Had a pleasant experience here at Chick fil A! Stopped in for lunch while making a long trip for work. There was a lil line when I arrived but they moved it very swiftly. I was greeted with the friendliest of people.Smiles here, smiles there! Everyone here just looked like they enjoyed their job and cared about the customers in front of them. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a 8ct of chicken nuggets.As well as spicy chicken meal w/Powerade and one original chicken sandwich ( which was for the kids). I opted to dine in so they gave me a table topper and I found a spot to sit. Once the food was ready they delivered it right to my table, again with a smile lol. The food was very fresh the chicken was juicy, the bun was steamed just right and the waffle fries had the right amount of crispy(if you know, you know). They were sooo busy with a big youth sports team there but they were still fast to get us served. They did not make our groups gluten free sandwich correct and we needed to wait for a new one, but it was not a terribly long wait. Numerous articles on every local news website had been written about them before they opened, but incase you're not aware somehow of their backround... Serving a breaded, boneless chicken breast between two buttered buns is a seemingly simple idea--but it was a novelty for its time. Truett Cathy experimented for years at the Dwarf Grill in Hapeville, GA when in 1964, he finally arrived at the perfect recipe. On that day, the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich was born. There are currently more than 2,100 Chick-fil-A locations in America, the Syracuse branch being owned by Jimmer Szatkowski. I was first introduced to Chick-fil-A when I lived in Maryland for a couple years. Hands down, best fast food chicken you can get, so I was very excited when one was finally announced for CNY. There are two lines for ordering, as you'll probably notice that it's always busy. I'll warn you right now, the business WILL NOT DIE DOWN. This is not simply a new restaurant opening kinda busy...Chick-fil-A's are ALWAYS busy. Even when I lived in another state where they were all over, there was never a time I went to a Chick-fil-A and didn't have a wait, or a line around the building. Breakfast is much quicker. I dunno if people haven't realized they sell breakfast yet, or simply are trying to get to work/don't want chicken for breakfast, but between 6 am-11 am, the lines are moving pretty quickly. I love their chicken biscuit....nice piece of fried chicken on a biscuit with a little hot sauce for breakfast. That's good eats. I usually go for their spicy chicken sandwich for lunch/dinner, but their grilled chicken is also pretty tasty. Never been a fan of the waffle fries, so I usually pass on them. They're just not very flavorful for me, and honestly, I'm not there for anything but chicken anyway. Chick-fil-A is also famous for their amazing lemonade, and it is legit the best lemonade I've ever had, BUT this location hasn't gotten the ratio down just yet. The hype is real! Fans and newbies alike are converging on Route 11 to try some Syracuse Chick-Fil-A. I happen to live nearby and have seen the lines at all times of the day. The least busy is in the morning with about a 2-4 cars in their drive-thru around 7:45am. They open at 6:30am! Usually, there are 2 rows forming in the parking lot; I've even seen 3 rows! Today I waited a little less than 25 minutes in the drive-thru around 3:30pm. There were 3 employees outside taking drive-thru orders to speed things along. Staff must be worn out, but are friendly. Their breakfast menu is served until 10:30am. They offer varying breakfast sandwiches, hashbrowns (shaped like little coins), iced cold brew coffee, chicken minis (tiny sliders), and other things. After 10:30am you can expect a variety of chicken sandwiches, salads, nuggets, waffle fries, etc. The crispy chicken is juicy and fun to dip into their many different sauces. Some of their sauces include the chick-fil-a sauce, polynesian (like a sweet and sour), garlic ranch, etc. My favorite so far is their chick-fil-a sauce. I ordered a large lemonade to split with the kids. The cup was larger than expected and the fresh-squeezed beverage was refreshing. It did have 6 seeds in it, which my kids did not appreciate. LOL. Well worth it for me! My neighbor swears by the sweet tea, so will have to give that a try some time. Overall, it's been a good experience and I encourage you to download their app to earn free treats/food. Just don't forget to have them scan the app like I did! ; ) Obviously I am looking forward to when the lines die down so that it's not as big of a hassle to try them again. read more

They're priced like they're a monopoly, or at least as if they're the only Chick-fil-A for miles and miles; which they are. So, without the competition, Jimmer (the franchise owner in this case), prices his world famous chicken sandwich at a price that is ridiculous. I haven't been to a Chick-Fil-A since I was down south a few years ago so I was excited it was back. This location is still busy and we waited in line about 5 minutes. We ordered 2 chicken deluxe sandwich meals, a side of tenders with their sauce and sweet tea to drink. Food is brought to your table and it is pretty quick. Sandwich was freshly made with a soft bun. Tenders were breaded nicely and hot. Chick-Fil-A sauce is a mixture of bbq and mustard. Sweet with some spice. So delicious! Restaurant is very clean & they are constantly making sure the tables are clean. Their sweet tea was so sweet and hurt my teeth. Once the ice melted and it was watered down it was much better. The tea was also warm even with ice. Unfortunately I received barely any pickles on my sandwich & they were all bunched to one side. For a fast food chain I would say they are decent but not above and beyond others. read more

Um... its just fast food chicken... now it is fantastic fast food chicken, but ultimately, its just chicken. Not much you can say here. Its fairly cheap, crazy delicious, addictive and the Chik sauce is great on anything... anything at all. There sides are pretty good also. Especially the Mac n Cheese. Downside, very busy at times as only 2 locations in area (Clay & Cicero). The Cicero location gets ungodly busy because its jammed into the front of a small Home Depot parking lot, next to a Starbucks that's jammed in the parking lot also, right next to the restaurant. If you're in a hurry, avoid that location, especially on weekends. Poor location choice for customers and horrible enter/exit design there. The Home Depot park lot has turned into "outdoor dining" area and is littered with Chick bags. read more
