Love, love, love this place. My first time at Blaze was in ABQ, NM before relocating back to Southern California. I was thrilled to drive through the Orange Circle and see Blaze on the corner. My two (11) year old boys and I love the pizza and have tried several different types. My favorite is the Red Vine with heaps of the fresh mozzarella cheese. Sometimes I add Sausage and Onions, depending on my mood. My kids prefer the thicker crust but I will stick with the standard, thin and crispy. Went with my sister on a Sunday and there was no line when we got there in the later afternoon. I like the idea of building your own pizza with the toppings of your choice. It's about $8 for a build your own pizza or you can pick one from their signature pizza list. For the sauce I went with the spicy red sauce which wasn't spicy at all. Cheese I went with the ricotta and parmesan. Meats I went with bacon, chicken, and ham. Veggies I went with pineapple, mushroom, basil, roasted garlic, red peppers, sauteed onions, and spinach. Pizza was on the thin side if you like that. Not skimpy with any of the toppings either! Service was good. The guy that was putting on my toppings was nice. One of the girls(manager I believe) then checked and the order was not put in the pos. She said it had not gone through supposedly. Solid 5 stars for this style of pizza place. I liked that they have a spicy red sauce which I mixed with the white sauce to make a great creamy tasting sauce to start my pizza off. Probably the best thing about these guys is their sauce. The toppings are very much similar to everyone else who does this style of pizza which is good so there is some cohesiveness. Gave me a hard time about using the bathroom! I bought a pizza and ate it in the restaurant with my group. When I was finished and headed toward the bathrooms, there was this little dude "guarding" the hallway to the bathroom. He didn't have a name tag on so I'll just call him Dick. Dick asked to see my receipt. When I gave him my receipt, he said "ok" and walked away with it. I told him I needed to keep my receipt and with a rude and snarky attitude he said that I couldn't have it back, then proceeded to tear it in half in front of me. I told him again that I actually really did need to keep my receipt, so he ripped it some more and shoved it into a box of other receipts. I have to say, he seemed to be enjoying this power Blaze Pizza had given him to treat customers in this way. He then said, again with full snark, "Go talk to the manager." Dick acted like a little bully with no customer service skills whatsoever. I had to now go back to the register and wait for two new receipts to be printed, another one to give Dick AGAIN since I still hadn't used the bathroom, and one for myself to keep. When I spoke to the manager, she told me they didn't want people coming back in a second time to use the bathroom. Seriously?! Then just mark my receipt with a sharpie so you know I used your filthy bathroom and then give it back. No need to be snatching people's receipts and tearing them up like that little Dick dude did. And as I mentioned, the bathroom was filthy. I do not recommend Blaze if you care at all about customer service. I suggest Pizza Rev which is cheaper and tastes better, and I've never encountered anyone working there named Dick. read more

I really enjoyed my meal at Blaze. Unlimited toppings for $8 is a great deal, especially when the toppings are unique and fresh. I am a cheese fiend, so when I saw how many cheese options they had, I was in heaven. One mistake I made was asking for extra fresh mozzarella--this made the final product way too soggy. Oh well, still tasty. The white sauce was great, and my husband really liked the spicy red sauce. In addition to my pizza, I ordered a s'mores pie and took the cashier's advice to have it heated up. So good, but definitely something I could make at home. Glad I tried it though! I also ordered a fountain drink with the intent of getting Diet Coke. That is, until I saw the blood orange lemonade. MAN is that stuff good! Worth every calorie. I would go back for that alone. My only complaint...and it isn't even a complaint, but a matter of preference...is the wood fired aspect. I'm not crazy about a slightly burned crust, but I know others are. And yes, I know it's their "thing" but it's just not my style. Very disappointed with the service and the food. Lots of people behind the counter but service was very slow. The on duty manager served us, very skimpy on the toppings. Then the pizzas were sitting on the counter getting cold. Told the guy that was ours and he said they were very busy right now. The pizza was cold and burn. The blaze Pizza is in the perfect place that it gets a great crowd at dinner time. This is my first time coming to this location for it has just opened up. Located at the Orange Circle, I found this Blaze Pizza to be pretty fast. Even with a long line, once you start making your pizza, it isn't long before you are able to get a nice hot pizza. For a good prince you can make your own pizza with any topping and as much of each topping that you want for a flat price. If you're looking for a quite place to eat, you won't find it here. It has a very tall open ceiling that lets any and every sound just echo around you. A very popular place that can get quite a line, you should come probably not around dinner time. That seems to be the time that the line seems the longest. There is quiet a few chairs tables and benches to sit at, but even if you are at the end of the line with all the seating taken, there is still a good chance that you will be getting a seat inside by the time you have paid for your pizza.. I find the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Even dining with my boy friend (the one allergic to dairy) was very easy to make sure that no one bit of dairy product touched his food. They pulled out brand new containers of food that hasn't had a chance to be contaminated and made his pizza very carefully. Over all, I have found this Blaze Pizza not only to be very delicious, but much better than any "normal" pizza place that seems to over charge you if you want extra toppings. read more
