    Caesar Salad - delish!
    Lauren D.

B2 was our destination after a mid-afternoon movie with the kids and friends. Walking in, the restaurant is definitely a number of notches up from your typical bar and grill, but still retaining a casual and fun atmosphere (love the moody greens and browns with the light and bright windows and white tiles). As a hint, I pointed to the Mother's Day reservations as this is definitely the place to take a special someone for a special occasion. All of the specials - drink and otherwise - are beautifully drawn on a big chalkboard at the entrance, so if you like to explore cocktails and mocktails, they're inventive here. Counter to some of the reviews here, we experienced attentive service with our tie dye hobbyist server Zach. He's so friendly and gets that New Orleans version of hospitality that gets to know the customer and tell a little bit about himself - hence the tie dye convo! I'm a beer girl and ordered the Spellbound Coffee porter from an extensive beer list (draft and bottles) and my husband and his friend appreciated the whiskey choices. Menu offers a little something for everyone without being overwhelming. Sandwiches, pizza, pasta, steaks, sushi and Mex - but it does really all make sense (and our friend tells us the Philly sushi roll is great)! Kids have decent choices too and I have to say that the fries that accompany the grilled cheese are probably in my top 5 of all time - crispy with visible salt flakes and peppers. I would also count my apple walnut salad as crave-worthy and one of my top salads of all time - a perfect bite of lettuce, blue cheese, dried fruit and walnut every time - I am not sure that I can try anything else on the menu when I go back (and I had a hard time choosing, as there were many vegetarian options!). Mac and cheese short rib sando makes a statement upon delivery and was delicious according to our friend. Not pictured, but chicken parm was also perfectly crispy and delicious. Caesar salad was a winner and my selective husband told me it was very good, along with his high marks for atmosphere, drinks and service. Definitely a five star experience!

I haven't been to this site since it was Dublin Square which was a long time ago. Some of the layout changed. They no longer have the old bar separated from the dining area. Callie was our server and did a great job. I was there with some friends from SC. We started by ordering the large pretzel which comes out on a pretzel hanger along with some beer cheese for dipping. They also use that hanger for bacon. The pretzel was enough for 4 of us. I ordered the wings and selected Nashville Hot and Hog Sauce as my flavors. They claim they sell by the pound ($15.50) but it ends up being 8 wings. If you want to split flavors, they make it dry and bring the sauce on the side for dipping. Luckily the Nashville Hot is a dry rub. It was very good and not too spicy. The Hog Sauce is a combo of Buffalo and Garlic which was excellent. The wings themselves were plump, juicy and crispy. Five stars. Plenty of parking. Some tables available outside for outdoor seating when it ever gets nice in NJ. Bathrooms were very clean. You may find some little pink pigs around. Not sure if they're complimentary, but my wife took the one that was next to our table. My only complaint is they have too many of their draft beers designated for only 10 oz pours even with low ABV. I had a Kane Head High which was in a 16 oz glass. They also use OpenTable for reservations which I used as well.

Walking in the hostesses greeted us and asked to take our coats and umbrellas. They were very complimentary of us and also gave me a single stem rose when they heard it was my birthday. Walking to our table we were able to take in the overall beauty and romantic ambiance in every room which was exactly what I hoped for. Our waiter and the staff were very attentive throughout the night and wanted to ensure we wanted for nothing. The food from the complimentary bread, olive, olive oil and prosciutto to the cocktails to the entrees and cannoli for dessert were a 10/10! We had not a single recommendation for improvement. After dinner we popped into the piano lounge for a night cap and to listen to the band. The lounge itself is sooo chic and plush!!! And the wait staff and bartenders are all top tier...they truly know how to create and overall start to finish fine dining experience. Oh and the band was fun! They asked for (& got) crowd participation which was fun to watch. This was 100% an overall romantic and fun fine dining experience and we already said we're coming back!

Nestled on the cutesy street of Farnsworth Ave., with a casual exterior and outdoor patio, this pub's best kept secret is that it offers some of the best food in town! The menu has options for everyone, with big flavor, variety, and drinks with flare. The vibe is casual, there is indoor seating upstairs and downstairs, with outdoor seating available on the main level, and two full service bars! A good place to bring a group of 6 or less, perfect for a meet up with friends and great for those who love a good "drinks and tapas" style dinner! The food portions are a good size and shareable. Cheesesteak egg rolls, jalapeño egg rolls, lobster bao buns, and the shrimp caesar salad with their homemade dressing are must orders! The food always arrives to your table hot, fresh and absolutely savory. Each time we've visited the service has been attentive and timely with friendly staff, who offer tasty suggestions. If you're looking for a slightly elevated drink experience when it comes to cocktails, the bartenders here have it! Well blended, you can taste the "hand crafted" in your beverage and they are truly layered with the flavors listed on the menu. While parking is free, it is limited and tucked away behind the building. Street parking and an additional parking lot is available down the block. There are many small cafes, restaurants and other unique businesses nearby to enjoy as well. Enjoy friends!

The only reason I didn't make this a five out of five was that I felt that it was very limited on the happy hour menu and wind up spending a lot more than I anticipated because we ordered off the regular menu in addition to just the hot wings and I'm not even sure if I drink choices. The beers were on the happy hour unless it was like two or three on tap so that was a little bothersome for me. It was hard to sort of follow what is and what Isn't but I think we'll give it a fair. Try one another time when Fifa games are not going on. We did order wings off the happy hour menu, but then from the regular menu I had the sesame tuna tacos instead of fries which I hate I had brussels sprouts but again there's an up charge to do that. My wife had the half cheesesteak she added sautéed peppers she added a chipotle. Aïoli and she also swapped out tater tots for whatever the fried choice was but everything was at an up charge. Food was tasty was good but again like I said I was coming for happy hour and I felt like I wasn't happy with the hour.

While I do enjoy Marcello's there are a few things that hold this back from being a 4 or 5 start restaurant in my opinion. The first thing is the price. It's very pricy. The drinks are expensive but the food is really expensive. A "pizette" which is a flatbread is very costly for what you get in my opinion. But with that said, they are really good. Same with their sandwiches and pastas. Expensive but generally good. Wit that said, I have found their food hit or miss. Sometimes it's really on and it's phenomenal. Other times it's average. So a bit inconsistent. The service is just okay. I have found the bartenders a bit aloof. But they do make mighty good drinks. My favorite thing is the sausage egg rolls. Highly recommend them. The pizza is also quite good. I will keep coming here but wish it was a little more reasonably priced.
