I went to Wildflowers Too for the first time last evening, and was very pleased with the experience. There were 8 of us - 6 adults and 2 children hungry after a baseball game. The wait staff was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. And the food was fresh and delicious. We ate salads too large to finish, jumbo sandwiches and a huge portion of chicken tenders. Our chicken parm connoisseur gave his choice 2 thumbs up. We look forward to returning on warm weather to eat on the deck. Tried this place for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Spicy Buffalo wings were good! Could of used a tad more sauce on the side but were delicious and crispy. Mozzarella logs were different but good-could of used more sauce. The Hamilton burger was delicious!!! I was nervous about the bbq sauce that it came with because on the menu it said fiery chipotle but it was soo good! Not really that spicy. And would definitely get again!! I went into this establishment and was brought my drink and then for 15 minutes every waitress walked back and forth and refused to acknowledge me or take my order. I waited 15 minutes saying nothing and being patient and still was not serviced. I think it is appalling that this location would treat a patron that way. This used to be one of our faves. It was nice to have a place close in Yardville. But it has gone down hill since reopening after COVID. They don't open until 3. The food isn't very good anymore. Ordered pizza, it was more crust than anything. Once they ran out of burgers. They give brown limes in drinks. One had mold on it. The staff used to be so personable, the bartender always seems annoyed. It's a shame. read more

I really want to like this place as it is near my home and I have always enjoyed "dive bars". We. have been there a few times hoping it improves or maybe we caught them on the bad night but the lowlights were the staff just totally disregarding us like we were not even sitting at the bar. This includes walking by us a number of times with empty beer glasses and going to talk to each other at the other end of the bar. Secondly, we actually had a foul taste from the draft beer on each of the last two visits. When we point this out, there is no apology but almost disdain from what we are experiencing. I would be careful as I am unsure how often they clean their beer lines. The only saving grace here is the food...very good bringing in the two stars. read more

I read the iffy reviews and was skeptical coming in. I'm glad I did. The place is super cute and homey. Nice large bar. The bartenders were friendly unlike some of the reviews I read. Now the food.... French onion soup - would order again. Not too salty which some places are. Chicken wings - awesome! Got the wings extra crispy and sauces on the side because i wanted to try several. Buffalo - great standard buffalo sauce. Sweet chili - boring, just regular sweet chili sauce and not doctored up. Garlic buffalo - amazing!! But you must love garlic as it's super garlicky. Can't wait to get this again. Pear salad - yum yum yum. The picture doesn't do it justice and the bowl is deceivingly deep. I got the strawberry vinaigrette on the side as well as balsamic. I like the balsamic more but the strawberry is good too, just depends what you're in the mood for. Def get the blue cheese wedge on the side, it adds a lot to the salad. Cheese fries - classic. All in all....Cute local place. Can't wait to visit again. read more

I'm giving this 2 starts merely because they have a nice outdoor area. So the pizza is abysmal. Hey cook - TRENTON TOMATO PIE HAS A SWEET SAUCE AND CHUNKS OF PLUM TOMATOES!!!!!! My wife and I enjoy the "dive" type of taverns as we often find the setting more comfortable. The place is definitely rough around the edges as it could use a carpet replacement and some updating to the bar itself, but they did have a nice craft beer selection along with some tasty (and reasonably priced) food. Stopped in for lunch recently and sat at the bar with the four other people in the house. The room was large and the rectangular bar took up most of the space. Well designed for a busy night, and a quiet feeling at mid afternoon while the room is being readied for happy hour and the night shift. Still, the space felt rather dark on a wet afternoon, and had the sensibility that it could use some TLC to bring it back to its prime. The bartender brought a menu, my drink and a smile with a casual grace. I ordered a Patty Melt Medium. Given how few people were in house, it took longer than anticipated for my lunch to arrive. It came out about 20 minutes after ordering, half well done, and half medium well. A side of Fries accompanied it. Rather than Rye Bread, it was sandwiched in Rye/Pump Marble Bread - a reasonable alternative. There were plenty of Sautéed Onions within, melted Swiss Cheese on top. The taste and texture were okay, but lacked real juiciness and the rich taste of quality fresh ground beef. The Steak Fries were decent, but again closer to average, rather than memorable. The "Heinz" Ketchup was a refill, not what the label advertised. The first squirt was mostly water that I managed to redirect away from the burger and onto the plate. Hate when that happens. The prices were fair; getting out for around $10 plus tip with a refilled Iced Tea. Given some of the other choices in the area, Wildflowers Too is not a place I put on my short list for fast return. read more

I wanted to come here a couple of times before I wrote an honest review because you never know when a place may just have an off night. This review is after our third visit. The place is meh. Old decor, wait staff ok and food so-so. I'm pretty laid back but our last visit, we waited at least 5 minutes for a waitress to show up (and it was NOT busy at all) so my husband got drinks for us at the bar. While he was at the bar, the waitress showed up and I said politely, "we waited for a bit and weren't sure how much longer so my husband just went to get us something" and she says, "you were here for like 3 seconds" and I looked and her and politely said, "no, it was much longer than that". Really? That was a weird/snotty thing to say to me and I wasn't being snotty to her. I took solace in hearing another table behind us tell her they've been waiting forever and she said, "you didn't wait forever"! OMG. So we got wings and chicken parm. I asked for extra sauce for the chicken parm but the food runner brought out extra wing sauce. No big deal, I was just going to wait for the waitress to come back and I'd ask her for some. She comes over to the table and says, "do you want some more sauce?" and I said, "yes, that would be great. I asked for more sauce but he brought me hot sauce" and she says, "no he didn't". Uh, YEAH, HE DID. Seriously lady? The food - nothing good. A place you can go for sub par food if you didn't want to cook yourself. Friday night, 6:30, bar is full, 2 barmaids hustling food & drinks. Being in food service, for 40 years and school trained Chef, I evaluate a restaurant by visual, first. The nice young lady Hostess informed us there would be a 5 minute wait, 2 minutes later , she informs us , "The Kitchen" said up it to 25 minute wait. While we waited for 25 minutes, I observed 6 people unwilling to wait 25 minutes, and left the restaurant. I see 3 servers and they are serving tables, but 1/4 of the tables are empty. We finally are seated and our server comes to the table, nice Guy, we order drinks and apps at the same time ordered our dinner. Knowing the kitchen crew is either understaffed or a bunch of losers. Apps arrive, Calamari is overcooked and possibly freezer burnt, stuffed potato skins, meh. Cream of Broccoli Soup was cold, sent it back came back hot, tasted starchy instead of using roux to thicken. Fantastic Chicken wasn't bad, green beans were fresh and al dente', twice baked potato was not to different from stuffed potato skins, sans the bacon bits. My Girlfriend has the Shells with Shrinp and Mushrooms. Light sauce was good but the LOW BUDGET, Sodium Tripolyphosphate (look it up) laden shrimp were terrible. Cesar salad was good. 1st and last time we will visit this over rated bar. Fix your staff or you will end up like the rest of the Road Kill in the restaurant business. read more

T's a big Steelers fan and it's hard to find a bar in the area that's not overrun with Eagles fans. We managed to find one! I'd been to Wildflowers several times in the past but T found it when he looked online to find what bars show Steelers games. We sat at the bar with about 15-20 Steelers fans. The best part was the diverse crowd! There were only 3-4 Eagles fans in the whole place. There were a few Green Bay guys and some Giants jersey at the other end of the bar. It was a great experience. No meathead guys yelling and screaming, everyone was into their respective games and they have a full menu of great bar food. We got boneless buffalo wings to start with. They weren't wings, they were fingers and HUGE! Very meaty with a tasty buffalo sauce. They also served them with celery AND carrots which made me happy. T took the celery and I got all the carrots just for me. Whee! I had a cheesesteak for lunch. It was slightly smaller, which I appreciated, even though the menu advertised it as a half pound. Maybe that was with the bread and everything? Either way, a manageable size. T got a personal pizza with Italian meats and cheese topped with a salad. He said it was good, just not what he was expecting. He really liked the crust. Next time we'll go and get a regular tomato pie while enjoying the Steelers. A fantastic place for game day! read more

My best friend invited me out tonight because she couldn't be apart of my birthday party in January. We come to wildflowers, are seated, in a side room, and my girlfriends and are are loud. So, respectfully we asked our waiter to be moved to the bar side, which they nicely accommodate. I then ask the bartender (brett) can you still continue to be our server. Which he does. They seat us in our new spot, serve our food, brett was great. We then meet with friends who are at the bar, so then we close our bill with brett to sit at the bar ...by the way our bill was $80, we tipped him $40 on top, because he treated us great. We sit at the bar. Ordering shots, having a great time. FYI there is zero sign that says don't slap the bar. Well me, being me, when I buy the whole bar shots, slapped the bar and said "shotttts! For everyone!" Well the older bartender approached me and said "don't you ever hit my fucking bar like that" then continued to publicly shame me to all the other locals at the bar. One man looked at me and said "get the fuck out!" So 'crying' I pulled a younger bartender aside and said "omg i didn't know your policy, close my tab." I've never felt so embarrassed I just wanted to buy a round of shots and he said "yea, I know, but the owner hates people slapping the bar." OK?! LIKE I WAS SUPPOSE TO KNOW?! I just tipped your waiter $40 on top of my $80 tab THEN I was gonna buy a round of shots for the whole bar then tip your bartenders on top. But OK a tiny little girl who wanted to hit the bar with her hands and give everyone a round of shots... should be fucking ridiculed because the older bartender wants to JUST inform her that THE OWNER HATES WHEN YOU HIT THE BAR. I'm not from around here but ok PUT UP A FUCKING SIGN THEN IF YOU DONT LIKE IT. BY THE WAY, UPSET, I asked him to close my tab which was $28, I tipped them another $20. Place is kind of a dive and the inside looks like it hasn't been updated in generations, but the service is great and the chicken francese is one of the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that the menu states the chicken is served with roasted potatoes and steamed veggies and I nstead it was served to me with a side of pasta and no veggie. Server explained they were out of potatoes. That's fine, but I have a gluten allergy so I can't eat the pasta. They were happy to substitute white rice (together with steamed broccoli) which they brought out 10 minutes after I had already finished my chicken. If you're going to serve something other than what is on the menu, please let the customer know and offer alternatives! Food and service were both outstanding. I'll come back. read more

Wildflowers too is a great bar and restaurant located in Yardville. They have a good menu with great sandwiches and lots of comfort food as well as traditional meals. It's a small place but seats people comfortably. There is always a good crowd due to the fact that they have a lot of activities for their patrons such as trivia night and Texas hold'em poker. read more

This is an awesome little hometown bar with lots of televisions to watch whatever game you want to see. The food here, also, is always very good.
