When I asked Caio, the owner, about it, I was told that they could not identify it during testing and that it might be connected to a hidden outlet. I was advised to turn the breaker off for several hours, or even a day, and see what stops working. When I asked what the old panel had listed for that breaker, I was told there was no label. As a customer who paid on time and in full, I expected better accountability. Since all of the wiring was stripped and reconnected during the panel replacement, I believe identifying and properly labeling the circuits should have been part of the job. The lack of ownership and follow-through was frustrating. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this service moving forward.

We hired Formosa for an underground service upgrade from 100A to 200A. Before I made my payment, PG&E had already explicitly notified Formosa via email and provided an official design sketch detailing that a new utility pole would need to be installed in my backyard. Unbelievably, Formosa NEVER communicated this major change or showed me the PG&E design plan. I only found out when PG&E's construction trucks literally pulled up to my house ready to plant a utility pole in my backyard! I had no choice but to immediately cancel the entire project, resulting in thousands of dollars in non-refundable losses. Had Formosa simply passed on PG&E's notification when they received it, I would have stopped the project right then and avoided this massive financial loss. When I confronted them, Formosa claimed PG&E never informed them. However, I spoke directly with the PG&E Project Manager, who confirmed on the phone that Formosa was explicitly notified prior to my payment. When I asked Formosa to share their email correspondence with PG&E to prove their claim, they repeatedly refused. Their refusal to provide transparency speaks volumes. Furthermore, I only learned after switching to a new contractor that legitimate PG&E projects should be linked directly to the homeowner's PG&E account. Formosa never added this project to my PG&E account, intentionally or negligently keeping me completely in the dark regarding the project's true details and progress. Formosa has refused to offer any fair refund or accountability for their negligence. They hid a deal-breaking scope change, took my money, wasted thousands of my hard-earned dollars, and refused to stand by their work. I am more that happy with the results. This was a long term project. Ray was my contact and worked with me. They waited for 6 months as I was waiting for rebates to get approved from my utility. The approval came the beginning of July. The crew removed all of the old HVAC and installed the new system. This was just before the recent heat wave, so they worked hard to get it working before it hit. I now know that my old system was a POS. The new system has been excellent. It handled the 100F days without an issue.
