I have been to this Blaze Pizza (in Lancaster, California) several times, and I have always had a good experience while here. My most recent visit to this location was for Valentine's Day (2025). My valentine and I had just come from seeing a movie, but we weren't snacking during the movie, so we were both ready for a nice meal. We decided to come here because we wanted a meal that was relatively simple, but we also wanted to choose a restaurant that consistently had good food. The entrance was clean and inviting. Ordering took a little longer than it should have, but I believe this was because they were short-staffed during our visit. The food bins were a little messy, but all the bins appeared to be well-stocked with fresh ingredients. The young lady that made our pizzas was friendly and professional. We decided to sit inside while eating because it was a rather cold evening in Lancaster during our visit. When I looked around for someplace inside pleasant to sit, I was pleased to see how clean it was. In fact, there was not a single table that was dirty, so the Blaze Pizza team was obviously doing a great job of cleaning up the tables after customers departed. We only had to wait a few minutes until our pizzas were ready. They were magnificent, and we thoroughly enjoyed eating our delicious pizzas together while we talked about the movie we had just watched along with other topics. It was late when we came in but they were still open, one girl was doing the orders and ringing up customers. The wait time was a little longer then expected but she did apologize for it and was very helpful through the whole build your own pizza process. I got the cauliflower crust (yes there's an up charge on it) but it's better than the gluten free crust they have. I got it with all the veggies I liked and then also grabbed a regular pizza as well. When mine was done she pulled it out and asked if I wanted it a little more crispy (knowing my crust takes a little longer). I took it as is, pizza was tasty and exactly what I wanted. I started coming back to this store because there is an amazing young man that works here now that gives amazing customer service and he keeps the restaurant clean when he's there. The last 2 visits he has been off and the customer service is bad again. Today I walked in and there was a young lady sweeping the floor behind the counter. She greeted me and told me she'd be right with me. Awesome. Then she puts down the broom and dust pan and grabs gloves to put on without washing her hands. I asked her to please wash her hands 1st and she got an attitude with me and barely did so. She comes to make my pizza and was very sloppy. Rushing me when no one was behind me. I spoke with the manager about it and it didn't seem like she really cared either. We live in a time that restaurants are closing because of the higher food and labor costs. You all have to do better to keep the customers you still have. I will only order from here when the amazing young man is here. He actually cares that I'm spending my money there. Customer service has to be a priority. I'm not a mean or rude person. I'm very patient with them when they're busy. read more

This is one of my favorite pizza places today when I went in for my lunch, which I usually do about twice or three times a month today was not a good day. I usually get the pick two high-rise go the gentleman that helped me grab the dough from the second tray and it was hard and you can tell that it was it needed. It was over proofed, but he proceeded to do it anyway I usually get the Caesar salad but I wanted to try the meatballs today. My pizza was done. I waited about four minutes for the meatballs, which were horrible. I was expecting them to be cooked in the sauce. It was two frozen meatballs, sitting in sauce with cheese, feta cheese and pepper Cheaneys on the side I cut the meatball to taste it. It was still slightly cold. Yeah today I can say it was the worst day of me spending $16 that I usually would be glad to spend at blaze today was not a good day. I went in today around 2:10 PM. The pesto cheesy bread was great, and service was fast, however I do have to say that they go way too crazy with the balsamic vinegar. I ordered a custom pizza and I was expecting the balsamic to be a drizzle like what is shown in their photos, but my pizza was drowned in it. I had to use quite a few paper towels to dab the majority of it off cause you couldn't even taste anything other than balsamic. Idk if the person who made it doesn't know how strong balsamic is or if it was an accident but if you're going to order a pizza with olive oil or balsamic, make sure you specify just a drizzle or else it's all you'll see and smell when you open your box. Staff is nice in person and I'm sure they mean well, but when you order online, they don't get the order right. Also, if you're sensitive to white refined sugar, the red sauce has a ton of it. Your fingers will start aching before you've finished your meal. At least tonight they actually did extra light sauce. But they left off an ingredient - in their *own recipe* (veggie). It wasn't a complex custom order. Ugh. I order here because both of the gluten-free crust options truly are good, and if you go light cheese on a simple veggie the calories aren't outrageous, but to get your order right you have to go in person and lord over them like a total jerk. We were told there was nothing they could do because it's first come, first serve, and the employees just looked at each other like we were an inconvenience. To make matters worse, they started pulling out their phones to text instead of addressing the situation. Normally, I'm very understanding, but when the staff is rude and there's no one else in the store, it's incredibly frustrating. It's now 7:50, and our order is STILL not ready.
