Once you enter, very clean (new) and small. Seated quickly and the server came and gave us our menus. Efficient and friendly. The decor was more clean Japanese Sushi bar, not too busy. Just enough to say, "we are an Asian Restaurant ". The Restoom was clean. The menu had everything from Asia, I mean everything. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Thai, even Bubble tea. (Leaning more towards Japanese Sushi.) At first I was concerned as to how authentic the taste would be to each dishes. I was concerned as to how this restaurant will be able to keep the original flavors of such different tastes. I ordered a Ika-Kara-Age (Fried squid) as an appetizer. Laksa and Tonkatsu Ramen as the main meals. Food came out extremely fast and hot. The fried squid had a curry flavor, not disappointed (I know this is a double negative). I was confused as to why the curry flavor. The name of the dish on the menu was definitely Japanese. Excellent taste, good portion and good presentation. If I had a critique, I would like it a little more breading on the squid (very difficult technique to master). The Laksa and Ramen were dead on. Both had its unique flavors. NO WEIRD flavors like in most Ramen places I have visited before. Even Laksa was dead on!!! A very difficult dish to find outside of Singapore, unheard of here in Northeast Ohio let alone in most of the United States. The portions were good, the toppings were good and the prices were more than fair. (A bowl of noodles should not be over $20! ... it's noodles!!! You know, that long thin strands made with flour, water and pinch of salt!!! The cheap dish that everyone went to not so long ago everywhere in the world!!!) This restaurant is a hidden little gem . You will not be disappointed. I definitely was not

She seemed to try to connect with everyone and was happy to explain any menu questions. The food came out quickly and was aesthetically pleasing and in generous portions. The facility is far bigger than I thought it would be. They have a central restaurant with multiple party centers on either side. It's a really BIG facility. New, modern, and quite attractive. With plenty of convenient parking. The wall of the restaurant that faces Cleveland Hopkins Airport is all glass. It affords you quite an impressive view of the airport and the planes landing. The staff we met was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Mina, did an excellent job all night. If there was a weak point, it would be the food. It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". It arrived badly overcooked, crunchy not soft, and even boardering on burnt. The charcuterie board was OK, but uninspired. I ordered the "Lemon Chicken" which was a full half chicken in a reasonably good sauce. But the meat was dry and it came only with brussel sprouts (yuk!). My wife had the "Walleye" which she simply said was "okay"... oh well. Our guests weren't any more impressed than we were. I will say our coffee and "Pot de Creme" were very good... thank goodness. All in all, our overall experience was "meh"... just "meh". Sorry - really probably should be 3.5

We dropped in for Happy Hour, looking for cocktails and a few bites, and were immediately struck by the well-appointed space. The runway views at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport added an unexpected layer of entertainment--watching planes take off and land while toasting 14 years of marital bliss felt like the perfect backdrop. We started strong with a French 75 and an Old Fashioned--both expertly crafted, but that Old Fashioned? Smooth, balanced, and memorable enough to set the tone for the entire evening. Wednesday happens to be Wing Day ($2 whole wings), and we took full advantage. We sampled Buffalo, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, Lemon Pepper Dry Rub, and the undeniable star of the show: Garlic Parmesan. Each had its own personality, but that Garlic Parmesan was simply elite. Service was impeccable--Emily was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our experience flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails. Speaking of which, round two brought a Cosmo alongside a repeat of that Old Fashioned...because when you find the right note, you stay in that key. For food, we shared the French Dip Baguette--shaved prime rib, provolone, horseradish aioli, and au jus done right--and paired it with the Mega Crunch Fries, elevated with sea salt, rosemary, and a light truffle oil drizzle. Simple menu items, executed with intention. We closed the evening the same way we began--together, with one final round of Old Fashioneds. A Happy Hour well spent. A celebration well honored. A 14-year journey still taking off.

I did make a few notes on the day of, so hopefully those suffice! So about 12 others from my foodie group and I dined at Salmon Dave's for a group lunch in April of 2025. The interior is cute and decorated like a fish joint off the coast of Florida. We had made reservations beforehand, but it was clear they were still understaffed. It took a bit too long for our food to arrive. I think we waited about 45 minutes for our mains to arrive. We all munched on the free bread while we waited. The bread was okay - standard white crusty bread. The service was also pretty good. Our waters were always kept pretty full but our waitress wasn't much for conversation - just kept things pretty serious. I ordered fried fish for my main (I am pretty picky about how I like fish prepared). My fried fish dinner was massive! I have never seen a fried fish as big as the one I had at Salmon Dave's. It was good too which is why my review is 4 stars instead of 3 or 3.5 stars. The coleslaw is a liquidy mush of nothing - don't bother getting this. In short, I paid about $40 after tax and tip for my fish fry lunch and while it took a while to arrive and I wasn't impressed with the sides, my friends and I had a good time! I was very impressed with the fish too!

Jeremy was our server, and was friendly, knowledgeable, and handled my gluten allergy without batting an eye. The food? Our selections were off the chain. We started with the deviled eggs - extremely creamy; a little kick; topped with a crisp cornichon. We had 4 different varieties of oysters -- all perfectly chilled and served with both cocktail and a green sauce mignonette, with plenty of lemon. Now for the showstoppers -- I had the N'awklins shrimp and grits. Oh my! The shrimp were nestled on top of the silky cheddar grits, and blackened - seasoned beautifully and cooked just right - not mushy or chewy. But the star? The broth! Tomato based, the depth of flavor was unexpected, and so good, I could have eaten a bowl of just that. My husband had Cioppino, which I could not taste due to GF. His description -- the broth was rich and thick -- not like a typical cioppino broth. It was was chock full of seafood -- very hearty -- with mussels; shrimp; calamari; clams, and just a touch of heat. The bread was also a standout -- baked to order, and then charred. You may want an extra piece of bread, he wants me to tell you! Really -- go to Salty Mary's, ask for Jeremy, and stuff yourself silly. You won't regret it.

The $3.50 oysters were okay, though not especially fresh and poorly shucked (shell fragments left in the liquor).
