I hired Blessed Electrical (Jacob Garner) to replace an electrical panel and stop persistent breaker trips. Work was done August 25-30, 2025, based on a $1,500 quote. After the job I continued to have breaker trips and became concerned, so I had a licensed electrician inspect the work. The licensed electrician found multiple safety and code issues that required immediate repair: reused old breakers in the new panel, an unclean and painted panel, no fire protection around the feeder entrance, and a grounding wire not connected to the grounding bus (5 total violations of the National Electric Code). I paid $1,660 to a different, properly licensed contractor to correct those issues and an additional $1,260 to upgrade outlets to GFCI for safety -- a total of $2,920 to fix the job. When I checked his license, I discovered it had been suspended since February 29, 2024. I showed him a screenshot on September 4, 2025, and he acknowledged in writing that his license was not active and it had not been for over a year. Blessed Electric proceeded to reactivate his license after being called out and demanded payment 3x of the original quote. Following this, I received repeated and unwanted communications from him that caused me serious concern. I documented those interactions and reported them to the police and the Contractors State License Board. I previously included photos and details showing examples of the electrical issues and license status. That evidence was removed by Blessed Electric due to Yelp's moderation process: PHOTOS TO AVOID (Will Likely Get Removed) Even if they're true or part of your evidence, these can trigger Yelp's moderation filters: Screenshots of text messages or emails Considered private communication -- Yelp removes for "personal dispute." Court or police documents - Yelp flags legal paperwork and case numbers as "posting personal/legal info." I have inspection reports, photographs of the panel installation and repairs, invoices from the licensed contractor who corrected the work, proof of the CSLB complaint I filed, and official court documents related to a civil harassment restraining order that was granted. These records substantiate my experience, and I'm happy to provide verification if needed as well as public court records. I also have MANY photos of text messages showing why my civil harassment restraining order was granted and the personal messages showing all the National Electric Code violations committed by Jacob / Blessed Electric and him admitting guilt on not having an active license while performing electrical work. I strongly suggest everyone avoid Jacob / Blessed Electric. read more

Corrosion on the service drop leading to my house caused the electricity to go haywire late one night, and PG&E needed me to secure the conduit leading from the meter box to the weatherhead before they could make the repairs and turn my power back on. Thanks to Jacob, I was able to get power restored within 24 hours. He showed up at the house quickly and was prepared with any supplies he might need. He installed struts on the house and secured the conduit with brackets. His quote was reasonable, and even after he was done, he stayed in case PG&E wanted him to make modifications. Such a magnificent service. Great attention to detail, timely (even answered on Sat and attended the problem within an hour), and great personality to deal with. I recommend the Blessed electric to anyone in need of an electrician. The vanity light installed by our previous electrician contractor which was installed only 9 years ago using plastic box, broke and let go of the light rolling over the vanity mirror. Blesses electric secured a piece of wood behind the sheetrock and installed a metallic shallow box avoiding the brass plumbing and secured the light perfectly. Fantastic job and customer support well deserves 5+ rating. read more

Jacob is excellent. We got him to do a few things and he did them all well and on time. 1. Subpanel for a hot tub 2. Subpanel for a pool heater 3. Installation of a pool heat 4. EV charger His work was clean, as advertised and timely. The quote was reasonable and he did not go a penny above what he quoted. I even had some random electric stuff at the house that needed work and he not only gave me his opinion but he fixed it too. I have more stuff to do and will definitely have him come back to do it. He is a licensed electrician so there's a lot of peace of mind knowing things were done right. He even talked to some of my other friends who are contractors to bounce ideas off of them. Blessed Electric was recommended to us by Paradise Valley Spa when we ordered our swim spa. Jacob was very responsive and knowledgeable in explaining what was required for installing a swim spa and the Cavana Legend cover. He provided us more details and insights than the spa vendor. He and his team did a wonderful job in laying out conduits, installing a new electrical box with a outdoor post, and hooking up the swim spa. In additional, he was very patient with us since we had to wait about 6 month for our swim spa to be delivered for the final hook up connection. He also did a wonderful job in installing outdoor lights and electrical outlets for an outdoor shed. We highly recommend Jacob for the value and excellent work he provides. read more

Jacob was absolutely fantastic in helping us run a 220/50amp electrical line from the front of our house to the back of the house for a new jacuzzi that we purchased from Pacific Coast Sauna and Spa. This was not an easy job for our type of house out here in the avenues of San Francisco. Jacob was wonderful in his communication and delivering on EVERYTHING that he promised...AND, at a very competitive rate. He adjusted his schedule to work with the limited time that we were available at the house due to my mother's illness that kept us having to continually change dates on him. Jacob was generous, thoughtful and respectful throughout the entire process. He helped us with getting the jacuzzi set up and dialed in as well. I would absolutely recommend him! read more

Jacob is highly qualified and passionately dedicated to his craft. I've had him help me with two jobs at my house in San Mateo, CA now and would recommend him for the quality of his work, his professionalism, and attention to detailed craftsmanship. We were using an extension cord for our sprinkler timer which was now only a fire hazard, but a tripping hazard with the kids so I asked Jacob if he could install some outlets near the timer using some pre-existing conduit. The results are amazing and Jacob spent quality time to do the job right, going over and above what I expected. Jacob is awesome!!! We were referred to him by Paradise Valley Spas when we purchased out hot tub. He was very prompt in his response and offered to come out and survey the situation very quickly. He came over to start the work as soon as the permit was issued, and had the whole job done inside of one afternoon. His work was super clean and we were up and running! We are so thankful for Jacob. My daughter received a hot tub thru Make a wish. The electrical work done (by a different electrician/company) didn't get the hot tub running. Knowing my daughter has been waiting a month to get in this tub in our yard Pacific Coast Spa and Sauna asked Jacob to come over last minute. Jacob dropped everything and was here within an hour. Him and his partner were very kind and knowledgeable. They explained what they were doing and showed me what they were doing as well. In just a short time they got the tub up and running and even filled it for us. My daughter is so excited. We are so so grateful for the generosity and kindness of Blessed Electric. I hired Jacob to run an electrical for a hot tub, about 40 ft away from the main panel. His quote was competitive, bit higher than other bids but that's understandable as he specializes in hot tub. He did everything up-to code and he was very flexible with my schedule as I had major remodeling going on and he was very considerate to work around my schedule and finish the job in multiple phases.
