Luce Ave…read moreCoffee Roasters has the BEST ICED PISTACHIO LATTE I've ever had and if you haven't stopped by for a sip you absolutely should! We ordered the iced pistachio latte with almond milk and the sweet chocolate iced blend with almond milk and a shot of espresso. Both drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. I'm very delighted that I've found a coffee shop that has a pistachio drink that actually tastes like a pistachio! The customer service was fantastic, the restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, although not as spacious as many coffee shops it's still manageable, and we saw online that they offer monthly barista classes. I most definitely plan to return to this establishment!

The barista helped me pick out the perfect latte. I got the Island Latte, which the barista told me has toasted coconut flavors with a hint of pandan. I had them make it semi-sweet... There's limited seating inside, but I found a small table to get some work done (wifi access with purchase). It was a bit hot and humid inside, so I was a bit uncomfy. But that's Texas summer for ya!

Everything I tried was delicious. What will you have when you visit?

They have a lot of really cool stuff here though, from handmade/crafted ice creams to candies to boxes of chocolates. It really is a one-stop-shop if you want interesting/middle eastern desserts! I ended up not getting anything since even the dubai chocolate crepe I'd been looking at just looked like it would be too much sugar at once, but will say -- the place was quite packed when we went on a Saturday. There were almost no tables available! It was during the world cup which they did have showing on a couple TVs in there and a lot of people were watching so not sure if that was contributing to more foot traffic than usual (odd to me people would go to a sweets shop rather than a bar or something, but to each their own!). Of note, it is inside a small strip mall, so plenty of parking is available.

I can definitely see myself studying here if I wanted to switch up my environment. It is a popular spot though, so if you are looking for a quieter place to study this might not be it. The parking is limited, but they have some spots in the front as well as a small lot to the left of the building. There's also across the street at the mix as a last resort. Got their infamous einspanner and I was a fan! The whipped foam on top was so creamy without being heavy, and all mixed together, it was a great balance of sweet and creamy with a subtle hit of bitterness from the coffee. I totally get why they are known for this. (8.5/10) The service was also very fast and friendly. Overall, I'd definitely come back.

Just keep in mind that they pride themselves on their unique drinks so they don't allow any substitutions for their signature drinks because they want you to try it as is. The Keepsake was a cold brew shandy with esplanade and Valencia orange. It almost didn't taste like coffee to me since it had a strong fruity taste with a citrusy cold foam on top, which made it a sweet treat for the summer. The Chantilly was creamy and sweet --it's a cold brew with cognac cream and black lava salt. They had lots of tables indoors for seating, although it does get crowded during peak hours. They have a small parking lot or you can find parking on the surrounding streets.

They have cool specialty drinks…read more Ordered: - The Orchard (A Granny Smith apple and green juice infused matcha flat white, topped with a Granny Smith apple slice. Served Iced) - I think their description of "fresh and crisp" was very accurate. I think the cinnamon complimented the matcha well. I wouldn't have thought to put apple cinnamon with matcha. It's feels like matcha meets autumn to me. It's fun I like it. - The Snapshot (A craft coffee float, with house made Esplanade coffee cola and custom black cherry ice cream from Cheaters Creamery. Served in house only and Iced.) - I was expecting something like an affogato when we ordered the drink for some reason but it definitely more of a coke float. They nailed it honestly. I didn't taste any coffee flavor in the few sips I had but my boyfriend said he was able to taste it. The drink comes with a fun Polaroid photo which is fun. Honestly a very unique retro summer vibe drink. - Breakfast Burrito - Honestly pretty decent. - Nutella Banana Bread - Unfortunately their oven was down so we couldn't get it toasted/warm but I think that would've been significantly better. It satisfied my craving. Definitely would consider coming back to try other fun seasonal drinks. In terms of seating, they have a large table in the front of the store, a few seats along the window that is more counter style, and a few tables in the back. From what I saw it looks like they had a decent amount of outlets and USB plugs available. Parking lot is pretty small though. They share a parking lot with a pottery studio and a little clothing store (that's also connected to the coffee shop). Not sure what the street parking situation is. We've come a couple times and would decide to go in or not based on the parking situation.

I used to get a flat white w/ oat milk and 1 stevia (I use my own brand). The combination literally tastes like hot chocolate. It was my go-to for years. As I wanted to lose weight, however, I transitioned to quad Americanos w/ a splash of milk and 1 stevia. Still very tasty. It reminds me of a Starbucks canned coffee (that was LOW sugar) way back in the day that they stopped making (2007-2009). Obviously, there is no comparison w/ re: to quality but I did want to mention. The staff here have always been friendly, particularly Hilary, who I believe is at the Sugarland location now. I recently watched a YouTube video on a guy that travels across cities to try the best coffee and he ranked the pour over at Blendin very high. I need to try that one day! Side note - coming here and having a weekly routine has helped me on my grief journey. Thanks Blendin. You know who it is. It's Young Flaaave!
