I went here for dinner with the family. I usually go to the Downtown Orange location, but decided to give this new location a try. The line was long, but the seating was not. Getting through the line was a feat in itself because it too so long. It was most likely slow for 2 reasons: 1) people ordered multiple pizzas with specific toppings, and 2) the place recently opened, so staff was new and just learning the ropes. I really like the Downtown Orange location better because service is fast, location is very lively and full of energy. On the positive side, the pizza was great. read more

This place tops my favorite pizza places! As a vegetarian (at times, vegan) I appreciate that they have so much variety, including vegan cheese. They are very accommodating, change gloves when they know we are vegetarians (which I also appreciate since other establishments don't even really offer to do that) - so yes, eat here. Pizza was good, only one staff in 8 had a personality. A lady in line ordered 6 pizza and had to keep walking up and down the line while checking ea on her cell but the worst part was not seriously holding up the line but rather she kept running her hand through her hand and rubbing her ears and kept hanging her hands way over the spit guard glass and over all the ingredients. Even after I got out of line and complained "only" about her unsanitary actions while other also saw, they did nothing and said nothing. Also appeared to be no one in charge. The guy cutting the pizza had a much larger beard then the other but wore no hair guard as well. VERY disappointed for my first visit and won't be back. Part 2, was contacted about my experience and offered a free pizza to give them another chance. So over 2 weeks later I went back on a Friday at 6:30pm. Was so happy to hear Blaze pizza now offered a Keto pizza. Pizza has been one of the biggest things I've missed since goes on the diet, having to get by with expensive microwave pizzas that use chicken as replacement for the crust. I love Blaze but this experience was ridiculous. There was no one in there and yet it took 36 minutes to get my 4 pizzas. They started helping people behind me. Then when I mentioned it they started packing up my burnt pizzas without the sauces that go on at the end. They drenched my 7 year old's regular pizza in pesto and my picky eater will not eat that. Went in for dinner tonight with my husband and my son. We were greeted very abruptly when we walked up and asked if we were ready to order. Throughout the pizza making process, the girl seemed very irritated that we were bothering her. At the register I ordered a cookie and when she handed it to me, I asked if they still heat them up. Her response was, "Oh do you want it heated up?" Again acting as if we were bothering her. When we went to our seat, I found a set of AirPods in the seat someone had left behind. I walked up to the counter to turn them in, and the manager was at the cash register. He looked up to me and said, "What's up?" I responded with, "Did you really just say what's up to me?" He replied, "yeah." I turned in the AirPods, so hopefully if somebody goes back to look for them, they'll actually return them. I will never forget how an employee screamed, literally screamed, at my elderly mother today. We were shopping in the Orange Circle and my mother had to use the restroom right now. We went to the first place possible as there isn't any thing down there for people. We knew Blaze had a restroom because we had eaten lunch there earlier that day. As my mom headed back an employee screamed in front of everyone that the restroom is not for the public to use. She was so embarrassed. She was so upset that she had a slight accident and wanted to go home. It was such a nice day and it is too bad there isn't anything available for people like my mom who have serious bladder issues. People in general really should have access. So while yes I get it that you don't want constant streams of people in your facility...,you do need consumers to spend ample time down there and that's not possible without having a place to use the restroom. If you are against the restroom usage then you need to appeal to the city to provide it otherwise you are ruing your own business as well as your nearby businesses. This place really needs to consider hiring more people or retraining the ones they already have. I placed an online order for pick up with an 18 minute time frame before it was ready. I got in a little early so I waited patiently verified that they had my ticket in order and they confirm they did. 28 minutes later I went back up to the counter to check on it and they didn't even have it in the pipeline of orders that were oh prob 8 deep. The purpose of the online order is convenience for those with tight schedules. I would have been better off I. Line waiting for that 30 min. To top it off they did not offer or put it on rush. Came in to the N. Tustin location around 10:45 pm on Thursday because my friend and I were craving Blaze! We walked in as two men were serving 3 guests. One of the guys abruptly shouted "we're closed." My friend mentioned that we saw on the door they closed at 11 and he rudly said no we're closed now. As I work at a restaurant I understand the struggle of people coming in so close to closing time but if your door says 11, it means 11. We would have appreciated an apology and letting us know they had used all the dough or at least SOMETHING. Meanwhile the other guy who looked like the Supervisor, stood there on his phone and said nothing. There new app has some issues. This is the second time I have had a missing item. The new third party delivery is more expensive and worse. The delivery people don't care and don't want to resolve the issue. There is no phone if something goes wrong. The complaint process does not always work. First off, incredible service. The manger is the bomb. This place had a line out the door today. I asked why...$3.14 pizza day. The line went quick and the staff at the counter where incredibly kind...especially considering the line had consistent been outside and along the font of the business. Staff there deserve recognition and so does the manager for having his troops all ready to go. I ordered two pizzas. One at $3.14 and the other at regular price (only one per customer at the $3.14. Love the pizza and will return, but they need to reconsider their policy and making pizzas in order in which they received the order. This puts preference to online orders while I'm standing in line forever watching them continue to make pizzas. The others can be pushed back a few seconds...I was the only one in line. When I was about ready to walk out after the tenth pizza the two people were making (that's right, one couldn't do online and the other help me), someone came over. They got my name and asked what dough, then turned around and started on another pizza for someone else. If the other guy hadn't jumped in to help me right after O would have walked out. I get the doing them in order thing, but it's BS to make a single customer stand there for that long in preference of people who are literally not here yet. This location is my husband and I's favorite pizza location from the various Blaze spots we have visited. The staff here are very friendly. The serving utensils are clean and the staff are polite as the pizzas are made. The portions are great too! Danny has always been very nice on each visit to this location, and cuts our pizza in small slices upon request which makes it easier to enjoy. My husband would eat here every day if he could, haha, but we definitely make this a date night meal weekly because of the great customer service and Blaze rewards program. This review isn't for the food as it was great but about the employees. I'm pretty sure one of the employees is the same one a previous yelper mentioned. So let's start, ordered my pizzas and let me tell you I've been to many Blaze pizzas. What I noticed right off the bat was the bad body language I was getting from the guy working the oven (same guy I am sure from prev yelper) and I'm going to assume the manager tonight at 5pm. It was like how dare I come into their establishment and interrupt their socializing. So my pizza gets in the oven and by this time 5 girls plus who I assume is the manager are by the cash register just talking. Pizza oven guy starts yelling at one to start cutting up my pizza and no one and I mean no one not even the manager stop taking and so this goes on for awhile and my pizza I swear sat there for 5 minutes and then one girl finally did it but she did not look to happy. My family come to this location often, however after our last order where they screwed up the order and never replied to us when we brought it up to their attention will result in us going elsewhere. I placed a to go order and my order was for half pizza and a salad, my husbands order was for a full pizza. My husband placed the order online and paid for it, I went on my way home from work to pick it up. I got home and my husband tried reaching out to them to let them know they messed up his order. Of course no one answers the phone so we emailed the complaint. The only response we have heard was from corporate. And since this location is a franchise we probably won't hear from them.
