Happy New Year! What a delightful celebration with such good people. Rang in the new year with good friends, great service, beautiful music, and an impeccable meal. Doc's never disappoints but we will for sure be back for dinner, brunch, and more celebrations!

This is a great new restaurant in the Lee Harvard area of southeast Cleveland. We went for Easter brunch, which was a prix fixe menu with a couple of pre-selected entree choices. The restaurant is intimate and the service is attentive. We enjoyed each course, including the beautiful appetizer of salmon and fresh potato "chips" , the multi-salad options, and the entree of shrimp and grits. The one aspect that kept the experience from being a 5-star occasion was the length of time to complete the service. Hopefully as the restaurant matures they will be able to shorten the length of service. Looking forward to returning for another meal!

GREAT experience at Doc's on Harvard! The food and service, were outstanding. Girl's night out, my turn to choose, I chose Doc's! We were warmly welcomed upon entering the restaurant. The restaurant is owned and operated by husband William Walker and wife(Chef Kolnita). They took the time to introduce themselves, and learn each of our names. We placed drink orders, and reviewed the menu. We started with the southern fusion rolls, Moroccan shrimp, and seafood cake, as our first course. Second course, we had the table side Caesar salad, and for our entrees, we ordered 2 chicken dinners and 1 pork chop dinner. Everything was served hot and fresh. Our water glasses were never empty, fresh silverware between courses. The food was generously portioned, and perfectly seasoned. We ended our visit with the house dessert, warm banana bread, drizzled with caramel sauce, topped with ice cream and whipped cream. Throughout our visit, Mr. Walker entertained us with stories about the history of the building, the neighborhood and his family. Chef Kolnita, checked on us throughout the meal. We REALLY enjoyed our visit, and looking forward to returning...soon!

The food was very good, it had a nice ambiance, perfect for a date night. I also enjoyed how the owner gave a history of how the business was established.

A wonderful surprise .. If you're looking for an intimate dinner or a small gathering, this is the perfect way to celebrate.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner at Doc's last night. The atmosphere was stunning. Food was delicious and the Chef and staff went above and beyond to make our experience one of a kind. I can't wait to go for brunch!!

Rack of Lamb: I forgot to take the picture until I was half done, oops!

I had a lovely dinner at Doc's. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and the food was great. The place has a lot of history behind it, and a lot of love. I started with the Chicken and Shrimp Gumbo, which was very tasty. Enough spice to be interesting but not so much as to be challenging. For a main course I couldn't decide between the rack of lamb and the fried chicken, so I ended up getting both. I restrained myself and only had half of each, so I can have the rest tonight! I finished off with the Hui Ho dessert, which was banana bread, ice cream, and house made caramel sauce. Yum!

Thank you Doc's for one of the most delicious and delightful birthday dinners ever!

Eight (!) years ago my friend recommended her favorite place - The Fairmount. She emphasized that…read morethe ambiance and cocktails are something to experience. Eight years worth of Fairmount moments later, this review is well overdue. AMBIANCE: The ambiance allows you to slow down and enjoy your company. The restaurant is dim lit, has fireplaces, and loungey atmosphere. It somehow feels warm and I heard a lot of people refer to it as a second home (people are always so friendly here!). There is ample space - three bars, main dining space, and huge outdoor oasis bar. Nestled in Cedar Fairmount neighborhood, you'll also be able to enjoy historic neighborhood. There are seating arrangements if you're craving company or want to enjoy your date. Seating options include couches by the fireplace, tables, and high tops. Fairmount is delightful during every season. During the summer you can enjoy the bar and patio. In the winter you can dine at the igloos. I prefer all seasons here. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu at Fairmount is impressive and has exciting seasonal/weekly additions. You'll never get bored. The cocktails here are refined, very boozy, and very well crafted. The food is seriously delicious, and consistent every single time. I've been impressed with every dish. The dishes and drinks frequently follow the seasons. During my latest visit I enjoyed Butter Pecan Warm Cider with bourbon ($12, so bold and boozy, tastes like fall). I also ordered Fig Trouble Little China ($15, a more rich version of Old Fashioned, so delicious). I also tasted Short Rib & Risotto for the very first time ($28, such a delicious dish, every bite was just amazing). My favorites? Ah, so hard! I'll go with the Fairmount Burger! It's angus beef burger with bacon-fig chutney. It's so delicious! I can't even be serious about meat at the other burger places, this is easily the best burger in the city. My seasonal favorite? Kevin McCallister seasonal drink that resembles coquito or eggnog. The drink is topped with rice paper that includes the design of Kevin from Home Alone. It's such a fun tradition! I look forward to this drink all year and always tell the world about it! SERVICE: The service is excellent. I haven't been anywhere where service is right on point every single time. Everyone is nice - the owner, hosts, and waitstaff. You truly feel seen and like the most important guest. I've visited previously while on dates and frequently dine here solo, always had the most pleasant service. EVENTS: Many people book events here for their non-profits or companies. As far as individual events, Fairmount hosts a fun NYE party every year! PARKING: Onsite parking lot is available at the back of the building. You can enter through the front doors on Cedar or right through the parking lot door. There are numerous reasons why I love the Fairmount. I consider it to be the best dining experience in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. I also love how the owner Jake is very engaged in the community and is incredibly friendly with the surrounding business owners. I'll choose this place again and again for calming ambiance, crafted cocktails, and delicious food. To many more years of Fairmount and at Fairmount!

The food was outstanding across the board, and the service was attentive, professional, and on point throughout the evening. The only minor hiccup involved our seating. We had reserved a table on the patio, which is usually the perfect place to dine. Unfortunately, the weather turned out to be a bit cooler than expected. By the time we were finishing our main courses, it had become too cold to fully enjoy the outdoor setting. We had inquired earlier about moving inside, but the restaurant was unable to accommodate us at that time due to capacity. Thankfully, they were able to find us a table indoors for dessert, which we greatly appreciated. That turned out to be the perfect ending to the evening, as the desserts were every bit as impressive as the rest of the meal. Overall, this was an excellent dining experience with outstanding food and service. The weather was the only thing that kept it from being absolutely perfect, and the staff did their best to make things right. We would happily return.

Interesting mix of textures and flavors. Pretty good but probably wouldn't get again. 3.5/5 The staff mentioned that the red curry mussels ($17) was a popular dish, and it was the favorite of the night. I usually don't like mussels but the sauce was super flavorful and the mussels were tender. 5/5 Never had a bone-in pork schnitzel ($42) and while it was pricey, it was quite the size. Definitely couldn't finish all of it, so had leftovers to take back. 4/5 Service was decent, good recommendations. Small cozy atmosphere. Parking available as free street parking. Overall a little pricey but nice food in a cozy place.

It really feels like you're stepping into Italy and offers a cozy and warm vibe. It's connected to its partner restaurant, Barocco, which is Latin cuisine and can be ordered inside La Pecora if you choose to. The food at La Pecora was great, they offer a wide array of cocktails and flavor options for pizzas and salads. You definitely are not getting your traditional and basic flavor options here for pizza but they do it very well. The pizza is thin and with a lot of toppings can be a bit floppy but that's typical. It has a great crust and I appreciate being able to see the pizza going into the pizza fired oven to get the great crust! Everything was delicious and the complimentary bread was PHENOMENAL. Tasted like a mix of garlic bread and pizza but elevated. The service was also fantastic, the woman who took care of us was taking care of the bar as well as all the tables. She did great and was super knowledgeable of the entire menu and bar. All the cocktails were great and looked just like the photos! Overall, La Pecora Pizzzabar is a great place to gather and eat some good food. Thin pizza which will leave you satisfied and not feeling heavy, while also offering a wide array of bold flavors and options for salads, appetizers and cocktails. Definitely stop in if you are in the area (or if you're not!)

This neighborhood is one of my favorites because of the hidden gems quietly tucked in this residential area. I know they serve food, but we just came for drinks. It was very busy during the week about 6pm. We were able to sit at the bar. The bar was filled with regulars, most of whom were friends with the bartender. She was not enjoying her job this night and appeared stressed sounded annoyed. She did make us drinks and warmed up slightly, but I hate feeling like you're putting the staff out just by ordering a drink off the menu. We ordered an Alligator Lounge and Yada Yads. Both tasty.
