We have been enjoying Blaze since their opening. Truthfully there was a bit of a learning process on how to get the best pizza each time. I say this because they have so many nice young people working there it's rare to have the same person making your pizza. I think we could make our own pizza after having been there so many times. I would like to see them add ground beef to their toppings but other that that's my only suggestion. They do a great job of training and hiring their people. The General Manager is very nice and is very interesting in her customers. Since they started offering a half pizza and salad the wife gets that, and I get a build your own. Always take half home for another meal. I give them a five for the overall value and service. You can find a better pizza in town for sure. Blaze always gives you fresh ingredients, serves your pizza hot right out of the oven. Good pizza, good service and decent prices. If I were to just rate the pizza, I'd give it a four. Prices are great build your own unlimited toppings for under nine bucks. I started with a White Top and modified a bit, added chicken, roasted garlic, fresh tomatoes, red onions, sea salt, basil, pesto drizzle. They are cooked in a super hot oven, it was done so fast. Perhaps a little too fast, as my wife's veggie pizza had a lot of raw flavor, mushrooms did not have enough time to cook, bell peppers were still cold (though she said it was still good). Ate here for the first time last night. The kids wanted to go for some froyo, but by the time we got there it was dinner time. So being next door to our fav FroYo spot, we decided to try Blaze Pizza first. First impression upon walking into the resturant.. Very decent size dining area. The booths are large (were a family of 5, and we could have had an additional 4 adults join us in the same booth!) The lighting was perfect, not overly bright, yet not too dim.. (yes.. I notice things like this.) I did notice it was freezing.. The air was "turnt-up"!! I don't care to be that cold, but others may prefer.. However, I took into account that the dining area was on the vacant side, so I'm sure the setting of their air con accommodates body heat at the max occupancy.. Bonus: patio seating is available. Time for us to order! When it was time to order, the fist team member to assist me was very friendly. I wish I had her name.. She was kind enough to explain how the Blaze treatment worked with a blushing smile on her face!! (yes.. She gets brownie points for that!) I decided to order three pizzas, one "meat eaters" and two build your own. (NOTE: each pizza is about the size of a medium pizza, come with about 6 slices and cost $7.95 each.. Including the build your own.. Unlimited toppings at no additional charge..) In addition, I ordered a side salad of aurigula and strawberry. This was incredable!! The dressing was a very nice (and thick) balsamic vinegar! The salad even included fresh blue berries and I wanna say feta cheese. Highly reccomended! After my pizzas were created, they were then tossed into the brick fire. I could be wrong, but they were done in about 5 mins!! (it was very fast!) Plates... This place doesnt offer any.. (that's why they are missing a star..) No paper, plastic, or ceramic plates are available.. But this mom always has a backup gameplan!! Use the pizza liners I said!! And so we did!! We each had a pizza liner.. Had it on the table like a placemat.. Worked like a charm! (You have to ask for these.. They were not offered!! ) Overall.. We enjoyed Blaze Pizza.. On Sept 20 there was an ad for 2 for 1 large pizzas online order. I tried to order online and could not get the order to go through. I was transferred to the phone order system. I was told they were having trouble with the online system. The person on the phone said she would place the order and honor the 2 for 1 deal. I picked the pizzas up and thought no more about it. When I checked my credit card account a few days later, there were two charges of $24.95. I have tried to find a way to report the issue but nothing seems to work. Been here a few times & LOVE this place! Yes, if you go in the evening (anything considered "dinner time") there will probably be a decent sized line. But it goes quickly & it's so worth it. Employees have been nothing but friendly & professional, ingredients are fresh & delicious, and for $8 for a custom pizza (unlimited toppings!!! & it's about the size of a medium from Pizza Hut) it's the same price or cheaper than a lot of other places. First let me say the pizza is pretty good! But the atmosphere is so off! We probably won't be coming back due to it. It feels like there's no real supervision of employees in the front line. My girlfriend created her pizza first and the pizza distributor skipped me (the next customer in line) and handed two pizza to be ahead of mine. The employees all were talking and laughing with each other and were too occupied with flirting than to do their job. The cashier was spacey and wasn't helpful at all. I did not get diarrhea from this pizza which I consider a win. Perhaps it's me being lactose intolerant or the fact I typically eat two to three times the amount of food my doctor recommends per serving, but pizza normally gives me the squirts and Blaze did not. Bravo Blaze. The BBQ chicken pizza here is great. I see quite a bit of complaining on here and that's unfortunate because Blaze is some good stuff. It's priced right, it's quick, it's clean, and it's really good. The thin crust is great, the BBQ sauce is yummy, and they give you free ranch sides which I appreciate. This joint has been very busy since opening which is a great sign I think. While some people might bitch that this pizza doesn't have this or that, pizza is one of those foods where the variety of how different places cook it is half the fun. Blaze doesn't taste like Dominos, or Stadium, or Papa Murphys, etc and that's FINE! They all taste different and that's great. Blaze does a great job with their pizza and I most definitely will be back next time I visit my psychologist in Temecula. read more
