Its a Starbucks clone-alternative. If you don't like Starbucks, you won't like Blenz. If you do like Starbucks, (I most definitely do like Starbucks) Then Blenz will be fine. * * * As a seasonal drink, they are doing a coconut latte made with real coconut milk. Heh heh heh heh heh. I'll take one of those a day for the next 48 days. My cardiologist won't like that ... But I will be nice and alert at the cardiologist visit. ********** If you read the other Yelp reviews, There are thumbs down reviews all over the place. Many of those reviews are over a decade old ... 2011, 2014. The complaints vary ... Too many students, bad drinks, rude service, a few others. There are a few thumbs down reviews from 2023. I went through every complaint listed in the one to three star reviews. I saw zero of that during my visit in 2026. I do not think the "thumbs-downers" were wrong. I think they wrote about what they really experienced. But corporate coffee houses can really change. They change when someone comes down from a District Office or from National HQ ... Inspects the establishment ... Writes up a formal evaluation ... And calls in the franchise owner reading them the results of the report. After that, they read them the Riot Act of what will happen If the quality numbers don't improve. My guess is that Blenz Corporate intervened some time after these bad reviews were written. Either the franchise owner cleaned up his or her act ... Or the franchise owner was replaced. read more

Great customer services at this location and they listen to customers needed, will come back again every time passing by.

Blenz opens Daily from 6 am ~ 2 am. Great if you needs an early wake me up coffee or a late night coffee meet up with friends. Having a coffee before going to sleep may not be everyone's cup of tea but a herbal tea might actually helps when I have trouble to relax. Coming here at 7 am on a Sunday morning, I was the only customer and got to enjoy a double espresso machiatto in peace. My drink was ok. But nothing else was opened that early in the morning. (+0.5 star for the opening hours) read more

This is a nice Blenz, is near from the Lansdowne Mall and beside of the white spot. This place is not so busy and the service is really good. That's not like the other Blenz, because there aren't so many options. But they have few!! I think I've never saw this place dirty, it's always clean. I like to come here to eat ham and cheese croissant and grab some coffee before start to walk!! I hope you enjoy guys!!! read more

One of the barista is rude, does not care about what kind of coffee they provide I am not going back to this place read more

Wow, this place is a freaking WAR ZONE. It's completely full of students tapping away on laptops. You can barely walk around without tripping over students, backpacks, and extension cords. It's also extremely loud, and totally stuffy, like when you take the bus in the rain. Does every student in Richmond study here? Parking is ample if you park 20-30m away. The staff are friendly. Nothing bad here. I'm not a fan of their Wi-Fi system though. They make you log in every 2h. The problem is that it seems to switch at pre-set times, not when you log in. I lost 10 minutes of work when the code suddenly switched on me. The only reason why I'm not giving this place the coveted 1 star is because none of this (other than the wi-fi fiasco) is actually the fault of the establishment. I blame the hordes of students. There are MANY better places to go for coffee without getting swamped. read more

This be a cool late-nite oasis for your late-nite caffeine, tea and/or sugar fixin's. I could've used a nice drink once I got to the Hilton nearby for my first night so I found out about this place and had to try it. This whole area is sleeping after 10pm but once you get here it's steadily buzzing with folks inside and outside---many of whom are young adults on their digital devices. I got a Rooibos Tea Latte? (or Chai?), tall, and it was nice! I think ever since visiting Cederberg in Seattle's Queen Anne area, I've come to enjoy Rooibos tea really well. It's a very nice pleasant tea. Recommended if you're staying at the Hilton Hotel over by Minoru. read more

If you want a drink late at night but not alcohol or bubble tea, then go to Blenz. This location is opened 24 hours with free WiFi. The place is always full of people with laptops, or students 'studying'. How can someone study there with all the noise and buzz around. Seating is a bit limited though, so grab a seat if you see one, and then order. Their matcha latte is famous, delicious, frothy foam, and very healthy. Order it in a mug if you're sitting down, save some paper and it's poured beautifully. It is almost $5 a cup, but won't hurt once in awhile :) read more

Blenz Coffee - Matcha Latte - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Richmond, British Columbia

Staffs allow customers smoking in the patio seating area. Every time I passed by, there are some people smoking right by the "this is a smoke free area" signs. And the staff never ever enforce the rule. Really bad! read more

I love Blenz and their Matcha latte unsweetened. but this place is always buzzing with the students and their Wifi access on the laptops pretending to study. What is it with this trend of young-uns hanging out at coffee shops? Guess I'm feeling old. but the coffee is good. For a more relaxing coffee at Blenz, i'll hit up the one in Steveston. read more

So it's BCAA Day at Blenz, meaning you get a free regular size coffee, tea or hot chocolate. I go to another location at least twice a month & I just happened to be at this one. Ordered the dark hot chocolate, it was done amazingly fast, almost too fast. Took a sip, it wasn't very hot and...it tasted like water was used instead of milk. Disappointing. Not coming here again. read more

Great coffee house in the middle of just about anything that downtown Richmond has to offer. Very, very friendly staff, free wi-fi and while I was there, good music playing while taking an Olympic break. Why anyone would go to starburnts over this place is beyond me! read more

This is my central perk! I love the staff WOON and pheelen ROCK! The owner is also very nice! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. it's a nice place and my second home. I love going here on my day off and lounging ! THank you my freinds at BLENZ! This shop as inspired me to venture in the coffee busines.. one day. LOVE IT! Lovin my Blenz Ackroyd! read more

Best place to go to for 24/7 coffee. If your looking to get your caffeine fix at godly late hours of the night then you should make this your go to place. It's location is very convenient right on No.3 Road which is nearby bus stops and just a couple minute walk to the skytrain. Usually the place during school season is ramp-ed with students inside studying with their special beverage and hogging up all the seating with their laptops. Usually at night it's quite busy with all the students in there. The parking situation isn't all that great as it's parking lot shares with Boston Pizza and White spot which both are side by side each other. Also to mention there is alot of other businesses in that plaza so everyone is just trying to find parking everywhere so parking is limited and very tight. I suggest to just walk if you have to instead of driving. Finding a parking spot is a nightmare in that plaza and one can become very frustrated with anxious because of the parking situation. Good place for your above average cup of joe. read more

I had an iced matcha latte. It was super refreshing and delicious. The pastries were very good. This place was comfortable and interesting. The staff super friendly and engaging. She actually came up to us at our table to continue our conversation from earlier! For a chain this place was super personal and refreshing. read more

Service at this place isn't that great and the baristas aren't very knowledgeable about their current promotions. Much prefer to go to the Starbucks right across. Only came here 'cause Starbucks was closed early for the holidays. Eggnog latte wasn't that great and the mochacillo was way too sweet. read more

If you wanna get 24/7 coffee, here is the place I recommend. Being located on Number 3 road makes it a great way for people to get their quick coffee fix before having to go on with your life. If you were to go to parking your car, then good luck because it shares with Boston Pizza and White Spot, so basically it is going to be a battle to get parking spots. Trying on their products, in summary... it is oversweetened to a point where I could have gotten diabetes. Rather stick to water next time. read more

I LOVE the staff here! They are so sweet, and don't make me feel awkward when I come in for the same drink. They even know when my sister comes and gets my drink for me...my drink is that obscure and odd. ;P Anyways they aren't bitchy if you ask for more syrup, or anything like that...like some places are. As for seating...there is surprisingly a lot of seats crammed into this tiny space, as well as the patio outside. You will see people reading their morning paper, on their laptops at 3am, playing chess in the evening. You will some sketchy types smoking, some seniors, but more students and the like. I like baristas who actually care to know how my day is going, like they do here. :) It's open 24/7! Yay...in the case that you need a tea latte at 4am, because you will. ;) read more

Easily the best Blenz coffee in town. Great location right beside saves on super market and few of my favourite restaurants. Normally other Blenz are not located in the centre location. Lots of parking. Perfect place to hang out with family and friends. Always feel relaxed there. They do have best hot chocolate in town! Yum Yum. read more

I really wanted to get Tim Horton's coffee, but gave into Blenz. Free wi-fi, bathrooms, clean, lots of selection. However, the coffee was just not on point for me. If you like your coffee hot, you'll love this Blenz. It took me 20 minutes until I was able to get a good sip without burning my tongue. read more

Good drinks. However, I wanted to ask about something on the menu. I asked one of the young lady to help me. She stood there and ignored my existence. I asked another young lady, she ignore me as well. The ladies were doing nothing but chatting upon one another. The trashcan was also full. The young lady that worked there clearly saw it, and it was left alone. It would be greatly appreciated in the sight of the customers if the ladies were to show they care for their work when their customers walk into their shop. read more

I was really disappointed in Blenz. I came here with the wife on our way to the border to grab a quick green tea latte. We had two green tea latte's during the weekend, so we were excited to have another delicious GT latte. We were disappointed. Not only was it expensive ($5 for a medium), but the latte itself was sub par. It tasted like green tea leaves, instead of the creamy goodness that lattes have. There are two options sweet and non-sweetened, and this was the sweetened version. We left sad and disappointed :(. read more

The staff is the reason this is the place to go. I'm sure any Blenz is a Blenz, but these folks were awesome, and gave great suggestions to us as tourists in need of some ideas. read more

I came here last year for a business meeting. Decent decor like the other branches. Good selection of treats and a decent matcha latte. Customer service good. read more

What sets this place apart any other coffee shop around for blocks is the staff. I pretty much owe the success of my three terms of university to studying at this Blenz and sipping on their Earl Grey. If you like a cozy atmosphere, late hours and incredible staff, stop by for a drink. read more

Stopped for a coffee while biking. Great little outdoor seating area where I could just leave my bike while I grabbed a drink. Got two drinks and two baked goods. Good service too. read more

Always my favorite place to stay no matter how late or how early in the morning, I still remember the 1st day of this year around 5am when I entered this Blenz and ordered the first milk Mocha for this brand new year, thanks to this 24hr run cafe! And I almost know every old staff in this Blenz, lov every sweet-smile-girl here, and so happy that they can always remember my frequent order which makes me feel like coming back home ! Always strongly recommend milk mocha and white mocha! read more

had a bit of a weird experience. barista dude asked me and my friend where we were from. he was Asian so thankfully it wasn't like some Rice King caucasian dude trying to ask a racist question. (you know, the kind who assume all Asians are from Asia and assume we don't speak English? LOL). But I was a bit confused. "Where we are from?" Uh dude, we're from Vancouver. Ok whatever, it's cool. But it kind of weirded me out a bit. Didn't want to tell him where I originally came from Korea, coz I just don't like sharing personal info with strangers. I don't know. I don't really like to chat. I just want my coffee and to get in and out, you know? I guess staff in Richmond are chatty and friendly? I'm from Downtown and everyone is cold and busy because I live in the business district of DT and I'm used to that. In DT, nobody gives a sh*t about you and just want you to move outta the way. this blenz is full of college kids taking up tables drinking one coffee for hours and hours so meh, not really one I'd like to go to. Just dropped in and tried it since I happened to be in Richmond. read more

Best Blenz I've ever studied at overnight. The barista cleaned all night long even the outdoor tables when it was freezing cold. Staff is always friendly at this particular location and never seizes to amaze me. Love the three university girls who studied til dusk. read more
