The salesman Ben was a pleasure to work with. No high pressure bull crap, just quick answers to all my initial questions with no foxy pauses to consult with the manager or finance team. I felt like I was working with a neighbor and that he was on my side. I even decided to consider a second vehicle mid-negotiations and Ben was great about it and listened carefully to my concerns that I was worried about a 2-wheel drive car in New England winters. We landed on the Sonata and I took it for a test drive. My initial impressions of the car were very high. But 4 days and 400 miles later I am in love with the car. I have been fortunate enough to own many expensive vehicles in my lifetime including the truck I also presently own which is a high luxury vehicle costing over 3 times the price of my Sonata. I can say so far that at any price the Sonata is one of the most comfortable and best performing vehicles I have owned. It is very futuristic. The interior especially feels like a gaming cockpit and the seats are as comfortable as any expensive gaming chair. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I will update this review as the years go by to further expand on my experience but so far I could not be happier with my 2025 Hyundai Sonata and the entire team at McFarland Hyundai

While we waited on banking and paperwork, he kept us entertained with great stories and pointed us to some solid local food spots (Street in Portsmouth in a must!). I thoroughly enjoyed my car buying experience with Walter at Victory Park Motors! He has a great…read moreselection of quality late model vehicles, is extremely knowledgeable about cars in general and is an honest and trustworthy businessman. His inventory includes many desirable European cars (Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Range Rover, etc.) at all different price points as well as some unique/exotic and hard to find items (Acura NSX, Shelby GT500 convertible, Alfa Romeo...), all of which are in excellent condition. I got a very fair deal on the car I purchased and Walter made it easy for me to trade my old car towards the new one. He was honest, up front and very generous about what he could offer for my trade and at no time did I feel any pressure to buy something immediately or beyond my budget. It's easy to see why he has so many repeat customers from the extended Mass, Maine and NH community, myself included. I realize that my review is starting to sound like a commercial ;-) but I truly feel like he is one of the "nice guys" and I highly recommend that you see him if you're in the market for a very fair deal on a quality vehicle. And one more point: Victory's mechanic (Peter?) goes through each of the cars and is extremely meticulous about making sure what goes out on the lot for sale is mechanically sound, safe and roadworthy. In fact, I noticed one of my tailpipes was slightly off-center with the other side about a month after I bought the car. I brought it in, they put it right up on the lift and made the adjustment while I waited. I'm sure that I was the only one who would have noticed but they clearly wanted me to be happy and made sure it was perfect. I will be purchasing another car from him in the next week or two and look forward to many other transactions with Victory Park!!!

The manufacture's list price is $51,390.....Then good ole Dan adds another WHOPPING RIP OFF CHARGE OF $12,000 on top of that for a total of 63,390!!! All pricing is plus all dealer and "port installed" options AND a $599 dealer fee. Talk about taking advantage of your customers. Greedy Dan. People would rather be dealt with honesty instead of those stupid commercials. Really? You should be honest with your customers and not try to take advantage of the situation by robbing them and making an extra $12,000 for the opportunity of selling them a car. Great experience and I love my car…read more I noticed there wasn't any Yelp review for this great little used car dealership. I know buying a car can be stressful, and dealing with car dealers - especially used car dealers - can be awful. This was not at all. Everyone was very friendly, no pressure, let us look around and check out whatever we wanted. Went out of their way to make financing super easy. Before I knew it, I had the keys and drove away, with a new emissions test, a decent warranty, and a great quality vehicle. Never felt creeped out the whole time. I would recommend if you are in the market for a decent used car. Of course, do your homework, and don't be afraid to ask questions.

All they did was reset the light twice after putting on a new gas cap. Light came on again. I finally told them that there is something going on with my vehicle as the light indicated an O2 Sensor. That is when they finally fixed the fuel pump! Since it was September, I did not even think about my AC. Turns out there was a bad AC Compressor, cost me $959.00. This was after I explained the sound I was hearing just to be told that it was nothing. Turns out it was the AC compressor and clutch hitting each other thus causing the sound I repeatedly told RE Davis about. Then, I had my entire rear suspension blow out because of bad upper trailing arms in my vehicle which were clearly rotted and rusted and had been this way for quite some time. This cost me $1,061.00. Luckily I was able to convert to a coil suspension. I believe this vehicle was in water at some point. My rear window leaks, there is some kind of a thick glue applied in various places and there are numerous other problems with this vehicle. If RE Davis Auto had let me take this vehicle to my mechanic like I had asked I would NEVER have bought this vehicle. I was told that I am not allowed to take any vehicle off the lot except to test drive. Be very careful when buying ANY vehicle from this company AND make sure they let you take the vehicle to mechanic even if they insist that you can't. Otherwise, shop somewhere else! I truly wish that the Lemon Law applied to my vehicle.

I live pretty far away, and after making the drive and being just 5 minutes away--literally about to arrive on time--they called me to say the car was no longer there because it had been sent to auction. Apparently it was a "typo" on their end... which is honestly unacceptable. This was a complete waste of my time and shows a serious lack of professionalism and organization. I even followed up the same day to confirm everything, so there's really no excuse. If they can't keep track of their inventory or communicate basic information to customers, I wouldn't trust them with anything else. Definitely would not recommend doing business here.

I reached out to the dealership, and they responded immediately and took the matter seriously. Matt, the Sales Manager, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He was professional, communicative, and focused on making things right. There was no defensiveness -- just accountability and action. As an apology for the inconvenience, they offered to put winter tires on my vehicle, and they fully honored that commitment. Mistakes can happen anywhere. What truly matters is how a business responds, and in this case, McGovern handled it the right way. They stood behind their word, resolved the issue promptly, and treated me with respect. Because of that, they've earned my trust -- and my future business. -Melanie
