The Prosecco on tap is worth the trip alone. The wings are delicious and they have a great variety of drinks on tap to choose from, and their mixed drinks are incredible. It is absolutely worth it.

I'm slightly rounding up due to the great time a friend and I had here recently. We met for a drink to hopefully ease our Corona stress, and apparently many others were doing likewise this Thursday night. So much for social distancing. We grabbed the last 2 seats at the bar and were pleasantly surprised, a live band was playing tonight. Full disclosure, it was an oldies band, clarinet and upright bass. But hearing these classics in old school format was actually soothing. My friend had a cocktail made with ginger beer, she liked it and was happy with the size/ strength. I started with their tap hard cider, tasty but a bit sweet. I transitioned to a cherry wine sour, and thoroughly enjoyed. It appears that you can get tastes of a few things before choosing the size you'd like, good to know. As for the tap list, the 20 options were largely from local-ish breweries, most of which I haven't been too. This local focus impressed me and helped get that fourth star. We shared a pepperoni bar pie and it was good. I was informed by one of the very good bartenders that this business is owned by Brothers pizza which is just next door. The space itself is modern and casual, with a second room for private dining. I'd possibly try a happy hour special, but see this more as a place that a novice beer fan like myself can try a few things from breweries I might like to visit. Hopefully when all this pandemic stuff settles down I'll return and try their current sours.

Great experience for our work happy hour. We enjoyed the outdoor seating with frequent, terrific service. The beer selection is varied for flight samplers and the mixed drinks were well poured. The spinach artichoke dip appetizer was filling within the warm bread bowl and the empanadas were good. I can attest that the crab cake sandwich was also tasty.

Pre Covid I went to a beer festival sponsored by Blend Bar & Bistro (which I had never heard of) in Mercer County Park. We had a great time & I took note of the place because I wanted to check it out sometime. Well, Covid changed a lot of things, but I FINALLY got to take my daughters to Blend Bar & Bistro for dinner & craft drafts. The place is smaller than I expected & located on Route 33 in Hamilton. They have a tent outside which is not in use at the moment but it looked pretty inviting (except for all of the snow around; certainly no fault of theirs). Upon entering, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman (owner or manager I don't know but am sorry I didn't ask). Our temps were taken (simple way to unsure patrons aren't sick) & we were escorted to our table. Masks were worn by all & tables distanced. Our waitress, Beth, came over & greeted us taking our drink order. I inquired about a beer my daughter was having & she brought me a sample although I never asked for it. I like that. I ordered the Toscano Panini, which came with steak fries. I was tasty & hot. Several times, Beth came over to check on us as well as the gentlemen I mentioned earlier. The atmosphere here is fabulous & you feel like they are genuinely glad you're here. In fact, we drove quite a way just to check them out & I am glad we did. Synopsis: staff was awesome, beer was awesome, food was good. I would return in a heartbeat. And I hope Beth has a great time in 'my neck of the woods this weekend' as she indicated she was going there!

Food was okay, we got the blackened chicken sandwich which was good but I felt could of been a little better. Also got the crispy chicken sandwich, the chicken was a little too on the crispy side. Drinks were good but overpriced for sure.

I like that it has a laid back chill crowd at night, the food is great and affordable. The staff is laid back ... I'm a pothead so I appreciate that!

It was ok and I am not sure if I' would recommend to friend. I like the fact that they had tables outside.

I'm not sure why they call this restaurant Flying Pig. It's not as if they have a lot of BBQ items…read moreon the menu. They do have pulled pork and BBQ ribs along with bacon on everything. I haven't been to this site since it was Dublin Square which was a long time ago. Some of the layout changed. They no longer have the old bar separated from the dining area. Callie was our server and did a great job. I was there with some friends from SC. We started by ordering the large pretzel which comes out on a pretzel hanger along with some beer cheese for dipping. They also use that hanger for bacon. The pretzel was enough for 4 of us. I ordered the wings and selected Nashville Hot and Hog Sauce as my flavors. They claim they sell by the pound ($15.50) but it ends up being 8 wings. If you want to split flavors, they make it dry and bring the sauce on the side for dipping. Luckily the Nashville Hot is a dry rub. It was very good and not too spicy. The Hog Sauce is a combo of Buffalo and Garlic which was excellent. The wings themselves were plump, juicy and crispy. Five stars. Plenty of parking. Some tables available outside for outdoor seating when it ever gets nice in NJ. Bathrooms were very clean. You may find some little pink pigs around. Not sure if they're complimentary, but my wife took the one that was next to our table. My only complaint is they have too many of their draft beers designated for only 10 oz pours even with low ABV. I had a Kane Head High which was in a 16 oz glass. They also use OpenTable for reservations which I used as well.

There is an outdoor patio outside the front door, where you get an incredible view of rt 130…read more Inside there is a central square bar, with stools all around and tables of various sizes all around it in a u-shape. The kitchen dominates the back of the restaurant with a huge pizza oven and white tiles all around, and a clean bright fresh look, as you pass by to use the restroom. Overall it was fine but not incredibly memorable. We were seated at the strange 6-top table right inside the front door. Like people almost have to shimmy past you to get inside. The service was okay but not great. On the plus side, when we ordered something it came on the quicker side and also later in the meal the manager came by and checked on us. On the meh side there were long periods without being checked on by our server and I feel like I knew a bit more about the menu from reading it than they did. The best thing we ordered was the pretzel. The rest of the food was just alright. Bang bang cauliflower was crispy but battered in what actually tasted like a more dense funnel cake batter and had a twang of fryer oil that was on the cusp of needing to be changed. The sauce was flat. Cheesesteak egg rolls were not good. Soggy (again the fryer oil) and the prevailing flavor was green peppers. (Where I come from a cheesesteak guarantees shaved ribeye, American or Cooper sharp cheese and possibly fried onions but green peppers I would say crosses a line) Mozzarella sticks were mid. Truthfully the extremely long and skinny plates the apps came out on were just annoying. I'm sure the dish and kitchen staff can't stand washing them and plating the food on them either. Just buy some oval or round plates bruh. The cocktails were fine but uninspired. I ordered a peach old fashioned... Bulleit was the brand of bourbon and there was supposed to be peach bitters, peach syrup and "fresh peach" but it came out again a little on the underwhelming side without much peach flavor and the "fresh peach" nowhere to be found. (I expected perhaps a slice of fresh peach?) I didn't take a picture of the cocktail menu but I feel like it many have been like $16 for a subpar drink. Don't mind paying even $20 for a cocktail if it's executed correctly. We tried a blueberry mule off of the mocktails menu but asked to have Tito's added. It was good and properly served in a copper mug with a sprig of fresh mint. There was some live music, a guy singing and playing a guitar which was a nice touch. I appreciated that we could still have dinner conversation and the music wasn't dominating the room- it was more complimentary to the dining experience. In fairness our time there was all apps and some cocktails. We did not try the entrees. I wonder if they would have been executed upon at a higher level. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Had some neat (copper?) sinks with waterfall faucets. In a day and age where things are expensive, you gotta be firing on all cylinders to stand out as a place for folks to drop their hard earned money for a night out. It was alright here... But I don't know if I would choose to come back over other options. It landed between two and half stars and three stars for me.
