This used to be our favorite place after moving to Riverstone, the food is good and it wasn't usually busy so the service was decent. We stopped coming for a bit and started going to Papi's, but tonight we decided to try again and now we probably won't be back. We came in at close to 7:30 and just left at 8:30. They brought us water pretty quick but then they had to come double check our drink order and place our food order because there was a mix up. Then they served everyone else's food including a large party and a party that all arrived after us and we still hadn't received our appetizer. We finally decided to leave at 8:30 and go to Papi's instead when we still didn't have our appetizers or any food and everyone else in the restaurant had been served. read more

Service was horrible. My wife and I sat at the bar while workers just stood there having their own conversation. Table wasn't wiped while we were waiting. Once someone decided to step up and acknowledge us I only ordered one drink. Once I finished it u asked to close out and apparently these bar tenders assume they can keep the change. I asked for my change after I waited for another few minutes. Once I asked for my change the female bartender pulled my change out of her back pocket and gave it to me with attitude. Maybe if she was the one that made the drink and if my wife and I received better service I would've definitely tipped, but this bad attitude and service needs to stop we live in the community I would hate to take my business elsewhere just because a few bad apples work there. I decided to check out Blast & Brew after hearing about their Tri Tip Nachos and they were amazing! My partner got the Byo blast Burger, which I had to try, and it was delicious too! The service was great and our Waitress Savanna was prompt and attentive, and seemed to pop up to check on us at just the right times throughout the meal. Just moved to Riverstone and typically not a fan of "bar food" but Blast and Brew changed my mind! The hot chicken sandwich is amazing. The sweet potato fries with the dip, my favorite!!! I don't usually leave bad reviews, but after three poor experiences at Blast & Brew, I felt it was necessary. First visit: Our server tried to take four orders without writing anything down, then had to ask us multiple times to repeat. All of our meals ended up wrong. Second visit: I placed a takeout order at 5:30 and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I didn't leave with my food until almost 7pm. Staff was rude, and the kitchen seemed chaotic and careless. Third visit: My wife went to order takeout and was met with attitude and unprofessionalism at the register. Again, the order took far too long. The food and portion sizes are great, but the customer service and professionalism need serious improvement. A better attitude and work environment could make this place truly thrive. read more

Love having Blast and Brew in the Riverstone area! However it seems the cooking quality has severely declined over the last year. To be fair, we have given them the opportunity several times thinking it might be just a one off occurrence. However, the last few times ordering the food has been subpar. Each time we order we express our concerns but it appears to go on deaf ears. We ordered the bacon jam burger "well done" and expressed to them the last few times it was very pink. They assured me they would cook it well done, and there would be no pink. As you can see from the pictures, it was very pink and only got more red as I went on. We also requested the fries to be well done, and I expressed to them the last few times when we got home, which was only a three minute drive the fries were very soggy and barely edible. we got home to find my wife's sweet potato fries not only soggy, but also with the incorrect sauce. Also, several of them were found blackened, and or burnt. The second order of fries were the Garlic fries, which had great flavor but were very soggy. Luckily I was able to toss them into the air fryer and finish them up before eating them. The resturant was clean and appeared slow inside and hardly any patrons. read more

Wine on tap, Cabernet is good, beers on tap is good! Party of 10, food came out SUPER COLD (all of our dishes), then to boot the server said she'd come back with silverware, which didn't happen right away so our food got even colder. :( I got the Margherita pizza came out cold and barely any cheese on it (which is NOT how a traditional Margherita pizza should be). Sorry to say (with the exception of my family), this dinning experience from service, no eating utensils when our cold food came out and no cheese on the Margherita pizza... was a big disappointment. Everyone who took a slice of the Margherita pizza agreed it was missing the cheese and cold as there dishes were too. :( read more

This place was only ever okay, just don't order online apparently :-/ we ordered, 25 minutes after, got notification it was ready, came to pick up, almost 45 minutes later and we learn it wasn't actually pushed through to kitchen. Service was really good. It crowded so everything was really timely. It's a really cool concept though we didn't have brew. The Bloody Mary was terrific. The ahi tower was fantastic and the chicken sandwiches and fries were great. The Mac and cheese was the only thing that was just maybe above average. As we drive through this route on 41 often. So so so bad. I avoid leaving bad reviews but I don't even think they could do anything differently for me to come back to this location. It's crazy cus the Clovis one is excellent... we ordered 3 things and everything had major problems. 1) cheese pizza . First off came in a me and Ed's box. Second the dough wasn't cooked. The cheese and sauce was like school cafeteria pizza .. but worse and the cherry on top was that the pizza stuck paper so much that I was pulling the pizza off in shreds and pulling paper off the bottom of the pizza I didn't order take n bake!!! 2) tacos ... the taco couldn't even be picked up or held we had to eat it with a fork cus the tortilla fell apart when we picked it up. And it was so bland anyway that we just threw it away. 3) chicken nuggets and fries . Usually this place has some special Cajun seasoning on the fries. They didn't this time. The fries were cold and gross the chicken was half over cooked and so hard my daughter couldn't eat it. The decently cooked pieces had like chewy cartilage in the bites. Listen if you look at my yelp reviews they are always mostly positive. But this was beyond something to be overlooked. Something needs to change asap . read more

Food is absolutely terrible... chicken is dry, hamburger mediocre at best for the price you pay. Would only recommend for drinks and apps (the deviled eggs are good). We were the only ones in the restaurant and our food took forever, never had our waters refilled. Don't waste your time or money. Oh and as for ambiance... kitchen had very VERY inappropriate music playing. It was uncomfortable, glad we didn't have any kids with us. read more

New, new, new! California pizza and Bavarian pretzel ordered. The worker said it would be 20 minutes. I walked in to get it. It started with excitement and ended in total disappointment! Really nice and fun environment! Middle bar. Open environment. Clean and safe. They have all different tap beers along with TVs. I told the worker at the front that I had a pick up and she went to get it. Brought out shortly later after I checked out the place. Paid for the order and left. The worker acted different and it all makes sense now. Driving home, it was pretty gross! The pretzel had oil all over it! Really gross! Not quite sure why??? Literally, oil all over from the pretzel box. A warning or something would have been nice from the worker. Do not get why so much oil is needed for the pretzel? Aren't they baked? Again, I do not get it. I got everything set up for lunch. Half of the Bavarian pretzel was okay. I still don't understand where all the oil came from and why it was even needed! It didn't seem like there was oil much in the pretzel. The cheese sauce that came with it was filled with oil too. The spicy mustard sauce it came with was good. Not oily. Thankfully! Half of the California pizza was okay. Only 3 tiny pieces of chicken on my whole entire pizza half and mother had 5 tiny pieces of chicken on her half. 8 tiny pieces on an entire pizza! Wow! Really? Super cheesy too! Too much! The cheese took over the veggies and tiny pieces of chicken. It also makes sense why the worker didn't want a tip from me. I have completely oiled, ruined workout pants. =( Such a shame and a warning. Be aware! Not worth the money paid from experience and food. Mother felt the same. read more

Horrible service. Sat for 30 minutes, no water or drinks service. Had to bother the server twice for drinks ( and I mean water). I had to hunt down the server for a beer tap card. There were 4 employee just standing in the back, watching everyone, instead of walking around the restaurant and attending to customers and it was not busy. There were 3 people sitting at the bar and no Permanent bar tender, who was also our server. It took about 1 hr to get a pizza. Other than that, beer was good and ambience was nice with lots of TVs. Tap beers are about $7-10 per pint 16 oz. Our Server was nice but I think he was overwhelmed with runnng the whole restaurant. And pizza was pretty good. read more

I have been to this restaurant three times and every time that I have been there, I've had the best experience of having good quality food. Make sure you look at your bill before paying (yes.... I don't till after, I know) you have to pour your own beer, but when I ordered a beer it did not pour. I clicked it again and it worked. Later I noticed it charged me for the drink even though on the screen it showed it did not charge. The service was great. Friendly staff and attentive. I only ordered appetizers (almost all of them lol) the best was the pretzel, second garlic fries (highly recommend). The devil eggs needed salt but were good. The mix drinks were a little watered downed (but I'm an elk member so I am used to stiff drinks). 1 TV looks like it's on its last leg. When the beer pours, the light beer had to much oxygen which caused for a lot of head (which you pay for). read more

I've been coming often to this place with friends since it opened, but we're usually sitting at the bar with appetizers. Yesterday husband & I decided to try out their brunch. I had their steak & eggs that comes with cheesy hash browns & a biscuit covered in sausage gravy. The steak was cooked well done which made it more on the dry side. I like eating my steaks medium rare but I wasn't asked how I wanted my steak or eggs cooked, so I'm assuming this is the way this plate comes. Good flavor, but I wish the steak would of been more tender. Husband had chilaquiles, which were okay. They came with beans that had chorizo in them. The thing that bothered me when I was eating was the fact that our waitress came over, asking if it would be ok for them to move us to a table farther down in a corner, because a big party was coming. Um hello, I'm still eating! Apparently the manager stated she'd give us a round of "sugars" (I'm assuming desserts) No Thank you! We were watching the football game & eating at the same time, we would of ended up farther away from a tv as well. The big party came in a while later and they all fit on tables next to us just fine. We were done eating & left literally 4 minutes after they arrived. I personally didn't appreciate to be asked to have my plates of food moved and myself while I'm in the middle of eating, any other time yes, I'd gladly move but not while I'm literally eating! read more

What a great find! Such a cool bar with good vibes and Logan the bartender was so much fun and he took good care of us. We all enjoyed our food, my daughter had the chicken pesto sandwich, I had the fig/arugula/prosciutto pizza and my hubby had the blast burger. Fries were super hot, crispy and fresh! I make my own pizza so I am pretty picky and the dough was tasty. We had great service and all of the staff were so friendly, asking us how our days were.
