Okay when in Cleveland/Strongsville area where should go to eat? Breweries etc well we found a place that was even better. Seafood Shake and Boil is a hidden gem. Jenissa, our server was fantastic and even more, her prompt service and smile got us in before Happy Hour ended. The whole time we were treated with her kindness and care. Her number one motto is keep your smile and leave with a smile.

    Homemade deserts, most excellent!

Holy moly what a joint! Came in on a Friday night. Was enthusiastically met at the door and seated at a table. Waitress, who turned out to be as nice as could be, came to explain the menu and take our drink order. We ordered Combo E, with king crab, scallops, shrimp and sausage in their 'medium spiced' house sauce. The sauce was great, but not spiced much at all. The king crab was nicely sliced on one side so you could get to the crab meat without puncturing an artery pulling it apart. Shrimp and scallops were shrimp and scallops. Surpsingly, the beef sausage was really good. They give you bibs, and you need it! The menu has colored pictures of the cocktails that look like they clipped them off the Internet. No way could they make a drink look as good as the picture, but they did. Ordered the Mexico Street and it could have been the poster child for the menu! Wife got a frozen strawberry pineapple lemonade that was also picture perfect and tasty as heck. But if good wasn't good enough, our server talked us into trying their homemade desert. Had a slice of tiramusu that was worth coming in for all on its own. Can't wait for the boy to come home for a weekend so we can go hog wild on this place!

    Calamari, meh, ok.

We tried this place tonight as we observe no meat friday. We ordered calamari, crab Rangoons, salmon platter, lobster bisque, and fries. Calamari wasn't great but ok. Crab Rangoons were light and crispy with a delicious spicey sauce. Lobster bisque was nice. Salmon platter was lovely. Fries, we didn't need but they were yummy. Our waitress Brittany was super. Restaurant is clean and friendly. Prices are good.

These are the teeny tiny clams. They were about 10 in total and they call this a 1/2 pound on their menu. It's no wonder we left hungry.

Avoid this restaurant and save your hard earned money. I brought my wife here for her birthday because we've been to similar restaurants and really enjoyed them. We really wanted to like this one because it's close to home, but In this case, the Strongsville location is absolutely terrible... which also explains why it was almost completely empty on a Friday night at 7pm. The seafood was really over cooked, rubbery and the portions were tiny, but our bill total wasn't at close to $150. We both really love seafood, but sadly both of us left the restaurant hungry due to the portion size, which is really sad considering we each ordered a $40 meal + an app to share. We asked to speak with a manager and very politely explained our disappointment, but she came to our table, spoke very broken english and said "seafood is very expensive right now", which also explains why the prices on their menu were scribbled out and rewritten in permanent marker or plastered over with a label printer at a new restaurant. Please understand, we weren't looking for a free meal, just a good experience and we hoped that they might do something to make my wife's birthday dinner right. She refused to do anything, not even comp a dessert or something for my wife, or a 10% discount or even a small discount on a next meal to get us to come back. She simply reminded me that "seafood is very expensive right now", as if that were justification for using teeny, tiny clams, shrimp and tiny little overcooked snow crab clusters. Not even an apology. Take a look at the size of the clams next to this normal size lemon wedge in the photo. There are actually 2 there and of the 10 total quarter sized clam shells with the dime sized meat inside, it doesn't come close to the 1/2 pound it claims you get on the menu. Our waiter on the other hand was great and tipped very well for his service. He clearly he felt bad, but there was nothing he could do with the poorly run restaurant and terrible management/customer service except to feel bad. We certainly won't be back and I would be surprised if they last more than a few months with customer service like that.

So delicious! Drinks, meals, desserts and my kid had a blast. Bartender and hostess were great. Thank you and definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Well seasoned but overcooked shellfish. It's not necessarily a good thing when the corn on the cob is more tender than the crab legs.

Once you enter, very clean (new) and small. Seated quickly and the server came and gave us our menus. Efficient and friendly. The decor was more clean Japanese Sushi bar, not too busy. Just enough to say, "we are an Asian Restaurant ". The Restoom was clean. The menu had everything from Asia, I mean everything. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Thai, even Bubble tea. (Leaning more towards Japanese Sushi.) At first I was concerned as to how authentic the taste would be to each dishes. I was concerned as to how this restaurant will be able to keep the original flavors of such different tastes. I ordered a Ika-Kara-Age (Fried squid) as an appetizer. Laksa and Tonkatsu Ramen as the main meals. Food came out extremely fast and hot. The fried squid had a curry flavor, not disappointed (I know this is a double negative). I was confused as to why the curry flavor. The name of the dish on the menu was definitely Japanese. Excellent taste, good portion and good presentation. If I had a critique, I would like it a little more breading on the squid (very difficult technique to master). The Laksa and Ramen were dead on. Both had its unique flavors. NO WEIRD flavors like in most Ramen places I have visited before. Even Laksa was dead on!!! A very difficult dish to find outside of Singapore, unheard of here in Northeast Ohio let alone in most of the United States. The portions were good, the toppings were good and the prices were more than fair. (A bowl of noodles should not be over $20! ... it's noodles!!! You know, that long thin strands made with flour, water and pinch of salt!!! The cheap dish that everyone went to not so long ago everywhere in the world!!!) This restaurant is a hidden little gem . You will not be disappointed. I definitely was not

Service was pleasant but very slow. Really enjoyed my cocktails. Brussel sprout appetizer also delicious Burger 2/10. Ordered medium, arrived well done-- dare I say, burnt. Bun was so charred I pulled the dry patty off and doused in ketchup. What was most concerning to me was that in the 90 minutes we were seated I watched two glasses get broken behind the bar, over top of the ice bin. The ice bin was never emptied. This is basic protocol per health department and osha safety procedures. I sincerely hope that the management sees this and uses this opportunity to retrain staff on protocol--- as a public health practitioner who has spent many years in hospitality this is a huge red flag.

We ordered three appetizers and four entrées, and every dish missed the mark. The mussels arrived with cold broth, the wings were slightly undercooked and cold, and the shrimp appetizer was only lukewarm. I ordered the special -- a brisket sandwich -- and the meat tasted more like thin roast beef, dry enough that even the barbecue sauce couldn't help. The fries on the side were cold and soggy. The only reason this isn't a one-star review is because the bartender/server was genuinely fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and the bright spot of our visit. The live music and atmosphere were also great. But the food was incredibly disappointing, and I wouldn't come back to eat here again.

Very tasty and well prepared, she was happy and had plenty of leftovers. I recently enjoyed their NY Strip, cooked perfectly to medium rare with sides of asparagus and mushroom risotto. Delicious! We're been there many times but have never tried dessert because the meals are so filling. Drink menu is very good with plenty of wines and beer plus a full bar.
