Fast and very tasty; tomato sauce has just the right amount of bite. I opted for the Carnivore this time with pesto finish. The only drawback is that the pizza was extra oily/greasy when received and it was even a little bit difficult to eat with hands. But this concept is still a great one. read more

Been going here since it opened. Always nice friendly people and pizza was always delicious, and ready to pick up when I arrived. However, the last three times I ordered to pick up the workers there go out of their way to purposely ignore you. They removed the self service pick up shelf and now you have to beg for your purchase. It WAS NOT busy. In fact it has been very slow there as of late and I figured out why. I feel like the mall is closing or the renovations and maybe they're closing too. Who knows.. I am not returning read more

Been coming here for months since I moved to the area. Last time I ordered I asked for 2 half toppings. 2 halfs make a whole, no? So skimpy on toppings I never saw before. Had to remind someone to take out of oven. Yes, sort of burnt. Charged me for 2 toppings for the first time. Very disappointed, will not return. read more

This location has gone downhill. I don't usually critique businesses, but I had an unpleasant experience here at my recent visit. First, they have a new register system, and it was giving a problem with my reward and my gift card. The food itself tasted bland and the quality wasn't there and wasn't what it used to be. To top it all off, there was a bug in one of my ice cubes, and the workers did not offer any restitution for it. Overall disappointed and I won't be coming back to this location any time soon. read more

Chain place isn't usually my thing but I had wanted to try this for awhile now, create your own pizza! Feta as a choice omg. So after Ikea shopping we grabbed lunch to go from here. I mean I love feta so I was like yay and all excited. I just didn't expect it to be like tiny like 5 pieces barely on the pizza. It was good but honestly dominos you can get feta and it's actually huge pieces on the pizza. Looking at my pizza it looked almost like just a regular. Maybe I missed if there was like a double option when ordering or something. My hubs loved his. I'd try it again but probably not running back there. I just expected lots of feta, if I wanted a regular pizza I woulda gotten that :P read more

Love this place for pizza because you can pick one of the options from the menu or create your own. They have a lot of toppings to choose from, so I'll usually create my own. This place is definitely not kid friendly and even without my children I would never go there again. My 3 year old son wanted a pepperoni pizza so I got him one. Unfortunately the pepperoni was spicier than usual for him. They refused to give him a cup for tap water unless I paid $2.99 to get it out of their soda fountain. My son was screaming and crying because his mouth was burning. Either way, I'll never go back here and I'll make sure to tell all my friends and family to go somewhere else instead of here. After a long hiatus, (you've seen my previous reviews) we decided to see if things have changed at blaze. Here's my assessment. 1) staff friendliness still needs a lot of work. They are cold and unfriendly, period. The improvement is this time they weren't rude. 2) They cleaned the oven!!!! No residue on the crust this time, improving taste. 3) still mixing ingredients but the tins are cleaner. The pizza taste is more enjoyable again but the above issues is what brings the rating down read more

Blaze is an easy quick meal. I don't come often but I do like it very much. It's not New York pizza but take it for what it is. Today I'm having barbecue chicken with pineapple. The place is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is not expensive and it is fresh and made to order. I saw today that they have a cauliflower crust option. It's on the side of the broadway mall so there's lots of parking. It's totally handicap accessible. Give it a try. read more

How fun is this place? This is my first time visiting such an establishment where you customize your own pizza, like you do at a Chipotle. The pies are basically personal pies about equivalent to two regular slices you would get at a regular pizzeria. Crusts are ultra thin just the way I like it. They even have cauliflower crusts! I'm not fancy like that as I prefer good ol' regular gluten but my husband ordered his pie with a cauliflower crust and honestly they both were very similar tasting - I couldn't even tell! It does cost an extra $3.50 for the cauliflower crust but I guess it's worth it if it makes you feel better about yourself, and of course if you can not tolerate wheat for any reason. You can create a personalized pie completely out of scratch from the type of crust, to the sauce, the cheese, to the topping. All of it. I chose a signature pie (meat eater) to make it easier and customized that as we went down an assembly line of toppings. I added basil, chopped garlic, oregano, and a sprinkle of sea salt. And it was so so so delicious! The servers were very friendly and patient with my first-time self. I can absolutely see myself coming back in the future with my boys, and often too. read more

This place needs to be shut down. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza - absolutely the most disgusting thing I have eaten in my life! Chicken is not fresh and the dough was very floury and lacked flavor. I always have, are, and will be a borderline pizza addict. I absolutely love blaze pizza and the way you can customize your pizza to whatever you like best. I like to do the build your own pizza which Is approximately $9 and truly could feed 1 or 2 people but if you're hungry you can totally eat the whole pie. Besides the build your own they also offer specialty pies, one toppings pies, and even a simple pie with is just cheese and sauce. For the dough choices you can do regular crust, high rise, or even gluten free. They have many sauce , cheese, meat, and veggie toppings to choose from for the ultimate customization. Everything is fresh and the pizza I made was delicious. I did the regular crust build your own with sauce, mozzarella and fresh mozzarella cheese, spinach, meatballs, and mushrooms. After your pizza is done in the oven which only takes about 2 mins you can choose to do a sauce drizzle on top. I decided to do the balsamic drizzle and it really brought the whole pizza together. Service is great and friendly and then really keep the place very clean. There is free parking and it is located next to many stores in the Broadway mall. If you haven't been there already you really should check it out. Affordable, delicious, and quick and easy. read more

They are kinda stingy with the amount they add at first but if you ask, the workers will definitely add more. Also, this place isnt very vegetarian or vegan friendly. If you're someone who does not like the mixing of meat and vegetables this place isn't it. It was too late for me to back out, so I went though with my order but I definitely asked the workers to change his gloves (which he looked inconvenienced by :/) because he was carelessly dipping in meat and vegetables. I know it's almost impossible to avoid a little contamination, but I wish there was more of an effort to avoid mixing. Taste wise, blaze does make great pizzas so I can't complain. read more

Blaze Pizza - byo pizza - Salad Near Me - Hicksville, New York

If you like thin crust pizza this is the best place to get it. They offer a great selection of toppings, along with friendly service.

I heard a lot of good things about Blaze Pizza and I finally had it in October of last year. The place is pretty clean and has somewhat of a Chipotle style interior with an adequate seating area. I got a build your own pizza ($8.45) and a soft drink ($2.35). Total came out to $11.73 with tax included. They give you choices on what kind of sauce you want; I chose the spicy red sauce. I got bunch of stuff for toppings including pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushrooms, peppers, etc... I was blown away by how good it was. I was thinking beforehand that Blaze must be a hard sell in the NYC / LI area due a lot of good pizza being available locally. As I was eating mine though, I was thinking damn, this is really good. The pizza was thin and crunchy and the ingredients tasted pretty quality status. It was very satisfying and was also a lot of food; you might be able to get away with splitting one with a friend. I have a bigass appetite and even I took home my last slice because I couldn't finish it. The spicy red sauce actually contains a lot of heat and got me panting a bit. Their soft drink machine has some options outside of the typical coke / sprite stuff. I got a root beer whose name I forget and it was really good. So that added to the enjoyment I experienced from my meal. I was debating giving this 5 stars, but I think 4 stars is the right rating. I might've given out the final star if the meal was under $10.50ish. The $11.73 I paid for this meal is almost justified by the quality of the pizza and how big it is. Seems like Blaze pizza brings something unique into the food landscape even with the pizza joints we have locally. I guess that is a good thing. read more

I've been going to blaze for some time and it has never disappointed! The staff is always so friendly, helpful and very patient. This concept is like chipotle style but for pizzas. They have a build-your-own option which I think is one of the best options to get. On my pizza I got pesto sauce on the crust (which I highly recommend!!!) with red sauce with mozzarella cheese. For my toppings I got pineapple, mushroom, bacon, artichoke, green bell peppers and pepperoni. They then put my pizza in a fireplace oven which makes the pizza so crunchy and much better than a regular oven. Afterwards, I got arugula on top with some balsamic glaze. It was amazing as always. Blaze is a amazing. I recommended it to anyone who wants a quick convenient and cheap lunch or dinner! read more

If you're in the mood for a pizza with unlimited toppings this is the place for you! For about $10 you can load your pizza with whatever you would like. First start with the sauce; they have regular marinara, spicy marinara, pesto, or a white Alfredo like sauce. Then you pick your cheese with mozzeralla and about 5 or more other cheeses you can choose from to add. Then they have various meats. For example, grilled chicken, Italian meatballs, sausage, pepperoni, salami, bacon, Spicy chorizo. Now if you're not into meats they have many veggie options you can load up on into your pizza! Just about anything you can think would go into a pizza they have! Now once you've got your pizza with all the toppings and pay and all of that, they fire it up right away in the pizza oven and call your name when it's finished! For my pizza I got regular marinara sauce with mozzarella and ricotta cheese. For the meats I chose Italian meatballs, grilled chicken and spicy chorizo. All of them were great but I just wish the chorizo was spicier but that's just my preference. Then I loaded with onions, olives, pineapples, artichoke and banana peppers! At the end, I topped it off with some bbq sauce and ranch! They also have a rewards program on their app where you can get things like free dessert and even free pizza. You just have to scan the barcode on the receipt and the points will automatically be added within an hour to your account. Very simple!!! Would recommend for anybody that's craving a quick bite of pizza with loads of toppings!!! read more

Friendly service and helpful. Food was very good and the facility was neat and clean.

This review is terribly overdue but absolutely deserving of a five star rating. These guys are located adjacent to the broadway commons mall in Hicksville. Conveniently surrounded by ikea, Panera, target, a movie theater and several other shops and a food court. We love blaze for the quick and easy ordering. The staff here are helpful, and eager to please. They are pleasant and efficient in the ordering process. Although blaze pizza has a menu of pre-selected toppings, the build your own is the star of the show. There are endless topping choices and you can visit many times and have different pizzas each time. Best advice is to order different toppings and share among your party. Yep, these brick oven pizzas are made on the premises right before your eyes. Custom brick oven pizzas in personal size and refillable drink station at under $10, how do you beat that? Don't forget to pre-order your s'mores so it's warmed up and kept in the oven for you when you're finished with your pizza. If you have left overs, no worries! They have pre-made boxes in two sizes for you to take your pizza home. Also, remember to download the blaze app to score points for treats on your next visit! read more

Love the option to make your own pizza. Their 11 inch BYO pizza is the best! You can load it up with the toppings you like. They don't skim out either. One of the few places that have roasted garlic and arugula. I normally order red sauce, smoked ham, pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella, parmesan, mushroom, roasted red pepper, arugula, BBQ drizzle and balsamic glazed. I love the flavors from all the ingredients. Of course, they also have good deals on simple pizza or try one of their signature ones. Glad that they have been there for all my pizza cravings during COVID. read more

Indeed the age of chipotlization is upon us my friends. Name a type of cuisine and I am sure someone opened up a place where there is a "salad bar" of options behind glass for you to choose.. Blaze is that type of place when it comes to custom pizzas. It seems like a great concept with an unlimited selection of toppings, but to my taste buds it seems like a case of quantity over quality. I went for the "Link In", which is Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, sauteed onions, mozzarella, red sauce - what should have been a flavor explosion came off kinda bland. The red sauce tasted like canned tomato paste, the sausage a bit dry with no distinctive flavor and even the onions were meh. Although they cook these pizzas in a "blazing hot oven" for about 180 seconds it doesn't achieve the perfect char on the bottom, or the pillowy lightness of well made, hand stretched pizza dough as true coal fire pizza ovens produce. I do have to say I liked the "agua fresca", a lower calorie water flavored with fruit, with the prickly pear one being better than the lime mint. I truly don't understand how chain pizzerias proliferate in NY when there are so many classic, amazing pizza joints around doing things so much better. Here's a suggestion - go see Bill Massa, a descendant of both Patsy Grimaldi and Patsy Lancieri, over at Massa's in Huntington - If it's lunch time, he'll serve you up a real deal personal pizza for slightly less than what they charge here. He may not offer unlimited toppings, but you won't miss them! read more

5 star for these ready made - pick -your -topping pies. My teenage daughter has been looking to try Blaze at the Broadway Mall... I typically dislike these places and find the crust just a step up from a cardboard box and the toppings mediocre. I was pleasantly surprised with my Pesto/ roasted garlic/ fresh tomato/ zucchini/grilled chicken/ red onion with a finishing Pesto drizzzllleeee pie.
