I had to rewire a light fixture to go from fluorescent to LED. Arkadiy responded to my request immediately on Yelp, asked some questions, gave me a fixed flat rate quote, and even let me schedule an appointment without leaving the app. Extremely convenient. When he showed up, he was able to do the work quickly, and have everything working in no time. No wonder he has great reviews. read more

I worked with Arkadiy on many projects for the office and home. Always on time, transparent, and up to the point. We passed the inspection with flying colors. I heard the inspector multiple times rated his work as "fantastic." His work aligns with the PG&E Electric and Gas Service Requirements (Greenbook), and many recent changes have occurred. I highly recommend him for any electrical work. read more

Good for small jobs but that's it. I made the mistake of having canned lights installed and was very unhappy with the outcome. Work was done hastily. There were 3 unnecessary holes put in my wall and that's unacceptable. I asked to match/get close to the same canned lights in the kitchen. The ones installed were larger and cheap looking. They also dim and flicker. My messages have been met with "i have flu" and "i'm on vacation". How pathetic. read more

I had high hopes for Arkadiy based on the reviews here, but was unfortunately not so lucky. After coming by to estimate the job we scheduled a date two weeks out. A couple hours before our scheduled time I messaged Arkadiy to confirm. He said he might be an hour late. No further word, but he showed up five hours late and said it was too late and we'd need to reschedule. I asked for the following day, but he said we had to book out a week. Today I messaged him again two hours before planned arrival. He responded he couldn't make it today. I asked if we could do tomorrow as we have guests in town next week. He replied that tomorrow would not work and he had availability next week (exactly when I said we couldn't do the work). So, my experience is one of poor communication and missed appointments. I hope you have better luck. read more

Awesome guy. 6 out of 5. Got my job done within the hour and charged lesser than everybody else. Was honest and genuine about other suggestions. Having him.bavk for more. read more

We called Arkadiy about an outlet that had gone dead. His first question on the phone was had I checked the circuit breaker -- so that we wouldn't have to pay for him to come out if it were a simple fix (but I had tried that). He came the next morning and analyzed the source of the problem to find that it was a broken housing and wire on the roof. He installed a temporary fix, gave us a very reasonable quote to install a more permanent fix, and came back in a few days to finish the work. He suggested that we think about any other electrical problems he could take care of while he would be coming for the roof work. I especially appreciate that he is clear about costs; comes promptly; sends text updates about his ETA; and is an expert at analyzing and fixing the problem at a reasonable price. I would definitely call him for future needs and recommend him to my friends. read more

I think Arkadiy is a nice guy and he did a great job on a couple small jobs I had that needed fixing. He was great with communication, came when we agreed upon, and price was what he quoted. He is down to earth and knowledgeable about his work. I would definitely use him again for future electrical needs. read more

Couple of days ago Arkadiy witnessed it when another driver cut in my lane and hit me. Just out of sense of right, he volunteered to pull over with us to tell me he could testify for me if necessary. And his help turned out to be critical. I will not hesitate recommending Arkadiy to any one who wants to work with a descent and trustworthy contractor. And I personally will use his service for sure if I have the needs. read more

I'm glad I called / Yelped around until I found Arkadiy. All I needed was a 240v outlet put into my garage about 1ft from my switch/breaker box. Most electrical shops in the South Bay were charging $500 for this work - once they found out that I was doing this to install an EV charger, they felt compelled to gouge me on price. Arkadiy did the work quickly and in a high quality fashion - all for a very fair price. I would definitely use him again for my home electrical needs. read more

Arkadiy was able to come by and install a Sense energy monitoring system in my electrical panel. He was efficient, friendly and the price was very reasonable. read more

We hired Arkadiy to improve our home and he did a terrific job, on time, and on budget. We had him - install new light switches on the wall - install new light fixtures on the ceiling - hide cables underground between our home and the garage - install a LED light in the shower - connect outlets to the ground in the living room and more. His fee was fair and he had good ideas on how to improve our installation. We will hire him again. read more

I had a problem at my house, three rooms upstairs are out of power. I got an electrician came over, he spent a couple hours and did not find out exactly where it disconnected. Then I got one of my friends referred Arkadiy to me. When he came over, I can feel he is sharp and systematic. It seems to be a hard problem to solve initially, but Arkadiy got it all figured out eventually. Very impressive. (The previous electrician told me he might have to open the wall to trace down the lines. Then it will become a big project.) I am so happy Arkadiy came and helped me. The work is done professionally. The price is very reasonable. Now I know when I need any electrical work to be done, whom should I turn to. Thank you Arkadiy, read more

Seemed not interested in really solving my other electrical problem (sump pump), because he felt he may get dirty. Charged me $80 for 10 min work. He just rewired my GFCI. I don't recommend read more

We used Arkadiy several times. He is very reliable, provides clear estimates, does very good job and is very thorough. The best part is that he always has great suggestions, most of which saved us some money and resulted in major improvements. I can recommend Arkadiy for small and large jobs equally. read more

We have Arkadiy installed lights and vents for our home. He is very knowledgeable and careful. Everything that he has done is working very well and I couldnt complain. He is also very honest and he will not try to lure you around. Very professional and affordable. I always text him at least a day ahead to confirm appointment, because lets face it...the need for good electricians is very high, and sometimes they do get very busy. We're very happt with him and I'd recommend him to a friend. read more

Found him through Yelp and he gave us a timely estimate and a reasonable quote. I replaced about 20 regular switches to smart switches, including fixing a few wall plates, which he completed in a couple of hours. What I specifically liked about him is that he was honest about the effort/costs and never once up-sold his services through expensive solutions. He was also very pleasant to work with, with a calm and professional demeanor. I think we've found our go-to guy for all our future electrician needs. read more

Quick response, fixed everything quickly with no hassle. Gave good advice for possible future upgrades.

Good guy very professional and cool. He did some cable wiring for me, it was a tough job, he was careful not to make a mess on my white carpet and on the walls. When he left I could find a mark or dirt anywhere. His price was also reasonable, I will strongly recommend him. read more

Horrible electrical business. The owner and staff we're not very professional. Ask them very detailed questions about residential and Commercial work. they did not know half of the answers. I noticed that they were using a lot of workers that seemed to be more of Labor workers than professional electricians. When I checked into recommendations from other customers they all said that they were very dissatisfied. I would highly recommend to seek a qualified company with higher recommendations and standards. This owner had a IMPAIRED individual named MARGARITA contact me to intimidate this review. Check with the Better Business Bureau and the state of California before hiring this company. Ironic there has been no new positive reviews. read more

Fantastic. Responsive, very knowledgeable, highly competent in his craft, and great price. Also, Arkadiy has a good sense of humor and is a delight to work with. read more

Arkadiy did several projects for me. The most difficult was installing a new sauna heater. He also installed the recession lights in both living and family rooms. The main thing I like about him is that he is a real professional. Arkadiy does care about the quality of his work. What is also important is that while being paid by the hour he always tries his best to complete the work as soon as possible and not overcharging the customer. I highly recommend Arkadiy. read more

If you have a quick project start by calling Arkadiy. He was great. None of the other three (5 star) electricians I called even bothered to return my call. I had a relatively small project to be done (pulling a cable tv cable into a spare bedroom). Some of the other highly rated electricians on Yelp wouldn't do the project because it was too small. I called Arkadiy, and he came over that evening to assess what was needed. When he came to do the work, he was efficient, super pleasant, and found a couple other things that needed to be addressed in my attic (eg, uncapped junction boxes, loose wire). He addressed these as well. He also made a recommendation for how I could get overhead lights in the master bedroom. Arkadiy is honest, easy to communicate with, and fair. Would highly recommend him. read more

I had a simple job: replacing five 2-prong outlets with 3-prong. I sent messages to several electricians, but most of them didn't answer or wouldn't do such a small job. Arkady responded, came over, gave me a very reasonable price. We scheduled the work. He showed up right on time and took care of the job. He was great to work with and will be the first person I call for any future electrical needs. read more
