easily some of the best slices of pizza i've ever had. my teen son and i stopped in after an afternoon of shopping at the local lax store and we mulled over the idea of one pie but settled on two and im glad because i ate an entire pie myself!!! amazing. great stuff, dewitt / blaze pizza! read more

They have good vegetarian options. The pizza was good with option to make your own with unlimited toppings. The baking service was also good as they accommodated our request for crispy bake and avoid cross contamination. The ambiance was also good, with clean tables and dinner lighting read more

I know most people don't take time to review chain restaurants, but I couldn't not after having such a good experience. On Pi Day of all days! Blaze offers special pricing on this day every year that brings in an insane amount of people and if you're not ready to wait in line for 45+ minutes, don't bother stopping by. But if you are patient enough, you'll be happily surprised to be met with kind service, fairly speedy work, and a delicious, inexpensive pizza. My hat's off to the workers on this particular day. They did a fantastic job at managing the large crowd! read more

Ordered online for pickup. Normally I avoid chains, but after reading about how many unusual ingredients they have available, I decided to try their personal sized Veggie Pizza and Hawaiian Pizza. With the app I saved $5 on my first order. So, two pizzas came to about $20. These are thin crust, and with the amount of toppings, they both needed to be crisped in the oven at home, but the flavors were very good and I had no complaints. It probably makes more sense to order there and eat in, but time did not allow. read more

Blaze pizza never disappoints. We ordered a build your own 11 inch pizza with unlimited toppings. Being a vegetarian it is a goto place where you can include so many veggies in your pizza. They have many options for cheese, veggies and drizzle. Our favorite is the pesto drizzle. It is an assembly line service and the wood fired pizza is ready quickly. They have oregano, chilli flakes, Parmesan cheese and hot sauces which you can grab on the side. read more

Blaze always hits! Fast and super friendly service, and as good as I remembered it from years ago. Clean, plenty of parking, toppings looked fresh, restroom was clean. Great spot! read more

Service was great and the dining area was clean but sadly my pizza was a disappointment. The flavors were there and I love that you're able to customize your pizza from the crust to the toppings but my pizza was so chewy. I couldn't even finish a slice of pizza. Had the pizza and salad special. Chose the herbivore topped with pesto drizzle. Super yummy! Accompanied by a Caesar Salad and a lemonade it made a perfectly satisfying meal. Bring your appetite. You won't be disappointed. read more

TL;DR: Recommended. Will repeat. **Ambiance and staff** This place has plentiful parking space. Wait time was short, and we found a good option for seating. The dining space was clean and with wooden tables and chairs. The staff was friendly. **Food** We ordered three build-your-own and one two-topping. All the pizzas came out hot and tasty. The variety of ingredients they offer for customizing your pizza is a real plus. The option to choose your own sauces and toppings allows you to make your perfect pie. **Overall** This is a good place, and I would recommend it. I will repeat for sure. read more

Absolute disappointment here. I ordered a pizza to pickup. I did tomato sauce, Fresh mozzarella, olives, arugula and balsamic glaze. That may sound gross to some but to me sounded great. It came on a dough that was thinner than a cracker. It was way overcooked. I like a little burnt bit not like this. The sauce was bland. The arugula was wilted. The olives tasted old. Just overall bad. I went here once before a few years ago and it was decent. I will not be back. read more

Blaze Pizza, a fast casual pizza chain known for its celebrity backers -NBA star LeBron James, former first lady of California Maria Shriver and Boston Red Sox co-owner Tom Werner, officially arrived in CNY in 2019 after eyeing our city for years. I'll preface this by saying...my 4 star rating is based on what I consider Blaze to be - a "fast food pizza" restaurant, if you will. It's very much the Subway of pizza. You can choose one of their signature pizzas, but much like Subway, it's an assembly line type restaurant - you walk up to a counter, pick your type of dough, sauce, cheese, toppings and finishes, and it's made right in front of you and cooked in about three minutes in a wood-fired oven that can get as hot as 900 degrees. Each pizza starts with a ball of dough that's stamped into a circle with a perfectly uniform rim using a machine. Gluten-free, cauliflower, Keto and a thicker high-rise crust are also available, albeit at a pretty high mark up. Most are probably gonna choose the personal 11-inch pizza, which is under $10 for the regular, VERY thin crust, but offers unlimited toppings. My wife and I ordered online so it would be ready when we got there. It was a half hour wait according to the site, but we got there at the 20 minute mark and our pizzas were just being taken out and cut. We did the patio two for $26 deal - two 11" pizzas, two drinks and two desserts. We both love lemonade, and they have several different flavored options. All of them were delicious, from blood orange to blackberry basil, and unlimited refills. The restaurant is surprisingly large, with plenty of tables for seating, and is modernly decorated. We got down to business and they weren't bad at all. I got a regular dough pizza, with spicy red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, artichokes, fresh basil, mozzarella, and a drizzle of both buffalo sauce and ranch. I'm not 100% sure what my wife got on hers, but she loaded up on the toppings as well. Both were made correctly and had plenty of toppings on them. Their spicy red sauce has a very mild kick to it, and their buffalo sauce is nice and hot. All the toppings were good, large pieces of meat and veggies. Neither of us were able to finish our pizza and were able to have leftovers. Employees were...there. They weren't outright rude or anything, but weren't going out of their way to be customer friendly. They were just kinda there doing their job. I really don't have much to complain about with the place. Is it the best pizza? Absolutely not. Again, if you consider it as fast food pizza, it's more than decent. It's better than chains such as Dominoes and Pizza Hut, but it's not going to surpass most fresh made, mom and pop type little pizza joints, which we have plenty to choose from here in CNY. But if you're looking to get a cheap, decent pizza made in under 5 minutes for a quick lunch, Blaze can absolute satisfy that craving. read more

I have never been to a Blaze Pizza before, but now this is one of my new fav spots! You can choose from a variety of cheeses, sauces, and toppings, but I love to get the BBQ Chicken pizza! I have gone twice now to this location and everyone is friendly, there is lots of seating, and I get my food very fast. I would definitely recommend trying one of their iced teas because they go great with the pizza. Open for takeout, delivery and dine-in! read more

Partner and I have eaten here twice in the last month. We both agree the pizza is very tasty. From the thin crispy crust to the assortment of toppings. And don't forget the finishing topping. Loved the arugula. Nice and clean and the employees are helpful and pleasant. We will always stop in when in the area. read more

Empty box with no pizza! Ordered three pizzas for pickup and two boxes had the pizza inside and the third did not. Might have noticed three empty boxes but not just one of three. Of the two pizzas I ordered one had the wrong sauce on it and the other one had all the ingredients clumped together. Furthermore the wrong pizza was in the wrong box which is not a big deal but it just reinforces the level of error. Tried calling to report the issue but nobody answered the phone. read more

Went thanks to the promotional deal on pie day ($3.15 pies). Because I got cauliflower crust it was a $4 upcharge... the most hefty upcharge I have ever seen for GF/Cauliflower options. Would have been $15 at full price. But, the pie was ridiculously delicious. Garlic pesto base, light mozz, Parm, bacon, spinach on cauliflower crust. Highly recommend. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the pie was soaking with grease (but hey that's what helps make it tasty), the cheesy bread my boyfriend had was bland, and the vibe was eh compared with similar fast casual spots like Chipotle. read more

Blaze Pizza is an excellent addition to a plaza crowded with other options for food and shopping. While I had first heard about Blaze as a chain starting to take off out West, we hadn't seen one in CNY until very recently. On a recent lunch trip, I decided to pop in with a co-worker and see what the buzz was about. Right out of the gate, you are presented with a lot of customization options for your pie. They have several crust options (including GF), and from there you have a choice of sauce and many, many toppings. I opted for the standard crust and tried some sausage, feta and spinach on my pizza. About 10 minutes after ordering, a hot and fresh pizza was boxed up for me and ready to go. While it's easy to assume you may not get your value's worth for a fairly pricey individual pizza, you would be wrong. I couldn't finish my "personal" sized pizza and I LIKE PIZZA! There was 1/4 of my meal left (could have been half) that I brought home to munch on later. The staff at this location was friendly and efficient and walked a newbie like myself through their ordering process. While I may not choose Blaze over a traditional pizza spot for dinner, Blaze is great for a lunch that's a bit more than a slice and will more than cover your pizza cravings. read more

What is wrong with me! How have I let this place go so Lo g without being introduced to my belly! They are so freaking tasty it blows my mind. Syracuse has had its fair share of toss in fire style pizza places. Some were amazing beyond measure (RIP Pepinos Neo), while some are overpriced hunks of dough that I wish never came here. ( not going to name that one). Others are just tasty, but are more of a premade menu style. Basically you come here like you would a subway or Moes. You pick your dough type (they got more than 1!), your sauces, your toppings and make the magic happen. They do have some premade options too, but I always go custom. They also got FANTASTIC knots and desserts too. I got myself a meatball and bacon pizza with extra cheese, 2 knots with marinara, and a large soda and all that with tip was 15$! The aforementioned place I don't like earlier woulda been 25$. That's a massive savings AND they taste better. Speaking of beverages...tears of joy almost came down my face when I saw they have Blue Sky soda in the fountain! That is so rare! The last place I saw this was in Chicago! You must come here! read more

I can't recommend this place enough. Build your own pizzas, no strings attached. For 19.99 you'll walk out of here with two fully customized pizzas that will last you two meals each. This is a win-win for us, given that my girlfriend prefers simpler pizzas while I prefer mine piled so high with toppings it becomes an upright tube of meat, cheese and veggies that I have to eat in the shower. Averaging 2.00 / topping at most pizza places, my dream pizza is not within my means except for a few select specialty places I have on speed dial. But at Blaze, I can go nuts. Picture you're ordering at Moe's or Subway, except there's nothing they have to be able to close at the end of it. Just Yes to everything, over and over. No shame from anybody, they just whistle Tennessee Ernie Ford and shovel toppings to your satisfaction. Everyone involved does an excellent job pretending they're not fully aware you'll be sweating meat brine for the next three days. The crazy thing is, I've had simple 1-2 topping pizzas here, and even those were some of the best around. Add to it the thrill of having real time control over the entire creation process. It costs about as much for two "personal" sized pizzas as it would to get a large specialty anywhere else. There's something to be said about receiving your pizzas and wincing from the weight of what you just ordered. I usually get the high rise dough, and I can't pull myself away from the pesto sauce. I can't wait to eat inside again. Their pizza is best complemented with an unrealistic amount of lemonade. read more

The pizzas are decent and a great fast food when you in a rush. The employees are a riot! Made me feel welcomed and cared for.it's fun to watch your pie being made - and a real treat to eat it hot. Not sure if I would do carry out- being delightfully thin crusted, it cools quickly so imho- it's best eaten at the restaurant. read more

Very few times in my life can I say that an eatery's food can be described as "life changing.." In this case, absolutely. I've honestly never had such an amazing pizza in more than 25 years. Between the cheeses melted together, to the crunchy crust and the overall sauce to cheese mix, this was absolutely incredible. The establishment has a very nice overall atmosphere that other such chain places don't have. I'm very happy that CNY has Blaze now as I'll be returning on a regular basis well worth it to try out! read more

All 1 stars, because that's the least you can do. Stood at the counter for 10 min and was ignored by 6 employees. For 5 min, I was the only one in line. Then, 2 more ladies came. We all wondered who was supposed to greet us and or take an order. Left and went to another place to eat. Will never go back. read more

I believe the service is a tad slow but it's very organized when it comes to materials but the employees are a tad too relaxed when it comes to the situation. But slack is given due to it being the grand opening. The soda's do not differ by much but the product all in itself is good. It's recommended to speak loud so they can hear you since the surroundings of the restaurant are very noisy and distracting. But over all the food is good and high quality, I would totally recommend. read more

I've been loyal to blaze since I visited an Albany location a couple years ago. I love building my own pizza and I love the quality ingredients. Tonight I went in and although it was CRAZY busy around 6, they really kept their heads high and worked through everything really well. Our pizzas came out great (a little under cooked but not awful) and I still made it in and out within 45 minutes. The girls topping were super quick once you got there, and they made my pizza look SO DELICIOUS. They definitely made the pizzas the way they would want their pizzas made. They looked great. Be back soon! read more

For the first time out in a restaurant post-COVID, Blaze was a perfect place to gently ease back into the dining scene. I met a friend out here a couple Fridays ago. Similar to a fast-casual set-up, you order at the counter and they call your name once it's done. I ordered a custom pizza. There are a variety of toppings to choose from and so delighted that they have goat cheese as an option. Staff were extremely nice and accommodating. It looks like they go out of their way to employ respectable younger adults who starting out in their careers. The facility was clean. Only minor issue was that the music was a touch too loud for the conversation we were trying to carry, although music selection was on point. Prices are reasonable. One recommendation, they could do a lot of interesting dessert pizzas. The current dessert selections are basic. I will definitely return and highly recommend! read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was actually very quality pizza. I would compare it to the other top pizza places in the area. Walking into it, I was expecting typical mediocre chain pizza. However, the ingredients are very fresh and my personal pie was cooked to perfection! I love that they have an app to order ahead on and you can add unlimited toppings for no extra charge. The personal pie was the perfect size for me. Only downside was that it took slightly longer than expected to be cooked. read more

This place is awesome. It was busy when we walked in but everything seemed to move pretty quick for pizza which normally takes a bit. Great pizza! Tons of delicious, fresh toppings to choose from. I would have given more stars, but I have a BIG issue with the way they deal with gluten free customers. I asked for the cauliflower crust, which is GF. (They also have a specifically GF crust.) I asked the person preparing my pizza about cross contamination, but she didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I then asked the guy at the checkout about cross contamination and he assured me that they had a separate pizza cutter for GF crust pizza. Then a third employee took my pizza off the tray and put it in the box wearing the same gloves he had touched other pizzas with. I said, you're cross contaminating my pizza. The guy at the register, who I ASKED about cross contamination, said "Did you ask for a glove change?" No, because I didn't know that was your procedure (he could have TOLD ME, when I asked about cross contamination!) If someone asks for GF and asks about cross contamination, the employees should know that person is actually GF and it's not just a "preference." If a restaurant is offering GF options, their employees should be better trained, IMO. I would definitely return, now that I know the process, because the pizza was very good (I ate a slice knowing it was contaminated). However, I would STRONGLY warn GF customers to ask VERY SPECIFICALLY to have their GF pizza prepared by someone who knows what they're doing, because clearly, not everyone who works there does. I guess the take away for me (yet again!) is don't assume a restaurant will actually prepare a GF product just because they offer it... read more

I went in here for the grand opening yesterday and was not disappointed. When I walked up there was a line out the door, of course I thought the worst, but the line moved very quickly. There was someone at the door greeting people and explaining how things worked and she was really nice and helpful. Once inside you followed your pizza from start to finish. They have a lot of crust, sauce, and topping choices, they also have specialty pizzas you can pick from. They have a good amount of indoor seating and a nice little outdoor patio area. Hat also have fresh salads that you can add to your order. Over all it was a great experience, especially for how busy it was. I can't wait to try it again. read more

I went inside to order a pizza but left after I watched the unsanitary practices. The lady making the dough was pushing her hair back and wiping the sweat off her face and never changed her gloves. This has to be the worst place on the planet to go for pizza. They didn't even know how to make a simple garlic pizza. They have their own unique menu and methods.
