I call on the phone and they already know who I am and what I like to order, salmon rice bowl with no sauce. The service is top-notch. They are always making sure that it's done right or even show me my food before they put it in the bag to make sure that I'm satisfied and if not, they will make it right which they never had to do that and I just love it. I hear other items on the menu is really good too especially their wings. However I have not tried them personally because once I had this, it was just no way that I could give anything else a chance.

We had a 20 minute wait which is totally understandable on a busy Friday night as a walk in. We sat and waited for our food. I was so hungry, I forgot to take a picture before I tried my food. My catfish dinner was fried to my liking, the fries are fresh cut and so delicious. My hushpuppies was delicious. My family tried the polish boy and the steak Philly and we all ate in silence. The portion size was great. We all have food left over. I can't wait to return. It just might be my new favorite small food point. It is black owned as well. I didnt get a dessert this time, because self control but next time, I'm going all in...lol. Great job Teedeez!

I called to let them know, and the young male cashier who answered the phone acted like I was bothering him. He said he would "go ask the manager what to do," put me on hold, and then hung up on me. When I called back, he hung up again without saying anything. So I drove up there -- even though I didn't really have the time my because fiancé recently had surgery on his leg so I'm taking care of him-- and yet things got even worse. In person, the same cashier cut me off while I was speaking, told me to my face that I was wrong, and said he had already checked the order (which clearly wasn't true). When I tried to explain, he got loud, threw my receipt on the floor, and kept arguing with me in front of other customers. His tone, attitude, and behavior were unbelievably disrespectful and unprofessional. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, stayed calm, and offered to make the missing items for me -- which I appreciated but while speaking with him the cashier would interject with rude, condescending and callous remarks, trying to continue the argument. The cashier placed the bag on the counter and refused to even acknowledge me. He just stared away like I wasn't standing there. The manager saw this too, and ended up moving him to the back room and handing me the food himself. My little sister was also disrespected when she came in to pick up our initial order. He would say "I can't really help you" and would walk away to sit on his phone and put his feet up on the counter. How are you the cashier manning the counter and can't give someone their order?. He gave the same response to another lady as well. We usually go to the Lee's Seafood Boil in Solon. The food is amazing there and the customer service is some of the best I've ever had. While the one on Lee Rd is the exact opposite and they're extremely greasy in comparison. We will never be returning to the Lee Rd location and will forever stick with Lee's In Solon. Manager: 4/5 - respectful, professional, and made it right. Cashier: 0/5 - rude, dishonest, disrespectful, and completely out of line. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. No one deserves to be treated like that. I won't be coming back unless serious changes are made -- starting with that cashier.

I met a friend for breakfast this morning, and everything from start to finish was spot on. I ordered the Sweet Jalapeño Sandwich: an English muffin piled with jam, bacon, an egg cooked over medium, and cheddar, served with home fries. It was the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and just a little kick. My friend stuck with her usual: the Banana & Bourbon Caramel Bread Pudding French Toast, topped with fresh bananas and their homemade bourbon caramel sauce, plus a side of pork belly. It looked incredible and, according to her, tasted just as good as it always does. We arrived just a few minutes after they opened at 8:00 and were seated right away. The service was friendly, attentive, and very prompt without feeling rushed. Scratch has such a great casual, local diner feel, but with a menu that's anything but ordinary. The portions are generous, the flavors are unique, and the quality is consistently excellent. Definitely a go-to spot for breakfast or brunch...you really can't go wrong here.

White walls, glass windows in front, a few things hung on the walls. Not fancy, but pleasant. Very clean. The food is phenomenal. I've been dreaming about their biscuits and gravy since my last visit. Still perfect. The home fry-style potatoes are what a lot of places try to serve but fail at miserably. They are crispy AND fluffy! Yum! My scrambled eggs were not at all greasy or oily. My iced tea was delicious and refreshing. My lovely wife had the chorizo hash, which I tried. Oh, my. So good. And the chipotle crema on top was just perfect. They have excellent diner coffee here as well. My service experience was immaculate the first time and just OK today. He was fine initially, but I feel like he kind of forgot about us after he checked on our food. We were stuck way in the back. Maybe he was on a break, which is fine. I spent time as a waiter in two different restaurants, so I'm sympathetic, but I did not get a drink refill, and I wanted one pretty badly. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots, and it feels like a hidden gem.

Updating my review…read more We were greeted with a smile and welcome as soon as we entered. The lady working the register was Zarena by the name on my receipt. There was only two people inside when we ordered. There were lots of people that came in while we waited for our food and picked up to go orders. First strike, we placed our order and was told they were out of crayfish for the grilled cheese, they were out of lamb and also out of water. We could see two bottled water in the cooler, but didnt push the issue when we were told they were out. I asked for ice tap water and was told they didn't have that. No biggie. We were going to eat in since it started raining but decided to do it take out, since we couldnt drink anything. Strike 2: the wait!!! The first time we came here was in 2024 when they were newly opened and remembered a wait then, but chalked it up to being a new establishment. We ordered at 7:11 and didnt get our order until 8:03. Strike 2 1/2 We realized at 741 that we were still waiting and inquired about hold time and was told 5-10 more minutes. Well it took more like another 20-25. At 8pm, my family decided if our order wasnt next, we would ask for a refund. Luckily, for them, we were next. Now the food: we ordered a perch dinner, a chicken rasta pasta and a Sweet chili Thai parm shrimp dish with fries. The rasta pasta was supposed to be spicy and was not at all. It was decent and rated a 7/10. The perch dinner and Thai dinner were both rated an 8/10 by my family. Be warned: Prices are increasing 4/13 per the signage. This is due to rising prices for food. I am uncertain if we will return, but if we do we will call ahead or order on an off day. I get that Saturdays are busy, but this area has too many restaurants for us to wait almost 1 hour for a fairly simple order. We did receive an apology that they were out of items we attempted to order. I feel like because they have a dining room, they should have drinks on hand. I dont know if they were short staffed in the kitchen or if they got slammed with online orders or a combination of the two. The dining area was clean and the televisions had closed caption so you could follow the action or any TV you chose.

While visiting the east side, I stopped at hooked at the behest of some nurses. I ordered a five piece chicken wings with barbecue sauce, macaroni and cheese and one piece of catfish. The wings were on point, flavor, on point. Macaroni and cheese was just okay. If in the area, go ahead stop by. You won't be disappointed. Four stars easy. Let me edit, I took a second to take more than a nibble off of the catfish and Let me tell you that catfish is the truth, breaded and seasoned perfectly. I might add an extra star if I can. Yep, I did. The chicken was amazing and the catfish was amazing. The light was on my phone, so the wings were a bit brighter than normal in the picture
