TL;DR: Recommended. Food has been consistently good here. I really like the fact that they make the fries fresh for takeout orders. That means that if you have ordered fries with your takeout order, it will be made after you arrive at the location. Which is a good thing! ***Overall*** Recommended. I have visited this place multiple times, and I plan to repeat.

Ok it's bit expensive but they give you SO MUCH FOOD. Like the regular sized fries looks like an extra large and was overflowing and I couldn't finish them. Something I appreciate about their shakes is that there's a baseline price and any extras you add in don't cost extra.

This was my first time ever at a Five Guys. I have always heard great things about their Burgers and Fries. The interior was decorated like an old 50's diner, very clean and cute. This was a family dinner 4 Adults 3 children. We all ordered Burgers, Fries and Milkshakes. The French Fries are to die for! I could have just had the fries and shake and I would have been more than happy. You receive a BAG of fresh cut French fries and they are delicious! The milkshake was also very good. As for the Hamburger, I personally think that if people think they have the best burgers then they best keep looking because they were very thin and for a Bacon burger it had two little strips of bacon and they did not have a whole lot of flavor. We did get great service and the staff were very accommodating when it came to needing extra containers for the kids to share. I will go back for their fries and shake but will not spend the money for a burger. They are a bit pricey for the quality.

Love this Five Guys! Always good. I get the burgers in lettuce wraps and they're great that way! This time our fries came out a lil cold/stale but they made us a fresh batch, no problem. Only comments would be its salty (of course!) and a bit pricey for fast food/fast casual.

How in the world could Five Guys be any less the 5 stars is beyond me! They are so freaking good when you want a yummy burger and even yummier fries. Yes, I know...they are restaurant quality burgers, but they are definitely better than any fast food burger that you will ever get. The meat is always juicy and fresh and there are tons of toppings to choose from. Now the one thing you should know is that a "little" burger is actually a normal cheeseburger size. The regular cheeseburger is a freaking double! They are pretty massive and you need to be pretty dang hungry to eat them. The fries are out of this world and always taste fresh and seasoned perfectly. Again you maybe tempted to buy a huge size, but be careful. A small is a whole cup of fries dumped in the bag with a second cup filled up after. Finish up with one of their amazing shakes and your gtg!

Wow....best burgers ever. Really, that's all that needs to be said. The menu is limited but simple. Fast, custom made burgers, free peanuts while you wait, and massive quantities of fries if you order them. This location is connected to the Paradise Market, and it has lots of outdoor seating too which is a very nice plus. I just wish they delivered!

For context: My family has been Hoffmann's‑hot‑dog loyalists for decades. We've grilled them at home, served them at parties, and defended them in debates that got way too passionate for a conversation about encased meat. So walking into Heid's felt like I was cheating on a long‑term partner. And yet... Heid's didn't just meet my expectations -- it hurdled over them. My son and I stopped in for a quick lunch. He immediately committed a culinary misdemeanor by putting ketchup on a hot dog, which no one should do after the age of eight. But even that couldn't distract from how good everything was. The snap, the flavor, the nostalgia‑in‑a‑bun energy -- all flawless. Heid's isn't just a restaurant. It's a generational rite of passage. Families have been coming here forever, and you can feel that history the second you walk in. And here's the kicker: I drove up from Connecticut, and I would absolutely do it again. Heid's is worth the miles. Worth the hype. Worth the decades‑late arrival. I can't believe it took me this long.

Oh my goodness--the nostalgia! I haven't been to Heid's in probably 15-20 years. Growing up, Heid's…read morewas such a summer staple, so now that I've moved back home, it only felt right to make my way here. Heid's has that old-school, cafeteria-style setup where you go down the line to get your food. It's simple, classic, and honestly gives me Happy Days vibes. The menu is straight comfort food--hot dogs, chicken tenders, Philly cheesesteaks, sausages with peppers and onions, and more. They also have deserts like brownies, cookies & chocolate cake. They do server beer and have lots of fountain drink options as well. I got a Gianelli sausage with cheese fries and chili. Ummm --it was so good. The fries could've used just a little more salt and pepper, but that sausage hit the spot. My mom got a sausage with cheese fries and macaroni salad and loved it. No complaints here! Next door is Sweet Treats, their ice cream stand, and it's the perfect way to end your meal. They've got soft serve, hard ice cream, milkshakes, smoothies, flurries--you name it. My mom got a raspberry-lime sherbet twist, and I went all in with cookie dough chocolate chip ice cream mixed with vanilla, topped with whipped cream and caramel syrup. So refreshing and delicious. If you are ever in the Syracuse/Liverpool area, I definitely recommend trying Heid's at least 3 times in your life. It's affordable, family-friendly, and full of nostalgia. They also have live bands on Wednesdays, car shows, outdoor seating, and community events for kids throughout the year. Definitely tastes exactly the way I remember. If you do decide to try out Heid's, leave me a comment and let me know how you liked it!

Lil Red Caboose is one of the few lunch/dinner spots in the small town of Clyde, New York. It's located on a corner street, on the way to Sodus Point. It's a outside seating, small stand. The Lil Red Caboose offers a variety of different meals such as Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, French Fries, Sausages, Mozzarella sticks, and of course, the Zwiegles Pop-open Hot-Dogs! I stopped by and picked up a meal I remembered having when I was younger, fried mozzarella sticks and a Red Zwiegles Pop-open Hot Dog. I picked up a order number and took a sit in their outside tables. The ambiance was so relaxing, surrounded by greenery with the sound of nature. The meal was out in about 15 minutes. There was [5] Mozzarella Sticks, thick and filled with cheese. It came hot off the deep fryer and the Zwiegles red-hot dog was cooked to perfection, not too burnt with just a slight crisp to it. The food was delicious! With the Zwiegles, typically you fill up the pop-open hot dogs with onions and peppers to enhance the flavor. Sauces were on the house. The meal came out to be $5.50, quite reasonably for the quality and quantity for food!

Yes, I know we all love Hoffmann and it is sacrilegious to say other wise. But here me out. Owner Tim makes all his menu items from scratch! His hotdogs, sausage patties, and sausage links! Oh, his condiments are all his creation as well. Ketchup , mustard, and relish all made from scratch by Tim! I asked Tim what he recommended I try on my first visit. He said definitely the chili dog. I was glad I did! Tim has a mixture of brisket and pork that he grinds, puts in a casing and then smokes. He than warms it back up on a flat top griddle at the stand. You definitely taste all the flavors that went into creating this dog! Thoughts after the first bite? Meaty and smoke! It's definitely one of a kind when you think of a hotdog. You definitely get that meat flavor with a hint of smokiness. The chili is meat based and sweet which blends in beautifully with the dog. The homemade mustered added a spice with a small kick. Complimenting the spice was the ketchup with hints of brown sugar sweetness and vinegar. Tim was a pretty cool guy to meet. Proud of his food and pretty chill wearing tie-dye and listening to some Dead tunes. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some more of his home creations such as his shaved ribeye sandwich and sausage with peppers and onions. We can still throw our beloved Hoffmanns on the grill but for something a bit different stop over and try this delicious hotdog as well!
