We were starving and we pulled up at 2:50 on a Sunday. We noticed they open at 3. We wasted some…read moretime then went in. We were greeted right away and told we could pick our seat. We chose a seat by the window as the sun was shining and we definitely needed the vitamin D. 20 and sunny is crazy work, but us Clevelanders take what we could get. I digress... So the menu...I was debating between the perch and catfish and ultimately chose the catfish. It came with two sides and I chose greens and mac and cheese. Three words: dee lish ous. Lol. But for real, the mac was creamy and chee1sy. The greens were seasoned and joked with our server that somebody's grandma must have made them. Joke was on us. The owner's grandma really did make them. The catfish was seasoned and tasty. We didnt finish our food, so we will have food for today as well which is a plus. For a table of 2, an 18% gratuity was added automatically. I usually tip 18-20% anyway, so i didnt have to do the math. I would absolutely return! I didnt get dessert this time but my guest said the peach cobbler was amazing. I'll try dessert next time, for sure.

Lackluster experience …read more. Was hoping for better, more flavorful food. I wanted the ambiance / vibe to match my dining experience and it just didn't. The food is better elsewhere, like Good Fellas, which isn't much farther away. The drink k had WAS strong so that was a plus but u go to eat FOOD and the food was just disappointing. My soul roll was mainly rife and I didn't like the dip it came with. Service was standard, I wasn't left completely alone but also don't consider myself being waited on. May come back with a group for drinks and conversation but not if I'm hungry. Maybe I tried the wrong dish but I don't think you should have any item on your menu you wouldn't stand behind.

I called to let them know, and the young male cashier who answered the phone acted like I was bothering him. He said he would "go ask the manager what to do," put me on hold, and then hung up on me. When I called back, he hung up again without saying anything. So I drove up there -- even though I didn't really have the time my because fiancé recently had surgery on his leg so I'm taking care of him-- and yet things got even worse. In person, the same cashier cut me off while I was speaking, told me to my face that I was wrong, and said he had already checked the order (which clearly wasn't true). When I tried to explain, he got loud, threw my receipt on the floor, and kept arguing with me in front of other customers. His tone, attitude, and behavior were unbelievably disrespectful and unprofessional. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, stayed calm, and offered to make the missing items for me -- which I appreciated but while speaking with him the cashier would interject with rude, condescending and callous remarks, trying to continue the argument. The cashier placed the bag on the counter and refused to even acknowledge me. He just stared away like I wasn't standing there. The manager saw this too, and ended up moving him to the back room and handing me the food himself. My little sister was also disrespected when she came in to pick up our initial order. He would say "I can't really help you" and would walk away to sit on his phone and put his feet up on the counter. How are you the cashier manning the counter and can't give someone their order?. He gave the same response to another lady as well. We usually go to the Lee's Seafood Boil in Solon. The food is amazing there and the customer service is some of the best I've ever had. While the one on Lee Rd is the exact opposite and they're extremely greasy in comparison. We will never be returning to the Lee Rd location and will forever stick with Lee's In Solon. Manager: 4/5 - respectful, professional, and made it right. Cashier: 0/5 - rude, dishonest, disrespectful, and completely out of line. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. No one deserves to be treated like that. I won't be coming back unless serious changes are made -- starting with that cashier.

Service was amazing as always, and we never had to ask for anything. We tried a few appetizers: calamari, bacon, truffle fries and salads. Everything was delicious, the calamari was especially perfectly light and crispy with cherry peppers. Chef's kiss! All our steaks and sides were cooked perfectly, though we felt the steaks could have been seasoned more. We had filets and a strip. Sides were all delicious: mashed, truffle fries, creamed spinach, and Brussels sprouts. Will definitely return to this location if I'm in the area again

Unfortunately, it just does not feel like the same place anymore. First, the addition of high tops really changes the atmosphere. What once felt upscale and classic now leans more "sports bar with expensive steaks." Maybe that is just me, but part of the appeal was the elegance and experience. Then came the steaks. We ordered three expensive steaks medium, and before they even came out, the waiter realized the kitchen heard "well done." We politely asked for it to be corrected before the food hit the table. Somehow, one still arrived well done anyway. Thankfully, someone at the table took one for the team and ate it, but when dinner runs around $600, you hope the steaks and the temperatures are both memorable for the right reasons. At one point, a side dish was dropped on the floor. Accidents happen, no big deal. But we did have to gently clarify that yes, we would still like the dish... just preferably not the "farm to floor" version. The disappointing part is that I had promised a fantastic worker and his amazing wife a really special night out. This unfortunately was not it. I genuinely hope this was just an off night, because this place used to set the standard. For now though, we will probably try another steakhouse next time.

Located on Noble Road right across the street from Nela Park I have passed by the Columbo Room…read morequite frequently and have been meaning to give it a try. Being nearby on a day off at lunch time I figured I would give Columbo Room a try. Parked in the small lot in the back and entered through the back door, the place is smaller then I thought, just wide enough for a bar on one side and tables on the other side. Columbo Room is your classic old school dive bar; dark with the bar taking up most of the North side of the room, with a small kitchen area next to it. The main feature is the large mirror behind the bar. The bartender was friendly welcoming me and bantering with the regulars. The menu is two sided pretty much your standard soul food influenced with an extra page of specials that include wings and various philly sandwiches. On the advise of the bartender I ordered the catfish fillet dinner. The dinner was 2 large catfish fillets fried with a nice breading, served with a large portion of fries, a small cup of slaw and a couple of pieces of bread. The catfish was excellent, moist and slightly sweet with a great flavor and the breading was perfectly seasoned. The fries were nicely fried and then seasoned on the grill so that they were tasty as can be. The bread and slaw were ok, enough to use to make a sandwich with one of the fillets. Overall a good sized meal for 12.99, prepared fresh. Both the catfish and the fries were extra tasty since Columbo Room is not afraid to season its food. I will be back to eat at Columbo Room again, I want to try the Shrimp Philly Sandwich and will certainly get the catfish again. Nothing fancy, but a great place to get some good solid, well prepared and seasoned food. If you are in the area give it a try.
