We been to the original Cajun Crawfish and always enjoyed it until we realized it had been sold and is now the Blazing Crawfish. Came in at 1pm (that's when they open) for a late lunch. There was only one server and no hostess, but the server sat us immediately and handed us the menu. Prices are clearly posted on the large board so there are no surprises even if it's a known fact that seafood is pricey. We ordered two pounds of the Seafood Combo (2 lbs is the minimum). You choose three from - gulf shrimp, crawfish, mussels, clams and snow crab legs, comes with one half potato, 2 corn on the cob (1/4 size) and your choice of sauce. We chose the snow crab, crawfish and mussels with garlic butter sauce. Same style service and presentation from the original - your super hot seafood in a plastic bag is brought to your table with a bowl for your shells. Be very careful opening the bag as all that steam escapes. We also ordered the Fried Catfish with garlic fries and the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Everything comes to your table very hot (not complaining). Of course, they provide you with a bib, shellfish cracker and gloves as it can get pretty messy at the table. Food was good and since there aren't many places that offer this type of experience, it will be our go-to place if we want to eat seafood and be messy at the same time. read more

New name, same feel. Have not been to this location since it was Cajun Crawfish. Unsure whether or not it is the same ownership, but they have definitely kept the same idea and food selection. The food is good, and interactive to eat if that's what you're going for. Glove and bib recommended if you don't like making mess or the smell of Cajun on your hands for hours after! Feel free to try all their sauces, but I definitely go with the house sauce to get the full cajun experience. I would say do not go higher than a spicy level 2 or 3. I love spicy food, and I could feel the heat with both. The size of the shrimp is second to none. But if you want variety definitely go with the combos and get some clams, muscles, crawfish, and or crab. Their sides are really good too if you're craving chicken wings or anything fried! Oh don't forget the rice, because who doesn't like rice with their seafood! Their service is very friendly, but I feel that they can get really overwhelmed a weeknight with a few larger groups. I'm sure it was a fluke for the night we were dining in. Prices seemed fair for seafood and amount. By all means order by the pound if you prefer more of one seafood over the other. read more

My family and I were there Sunday afternoon after church services. My wife wanted some seafood and this place was recommended by multiple people so, obviously, we had to try it. I am going to say this with extreme confidence... the fried catfish was the best I've ever had! I have had catfish in different cities (Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, all down south where they are the catfish capitol) and none can compare. I know! We were looking forward to trying this place and it wasn't bad, but could use a few improvements. If it's your first time there it would be helpful if the staff would educate customers on how things work. If you get the seafood in a sauce, it comes very hot to the table in the bag. It would be helpful to have some tongs or something to take the food out of the plastic bag to place it on the table. Next, it would be helpful to be given proper utensils, so that you could remove the seafood from the shells. Overall, the seafood was good, but it is very pricey for what you get. read more

This place is pretty good! Cali people if you're looking for something similar to a Boiling Crab this spot is as close as you'll get here in WA! I got a few things but my favorite is the 1lb head on shrimp with house sauce because it's a mix of all sauces (like the Shabang at boiling crab!), can't remember the spice level I got it at I believe it was a 3-4 which is a big kick! Seafood is always pricey so expect that depending on the amount you're buying. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back! (The Thai tea is delicious!) read more

Ordered shrimp and crawfish, both cooked perfectly. Also, went with a 4 for spice level. NOTE: ASIAN SPICE LEVELS HERE!! 4 had me physically sweating a little, but wasn't overbearing. The prices are fair and include only the seafood weight. We did not order any appetizers, so no comment regarding those items. As for my gripes: Italian sausage instead of something like Andouille, undercooked rice, and no wet naps at the table. Small gripes aside, a 4-star is exceedingly high for my standards. Who thinks it's ok to do unseasoned boil? This place apparently. I'm from Louisiana, this place is an insult. They boil the crawfish in unseasoned water then will douse it in the sauce before serving you. That's why the crawfish will taste so unseasoned that even white people's "chicken breast"-loving tongues will gag. There was no meat in the snow crabs, each leg i opened there was no meat. 40 bucks for sauce and empty shells? The sauce wasn't bad, a little too salty but the top of the crab didn't look cooked well, it was grey meat with what looked like vein/blood streaks or some kind of guts. 30 bucks for a lobster tail the size of my 4 year old kids hand. 77 bucks for king crab. When we told the worker that my crab had literally no meat he said "Oh that's just the inventory" so we asked for a discount, he said ok he'll give us 10%. Read a review of this restaurant and had to try it. I love Cajun, gumbo, jambalaya. What this place is, is a Louisiana boil, cajun and Vietnamese mixture. After asking a slew of questions to the owner I ordered the shrimp and clams. I really wanted to try a crawfish, pull the head off, suck the inside and eat the crawfish. But I didn't want to order a pound of them and not like them. The clams and shrimp were great, ordered with a 3 star heat, I thought was fairly mild but my daughter was sweating so take that for what it's worth. The owner was kind enough to bring out a few crawfish for us to try. She said you either love them or hated them. I was so so, I'll stick with shrimp, that's just me. Everything was really fresh and tasty. Others in our party had the snow and Dungeness crab, all fresh and good. If you're looking for fresh seafood with a kick, this is the place. We ordered a snow crab combo. Sad to say we couldn't eat it. There was nothing fresh about the food. Everything was so overcooked, clearly had been sitting there all day - so much so that the crab leg shells were soft. The snow crab combo apparently only comes with one cluster of crab legs. Can't decide if that's a good thing or bad thing based on the quality. Got two pieces of potato and two quarter pieces of corn. The crawfish and shrimp were mush in their shells. Unfortunately, the value for what we paid just wasn't there. We took the L and had to get dinner elsewhere. I've been to other Cajun seafood spots in the Seattle area. Okay hear me out , this spot has been a crawfish spot for a while .. but they got new owners during Covid and it's been amazing ever since . The Staff and owner are super cool they talk and banter with you an environment with happy staff sets a nice mood to grub . And the food is freaking amazing . I love my sea food boils okay , but a lot of places you get half assed on sauce , or they put to much oil, or are doing to much where flavors aren't balanced out too much or to little spices and you can't taste your seafood . I love the house sauce here it's thick flavorful , doesn't have to much going on but the perfect amount of everything and nice chunky pieces of garlic I like 3 star with extra lemons yummm . The most amazing seafood boiled on the north end! I almost don't want to make an amazing review just to keep this gem all to myself lol ! It's a family-run Asian influenced/flavored seafood boiled place that reminds me so much of the legit stuff u get in LA's Koreantown ... The waitress (she said it's her family place) and the female owner (I believe that's who she was) said some super Asian-family stuff to me today and just remind me of my grandparents and made me dig this place extra hard ... first off the "owner" came by to check on us and said that we're quiet over here to which I responded that that was a good sign that everything is delicious and we were just busy eating ... and she laughed. Then on my way out of the bathroom and leaving the place, I ran into the waitress and showed her my battle scar on my middle right finger, and she responded with a smile "oh no u got attacked" and for whatever reason the crab attack comment made me laugh! First off, I don't like crawfish. So I won't even! Haha, that doesn't cast a shadow on my review. I loved the food I got here, it was seasoned wonderfully. The bibs, the beers, the bags of deliciousness, I am down for it all! However, the price point is a bit insane when you consider locally sourced seafood. It is definitely an "I am going to splurge" kind of dining experience without worrying about looking too dignified. Eventually, the gloves will rip and I end up not caring while I suck the creole yumminess from my buttery fingers.
