I've been dealing with Ryan and Blacklava for over 10 years. I have had hats and t-shirts made for my own company through Blacklava. I have also purchased products offered from Blacklava including t-shirts, hats, CDs and books. Ryan is always very reliable, prompt and professional. If there's ever been a problem with my order Ryan works hard to make it right. I never feel cheated or ripped-off working with this company. read more

I stumbled upon black lava and was glad I did!!! I am a baseball team mom and found out last minute that are Jersey's were not ready for our upcoming tournament! I talked to Ryan on a Wednesday and ask him if it was possible to make 12 shirts by Friday.. And he made it happen!! Ryan not only ordered the shirts and recreate the logo, he made sure are boys had team shirts with numbers in a day and a half! The quality was excellent, the price was unbeatable, he was very friendly and helpful and I have and will continue to recommend him! The parents and coaches were also very happy with his work, the very next day we ordered additional shirts for parents and family members!! Thanks again Black Lava (Ryan) for your help!! read more

I came to this place so I could get a last minute Halloween costume made. I asked for a logo to be put on a red tank top that I had brought in myself. It cost $40 for a vinyl printing that was the entire length of the tank top. It came out really legitimate looking and high quality. The owner knows what he's doing and did it very quickly, within 20 min, and even let me stay and watch the process and tell me about different screen shirt printing techniques. The costume came out great and I got a lot of compliments on it. read more

Blacklava is an amazing place to get shirts made! I called Ryan on Tuesday Feb 18th asking for a shirt to be made for my boyfriend for his birthday. I told him I didn't need it until Friday or Saturday. Ryan had that shirt made for me and ready to be picked up by Thursday! Amazing quality shirts, amazing work done on the shirt and didn't complain because I wanted, "Worlds Greatest Asshole" on the shirt! LOL! I was going to go online and get one done at some custom t-shirt website. Lord knows what quality you will get from one of those places. Besides it's best to keep the business locally anyway! I would recommend Blacklava to anyone wanting to get shirts made! read more

Ryan was extremely helpful and came through within a couple of days of needing shirts printed. My family and I went to the price is right show and wanted custom shirts made. I was beginning to stress because my family wanted shirts made and we had no idea where we can get this done for a reasonable price. I began to google custom t-shirt locations, read his reviews and gave it a shot, which I am glad I did. Give him a try and trust his work. The work came out looking absolutely amazing! We will use him in the future for any other work we need done. read more

Ryan from Blacklava is AMAZING!! I was looking for someone local to customize a couple of shirts for me. I came across Ryan at Blacklava on Yelp! I decided to check him out, based purely off of his great Yelp reviews. Well now I know why he has perfect reviews...his work, professionalism, customer service....all PERFECT!! I went in and had him put some writing on 2 tanks. I thought I'd drop the tanks off, tell him what I wanted written on them, then pick them up 3-5 days later. NOPE. He sat with me right then and there at his computer, showed me all of the different fonts/styles/colors/orientations, printed me out the one we chose on paper, printed on a test shirt, then printed it on the final product. I was in shock over how quick and efficient he was. I was in and out of there with my 2 shirts (and a handful of business cards to hand out to family/friends) in less than 30 minutes!!! Thanks again Ryan! You're the best! read more

I needed a rush order done, and Ryan came through in the clutch! Not only was he able to get my shirts done in a couple of hours, he provided awesome customer service and answered all my questions. When I picked up the shirts, we had a nice conversation about how all the different printing processes work, which was quite interesting and informative. Will definitely be using Blacklava for future orders! read more

They're awesome!! It is December 21st and I had a last minute idea of putting together a picture and have it printed out as a Christmas gift. Before Blacklava, I had to call 10 other companies and they were all either not available due to the holidays, or they required minimum amount of orders, or even charge for the printing and SEPERATE PAYMENT FOR THE SHIRT! I only needed one! So I contacted Blacklava and they helped me out, asked for the picture to be sent out so they could look at it before I go in. I go there, and they're just THE NICEST PEOPLE! I enjoyed how genuine and kind they were, and so I decided to buy two orders instead. It was $35 each BUT it was done right in front of me, finished in just a couple of minutes, good clothing quality, and I think it was worth it. Plus, the price definitely couldn't compare to their kindness and the priceless joy that my boyfriend and his brother will receive when they see my creative present. I'd definitely go back to them again for future services. Thank you, Blacklava, for taking in my last minute order :) P.S. Much thanks tp Hino Designs for recommending them during my crisis. You helped save my Christmas! read more

We did a run of t-shirts with water-based ink on American Apparel shirts. Ryan went above and beyond, preparing multiple quotes, mocking up designs on different sizes, meeting us half way for a pick up to avoid shipping costs, and just being an all around great guy. We are in the middle of a second print run and everyone has been happy with the quality. I highly recommend if you want great customer service, excellent product, and competitive prices. read more

Blacklava produces high quality silkscreens at a reasonable price. What more can you ask for? We requested that they use a water-based ink for our shirts (for a certain look, plus it's eco-friendly), and it was the first time they had used this technique. They tested it out until they got it right, and delivered beautiful shirts. Plus, they're super friendly and easy to work with. We'll always be going back to Blacklava! read more

Just a great place to have your screen printing done! My son needed a printer for his high school club and Ryan did a fantastic job. I had ordered my daughter a special sweatshirt for an upcoming event, well in advance from an online company. It was still on backorder 2 days before we needed it. I saw all of the great reviews that Ryan at Blacklava received, so I gave him a call. He could not have been more helpful! I emailed him a picture of what it was supposed to look like, and he had it ready to print in no time. He was so accomodating and helpful, and the sweatshirt was a big hit for the event! I will go to Blacklava for any screenprinting needs I have in the future! read more

I needed a t-shirt asap for my husband's birthday. Ryan had it done for me by the very next day. While I was there, going over the design, I asked if he could print up a few buttons for me, too. Done. I really appreciated him taking the time to meet with me last minute, and his flexibility with my order. A tiny order, by the way. One t-shirt and 20 buttons. read more
