About what you would expect when you walk into a loud and overly neoned space. The prices are outrageous, of course, but the real kicker is that you order from a kiosk and then get prompted to leave a tip, and when you look up, the two (TWO!) workers are on their phones. Chef's kiss! Our daughter got the Magic Carpet Ride, which was a pretty good deal for $10 for a small burger and fries. We shared the "GNAR-BE-QUE" ($19 with no sides) and also got some loaded fries and carrot fries. Yes, we were being total fatties after a day of skiing, don't judge! Of course it ended up being way too much food. The burger is pretty good, but the carrot fries were undercooked and the cheese fries were essentially just smothered and became way too soggy. Everything was also super salty. One of us appreciated the spicy margarita and they do have a bunch of beers on draft. This actually would have been a mostly positive review but then we allowed our daughter to get one of those ridiculous milkshakes ($19) and it was downright disgusting. Re. the strawberry milkshake, which was called "Unicorn Toot" (BARF), the actual milkshake portion--aka the heart of the matter--was entirely liquid. Zero element of ice cream or texture and there was so much crap all over it that it was beyond over the top. Cotton candy in a cone plopped on top??! Just WHAT. It's like they came up with the idea with AI it was so dumb. Listen, we had a good time hanging out with a friend there that we randomly met up with at Big Sky, but it seems like there are way better places to eat. We'd skip this place. There must be better places to eat. I hardly ever leave a bad review but this was a total disappointment. Maybe I should have had a burger but that wouldn't have fixed some of the issues anyway. If overpriced burgers and milkshakes are your thing, go for it. I should probably preface this by saying our food was good. But it was also paired with long wait times and messy tables. Upon walking in, you'll notice the ordering window to your right and the dining area to your left. The font on the digital menu can be hard to see from the back of the line. Everything besides your food is self-serve: drinks, condiment area, etc. Actually, they call your number to pick up your food as well so I guess besides the actual cooking, you're in charge here. Which is not necessarily a bad thing but the price point doesn't justify the experience. We were able to grab a table quickly but had to clean it off ourselves. The other empty tables were also a bit messy. That's where the waiting game started. It took over 35 minutes to get our order. Definitely not the place to stop if you're really hungry. They also forgot our truffle fries so we had to wait a bit longer for those. Now, to shed some light on this review, our food was actually pretty tasty. I ordered The Shredder. It was yummy. The burger itself was filling. We probably should've stopped there. I also ordered the chocolate peanut butter paradise milkshake - it was like drinking pure cane sugar from a cup. Seriously, it was so sweet I couldn't even get through half of it. The truffle fries were a great compliment to my burger. Hubby got the Base Layer burger and the Birthday Cake milkshake. He loves his sweets and the milkshake was way too sweet for him as well. Though, he was a fan of his burger. Overall, the food was good but everything else was severely lacking. For about $100 (including our tip), I would much rather spend my time and money on a ribeye that gets served to me. read more

Best burger EVER! We stopped in on the third day of opening and were anxious to try the much needed new burger and shake place in town. Let's just say we were blown away and there was not a crumb left on our plates!! The burgers were uniquely crafted and cooked to perfection. Fries were delicious and the oreo old fashion shake was SO good! I would not say the prices are "Big Sky prices" as nowadays, any burger is in the $16 range and most are not as loaded and delicious as these ones! My fiancé ordered the mac-n-cheese bites as well and he said they were the best he's ever had! I highly recommend the Beehive Burger (named after a favorite local hike!). The staff was super friendly and attentive, it did not seem like this was only the third day open based on how smoothly everything ran! Damn I dont want to hate on a new business in town but the last thing we need is another poorly managed restaurant. I was looking forward to trying a burger and a beer, and being by myself I sat down at the bar. I sat there for about 10 minutes. The bartender walked around, poured 3 people waters, left for a while, came back, poured a soda for someone else, wiped down some counters. The whole time I'm staring at him. Then a manager looking guy comes over and they start chatting. Drying some dishes, etc. I got up and left. Btw there are 8 total seats at this bar. I didn't even get to ask if I could order food at the bar so I have no idea. Likely would have to wait in line since it's counter service. Their tag line is "fries shakes beers". They have 4 total beers on tap, with one being coors light. So if you like $20 "fast casual" (counter service) burgers, no beer selection, and zero service, check this place out. This is by far the best food I've eaten in so long. The food is so delicious it's the elbow dripping good burger. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The food was ok. Nothing great. We got a few burgers. A Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the lunch specials that came with fries. When we received our order they did not include the fries so my husband went to the counter and asked for the fries the gal who also took our order gave him the service receipt and said, "what did you order?" Not knowing how to read restaurant lingo he gave it back and said, "I don't know how to read this," she then looked at the receipt and said you got 3 lunch fries. Not helpful at all. Well cooked, tasty sauce and fairly quick for a ski burger. Otherwise: upcharges.... Over $3.00 to add onions to a burger? Didn't find out til the bill came. The sides is where they kill you. 8 bucks for a "large" very small fry, 8 more for garlic cheese curds that were pretty weak. Industrial ketchup and packets of crystal sauce are not the way to go. Update: we gave this place a second chance. Still not worth it at all. If paying $20 for a cup of whipped cream and a minuscule amount of milkshake is your jam, then this place is for you. I've seen pictures of milkshakes from here that look amazing, however both times I've come we've gotten wimpy milkshakes with barely any toppings.
