previous week where I asked the tech to provide an overlay on a split nail. I asked her thin it out several times and she either didn't understand or just what she created was acceptable.. this week I asked the tech four times to remove it all together and she seemed displeased at my request and finally removed it force instead of soaking it off. It is a good idea to have technical talent to perform the required skills of the trade in your absence. I would hope to have the great spa I experienced on my first visit with Lisa but this not the case. I was burned by the nail drill and nautical nails damaged by improper drilling as well as left with a gel light under my feet 5 mins after the 50 second dry time. I'm hoping Lisa can redo my nails and correct the issues. Otherwise I am left with no stars for this business rating.
