As of the end of March 2023, the gate is still unsecured and is never closed. I had escalated my concerns to local management multiple times and they didn't have any sense of urgency around this and kept saying the issue was to be fixed "next week". One of the employees even said to me "well, you haven't been robbed". They also have had issues with their lights being on at night which has added to my concerns regarding their security. They do have cameras but this does not prevent anyone from entering or exiting the facility. I even escalated to their corporate office multiple times and no one ever acknowledged my concerns or got back to me. If you search online you'll see this has been an issue in other locations and people have been robbed. There is a new manager at this location who does want to improve things but she has limited control and it's clear this company does not care about the local security issues and I'd highly recommend avoiding them at all cost.

Several factors contributed to our one-star rating: Exorbitant Insurance Costs - The insurance options were unreasonably priced, nearly 50% of the total move cost, and still required a deductible. This felt more like a cash grab than genuine coverage. Unfair Pricing Adjustments - We conducted a detailed video walkthrough for the company to provide an accurate quote. To cut costs, we donated five or six large, heavy furniture pieces before the move. However, the company refused to adjust the price downward, claiming that additional packing time offset the difference in volume. Poor Load Security - Our belongings were not properly secured in the moving truck. Upon delivery, multiple, heavy duty plastic totes had crushed corners, indicating a lack of care in handling. Mishandling of Fragile Items - Despite being clearly marked "FRAGILE" with arrows indicating the correct orientation, several boxes were stacked upside down or sideways, leading to unnecessary damage. Property Damage - Over $1,000 worth of damage occurred during the move, including scuffs and marks on the floors of our new home, further adding to the frustration.
