Blaze is the best use of free will for a pizza because I love thin crust and putting as many topping as I want. I pick all these cheeses that look fancy, I don't care if they conflict I love all the varying flavors and textures. Then I do a bunch of veggies that would be good with charcuterie like tomato and garlic. I do not add peppers and onion I hate the way they ruin a pizza. Then I ask for arugula which the pizza artist does not know about so I point at the container with leaves and then he understands. It's ok pizza sir it's a pretty pretentious word for rabbit food. Cooking magazines put arugula on everything nowadays so I do too. The pesto here inspired me to make pesto at home. Why would I get my pizza with tomato sauce when they have pesto which is way more interesting and a pretty shade of green. These days I'm very interested in all things pesto. This is the only place where it's acceptable to eat a whole pizza with unlimited toppings by myself. If I do that somewhere else people will worry about me. read more

The point of Blaze is that it's fast fire'd, not sure why I'm waiting over 20 minutes for a pizza and cheese bread from an oven that's over 500 degrees. Once I got my food, my pizza was borderline burnt on the bottom. There was no efficiency present in this store. Specific to this location: Friendly employees and relatively clean. We didn't have to wait in line long and were greeted as we came in. We were also offered finishing a (arugula, sauces, etc) and many locations don't seem to do that now. Subtracting one star for : lacking of oregano shaker, no Coke Zero option in the fountain, and a less than spotless restroom (not awful, but not great either). We went March 14 for National Pie Day. They had a promotion where you buy one pizza you get the second on for $3.14. In previous years you could just buy one pizza for $3.14. We went for an early dinner and they were not busy. They had the music really loud. To the point where we could not hear the employees and they could not hear us. I am not a fan of red sauce so I ordered pesto as my sauce. The color was a brown green. I told them everything I wanted on my pizza. They cooked it. It was terrible. There was something that did not taste right. The ricotta cheese was like a paste when they put it on, and when it came out of the oven, it was like a melted grainy blob on the pizza. I scraped it all off. I only ate a couple of pieces and threw the rest away. My husband's pizza was just as terrible. He use to go to a location on the north side all of the time before it closed. This will be our last visit to this location and probably my last visit to Blaze ever! read more

July 31, 2025 I could not be more grossed out! I just watched. Christian drop the tool they use to rotate and remove pizzas from the oven on the floor it literally fell bounced up and fell back to the floor again. He picked it up and hung it back on the hook. The other guy, LB went to retrieve the pizzas from the oven and used that same tool. I asked for a refund immediately. LB was apologetic and said he didn't know when it fell that he didn't take it to the back. While waiting for over 15 minutes to get the refund (so much for a quick lunch run) I watched the other guy, LB knock 6 wood boards that they used to transport the pizzas from the assembly station to the pizza oven on the floor. Christian came right behind him picked them up and put them on the shelf with the others. Neither LB nor the manager said a word. So clearly this is something they do often. This is beyond nasty!!!!! I will never EVER step foot in that location again. I know that eating at fast food restaurants can be risk that you have to be willing to take, but what you do behind my back is totally different from what I see with my own two eyes. Not that I condone any nastiness at fast food places, but I cannot complain about what I do not see. Welp not only did I not get lunch but the manage said I have to wait 5 days for my refund. I love blaze. I used to go to the one of Carmel all the time when I would go visit my brother, but since he moved, I haven't had blaze in like four years. I've been craving blaze for like a month, but I didn't want to drive all the way up to Carmel to get my fix. From Southside it's about a 30 minute drive and I just didn't want to deal with the construction. So I googled what the closest blaze was and turns out it was over near IUPUI. So I decided to pop in there. The service was great. The girl who helped us out was really nice, but it was hard to hear her because the music inside the restaurant is so, so loud. It did take her forever to make our pizzas though. And the toppings were sparse as hell . When I went to the one up in Carmel, they really hooked it up with the toppings. I got an all meat pizza and I counted the pepperoni. There were only 12 and like 15 pieces of crumbled meatballs. I thought they were going to be meatballs and bacon and ham. But I'm not holding that against them. I didn't read what the "meateater" actually was. My fault for assuming that was their version of the meat lover pizza. The dough tasted flat and no where near fresh. The price for 3 people with pizza, a salad and drinks was only $42 so that wasn't bad. I did love that they now have a Keto choice. It was just disappointing because the crust was meh and they were stingy with the toppings. They then cook it right in front of you and you get your pizzas exactly as you like it. The prices are reasonable, the people are helpful and friendly, and there is plenty of parking outside. It is also in a great location! The blaze app gives you rewards every once in a while, and their drinks are always very good. As a Celiac, my pizza options are limited and I've frequented Blaze Pizza from time to time since they generally have good options for gluten-free crusts and toppings. However, after tonight's visit, I'm done. This location hit all the negatives -- poor food, lateness and being rude. Not a good business model, Blaze. I set my order for curbside at a time when the restaurant was not busy, 4:45 on a Tuesday. In fact, I was able to park in the spot literally facing the front door, just a few feet away. When I pulled up to the curbside and called, I was told the pizzas were in the oven and it would be two minutes. After waiting more than 10 minutes, I called again, and was told that someone would bring them out. When I politely asked about the delay, the person who answered the phone hung up on me. A 10+ minute wait past my ordering time, and beyond the two minutes I was promised, is inexcusable. Especially considering that the restaurant was not busy at that time. After I got home, I was even more disappointed with my order. Because Blaze pizzas are notoriously dry, my order called for extra sauce, which was not provided. Cook time: 3-4 minutes, stone fire oven Price: $9.75, any toppings, inch smaller than Pizza Hut medium Toppings: over 20 toppings Outside of that list, there are options for vegan, gluten, keto, and cauliflower crust. Also six cheeses, and six drizzles which are sauces that are poured over the pizza after they come from the oven. I have heard of individuals pizza being undercooked after coming out of the oven, and I could probably say that I've experienced that once. The lines do have a tendency to be a bit lengthy. I opted to make my own with white sauce, spinach, roasted garlic, and butternut squash and topping it off with the maple fire drizzle. My boyfriend got the butternut squash menu option. This was really good and there were plenty of topping options! The maple fire drizzle was pretty dang spicy, so just FYI it was pretty overpowered with red pepper flakes. This place is a well oiled machine. They were fast and efficient. I ordered a create your own pizza. I liked how you can choose other sauces instead of the traditional red sauce for your pizza. I also loved how they have great topping selections! Most places will have black olives but never green olives. Kudos to Blaze for having those and overall a good topping selection. They looked fresh and were great on the pizza. They added a lot of toppings no skimping. The toppings to cheese ratio was perfect. Once they added what you want they send it off to the fire oven. Once it's done you can pick "drizzles" to add to your pizza. I chose ranch which was great because I love ranch. Next time I will try the olive oil. They boxed it up in a nice box and off I go. I forgot to try the garlic knots and the s'mores they're known for. I will be back because it was a great pizza and the employees you could tell were happy and engaging with the customers. Wome love the pizza here. They seem to not have enough staff to handle the volume of orders. One guy at the pizza oven and the DoorDash people were crowded around that area where the pizzas are cut. The to go orders never make it out to that to go kiosk. Two of our pizzas were done and we went back up there in 10 minutes and the other were sitting there and he kept telling us they weren't our pizzas that the DoorDash people took ithem by accident.
