It's 2026, how does a nail salon that's been open for over 30 years not have cat-eye polish or even neon gel colors yet? Got a pedicure and it was fine, but a bit overpriced for quality. I told my technician I wanted blue with pink accents, but then she starts pushing me to do white flowers and only white flowers on the big toes over the blue base. Then I had to be firm several times that I wanted pink accents. She finally did add them. The white flowers are a bit sloppy, but I was just ready to leave. I guess they're fine? But for $100 before tip, I expect more. read more

Went for a manicure and hot stone pedicure before my vacation. Ended up for less than mediocre service. My toe nails that were painted with regular polished have different colors. My nails on one hand are not the same as the other hand in shape and length. Manicurist are not very experienced (except two or three) don't understand what is being asked and explained. I asked for chrome the lady started putting it on and there were streaks of the dust not the chrome effect. I asked her not to continue and remove it because it was not looking good. After they finished told me to wait 5 minutes less then that there was one of them trying to put my shoes on and I was rushed to wash my hands to pay. I was surprised with the whole mess. Most of the reviews of this nail salon appear to be from the old location as this location (from what I understand) opened earlier in 2023. I am in this area on occasion, so I made an appointment for one Saturday afternoon. The salon is clean, and the staff are nice. They offer the usual complimentary water, wine, and cokes. They have the pedicure chairs packed in so they will do your pedicure first, move you to a table and then do your hands. The place stayed busy the entire time I was there. I thought the prices were a little on the pricey side for the quality but seems most nail salons have gone up in price, so I'll just be a boomer and complain that prices were better back in my day. Another good thing about this salon is this shopping center has plenty of parking, lots of food and shopping places so I usually make an afternoon of it. I would come back! read more

Got the $85 pedicure I wouldn't say you got a spectacular pampering for the price but it came with a few neat perks. Linda did a great job. The gel colors are good not a great selection. The salon was clean and every tool came out of a sealed package. read more

I visited here and did enjoy the service until it came time for the check. I paid while waiting for my mother to be done. They came over after a few minutes and said I actually owed $10 more and could I increase the tip to make up for the discrepancy. Let me just say that I'm not a happy camper about these nails right now. The red is how they looked this morning.....only a tad bit too long for me and I asked Mindy to just take a tiny bit off, I was left with what you see on the right. This was only the 2nd time to see her. And the last. She had me put my fingers in some sort of solution which, basically, melted the acrylic nails that were on there. No new tips were added (clearly). While this color is ok, it's only close to the color I selected, which was a darker, more muted green. I chalked that up to the color board being inaccurate. I don't hate this color. Then, when I got home, and was inspecting her job further, I found spots of polish on my fingertips. Just sloppy. I'm glad I'm not going anywhere special anytime soon. Not only did I get dip for the first time and LOVE my nails Kelly did, more importantly wanted to drop a note to the people working here who kept my wedding rings safe overnight that I completely forgot when I left the spa!!! I didn't realize until late in the evening when they had already closed. I called first thing in the am after freaking out all night and they were so sweet and told me they had them safe and sound and to come get them when I had a chance! There are many establishments where this would have not been the case and my rings would have been long gone. Very thankful and grateful for the honest people that run this spa! After frequenting this establishment for months, with suitable results. This salon is not modernized as far as services and products, but for a working woman's manicure and pedicure, Nails 2000 met my basic needs without incident, until today. Today, August 15, 2021, I walked in and was greeted. I proceeded to fill out the required service request and began to chose my color. I was advised that, although advertised the Name Brand item I wanted, OPI powder and gel color set, was not available. I was given the generic color chart and picked a color close to my desired original choice. The nail tech returned to let me know the substitute choices were empty. I chose another color and began to place my feet in the soak, which at this point was cold. When the tech returned with her supplies, She pointed to my choices on the sheet and began to question me about the prices. I advised her that I get the same services each time I've been there. She then calls another tech over to make sure that I am understanding her. I expressed that I was the one who checked the boxes and was aware of the pricing. At this point, the tech stated again the difference between the manicure and the pedicure and what the sum of the services would be. I politely asked twice - " What exactly are you asking or saying to me?" She responded I want to make sure you are okay to pay. Sadly, no other customer was asked such. I will also say no other customer looked like me at that moment. It's going to take me a while to sort out my feelings - My money is green but questionable when my skin is black. The issue with this salon is that the services are random. I've asked for something and been treated above and beyond and vowed to be more regular. Another time I spent a lot on my myself for the deluxe services and wasn't actually given what a I paid for. I often ask for a neck massage and with get a decent relaxing one, then the next time only one side is worked on and it's horrible, while the technician keeps *telling* me "this will help you" or asking "you feel better?". I'll go back because it's closest to my house, but it will be for basic polish changes. I really wish they were consistent with high-quality service. It seems that many of their nail techs don't understand how to help someone relax, or never had proper training. read more

I can't believe they charge 1.00 per minute for a "classic pedicure" which lasts 30 minutes. I asked for the menu as I paid because the classic is my go-to at any place- no bells and whistles needed, but it seemed odd. I have no memory of a massage or lotion. In fact, my leg is ashy. Twice in the last 6 months I have had bad experiences at Nails 2000. But I like to support my neighborhood businesses. Today I arrived there at 4:15 without an appointment for a pedicure. Instead of telling me up front that they could not take me for almost an hour, I was escorted to a Pedicure chair/bowl to wait. The water was not warm, so I asked for hot water, but it was stone cold before someone came to do my pedicure 45 minutes later. My recommendation to Nails 2000 is to admit there will be a wait and have someone stay in contact with a waiting customer and to at least keep the water warm, bubbly and infused with herbal salts. That small measure would go a long way. This happened to me last summer, and I walked out with wet feet. The pedicures are very good, but customer service sucks. I will not return. read more

Horrible experience getting my nails done today. The lady doing my nails seemed to be in a rush and was not careful at all. I was getting dip powder removed and gel manicure. While removing the dip with the buffer she shredded a chunk out of the tip of one of my nails. She then asks "what are we gonna do about this?" Ummmm... you just demolished it... you fix it. She then placed a tip, evened it out with dip powder and did the gel on top. My one nail is now 8x thicker than all of the rest and looks disgusting. I got white polish and when I got to the car I realized there was a huge black fuzz painted into the polish. Went back in to fix it and all she did was put another layer of polish on top. The manager also made her re-file all of my nails because they were (and still are) all different shapes. Then had to get a new top coat on all of them. Overall terrible experience. My mom and I have been customers of this nail salon for over 10 years. I grew up in the area but now live in downtown Dallas and still make the trip to Nails 2000... even though there are countless nail salons within walking distance of me. Why do I do it? Because it is hands down THE BEST nail salon-from the employees who know you by the sound of your voice when you call to make an appointment, to the quality of service and they are quick! Every time I go I get a gel manicure, deluxe pedicure, eyebrow and lip wax and am out of there in a little over an hour. The prices are also completely fair and my nails last me 2-3 weeks! Jenny is my absolute favorite- she is an expert at natural full eyebrows and is a perfectionist when it comes to the nails.
