The lady that manages the cafe was always welcoming every time we visited. We were blown away by how flavorful it tasted, the taste along with the sweetness was very balanced, just soothing and comfortable every time we sipped on it. However, after coming back a few times, we found that Mycoffee lacks consistency with their items. we really couldn't taste what we had for the first time anymore.

Now I had nothing against this place personally but after this, it's become personal. They advertise a Hong Kong milk tea which was exactly what I was craving all morning and the best way to wake me up. What I got instead, was a steeped orange pekoe or English breakfast tea with STEAMED MILK. I don't know if you know how Hong Kong milk tea should taste but this was not it. Hong Kong milk tea has a very strong and distinct taste and it is paired with evaporated milk...this was not that. When I drink Hong Kong milk tea I don't want to taste any water content. I want the tea to punch me in the face and wake me up. what I got, was a diluted tap on the shoulder. I have nothing against the tea itself, This was simply false advertising. The owner was fully aware that they d don't offer milk tea and yet they continue to serve whatever this was... Will I ever come back? No. Did I get a Starbucks on the way home because of this place and waste another five dollars? maybe. am I a morning person? definitely not.

Their cake's presentation caught my eye and felt like I wanted to buy them all. This time, I heard that they started selling breads, such as loaf and salt bread. So, I got Truffle salt bread and Pistachio loaf. Pistachio loaf was very fluffy, soft texture, and light pistachio filling , which was very good. Truffle salt bread flavor was not really strong, and I thought their bread texture needs a bit more refinement. I would like to try different flavor of loaf next time. And definitely, I will try different new cake line-up.

The customer service was very helpful in suggesting me some decaf options. I had a berry cheesecake and my friend got the mocha one. The mocha one definitely tasted much more like mocha than the berry one tasted like berry so I'd recommend that one over the berry. Unfortunately, the osmanthus oolong tea I got tasted nothing like osmanthus and just like green tea, I'd skip that next time. While it's a bit pricier than other cafés I've been to, I saw they had a wide selection of fluffy loaves and individual round cakes with some unique flavours like lychee osmanthus (~$13 which could be shared).

Hojicha latte was not officially on the menu but they made one for me and it was delicious! It was also the cutest most creative latte art I have EVER seen! The one young guy who was running the cafe today is really talented! If you have a young guy with an avocado hat and is left handed when pouring the milk, you're in luck! The cookies were just okay, a little greasy. Prefer thicker cookies that are a little crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, with more tea flavor.

There's parking available for the building and a QR code in store to register for free parking. It's also a really short walk from Richmond Center and the skytrain so overall a super convenient location. The store is heavily advertising their matcha so I ordered a matcha fusion. The employees were super helpful with helping me pick a drink and informing me of all their combos and deals. They have a very large menu so there's something for everyone. We visited on a weekend and it was busy but still has seats available. It's a very spacious place (much larger than Miion next door). I also wanted to ask about Lion Travel tour packages in Taiwan. It's so convenient to have these services together. The Lion Travel agent was also super helpful with sharing information about their available packages and was able to email me all the information. Overall a very pleasant visit!!

The walls are decorated with pictures from Europe and the teacups are very "British." Besides scone and tea, you can get regular food here as well such as fries, salt & pepper chicken, and radish cake to name just a few. You can also get cold drinks like juice & bubble tea, and bubble tea drinks here too. So...not your typical British style Afternoon Tea joint. Kind of half restaurant, half tea place. My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.
