Wanted to try a new spot and had a taste from pizza. My husband was on board, so we went right after church around 1pm. No other customers but us. Bartender welcomed us and helped me navigate process. She informed us to order pizza from other counter by wood-burning oven, since we were not ordered drinks. Two young ladies did not join in greeting, hence being attracted to the bar area first. Once at the food counter, I felt very awkward. There was no genuine assistance as I previewed menu, not eagerness to share suggestions. Very quiet and lacking of a nice customer service experience. I quickly started conversations about food, venue, & asked for recommendations. The older of the two became more engaging. I gathered & acknowledged that the young one was being trained. Maybe she was nervous, which is understandable. Maybe she's not a people person, because she gave me ALOT of blank stares. We settled on the 10 inch Triple Supreme for over $19. The nicer younger lady had told us is was like a personal pan. So I was prepared for size but not the paper thin crust that obviously burns easy in a wood burning oven. Very disappointed! For about $6 more I could have went to Sir Pizza for one of their larger size and more filling pizzas! Pizza taste was ok, nothing stands out. I had to roll the pizza up to eat. Venue is very spacious and could be a good gathering spot. An older lady came and shared some upcoming events. I'm not going to go into how per my husband she spent most of the pizza cooking time staring at him...no worries, I think this is a one & done for us for pizza. MAYBE I'll return to try their brew.

Apparently the restaurant has decided to try out a new concept called "Fine Dining: Survivor Edition." The tables sat covered in dirty dishes long enough to qualify as permanent decor, and our food took so long I considered filing a missing persons report. When it finally arrived, it was cold. Not "could use a quick reheat" cold -- I mean "the marinara sauce had the temperature and emotional warmth of an iceberg" cold. The loaded potatoes were overcooked with about three toppings sprinkled on top like they were rationing cheese during wartime. The pizza? Floppy, bland, and somehow both soggy and dry at the same time. Truly impressive. And the chicken parmesan sandwich was just confusing. The bread was actually great, which made it even sadder that the chicken itself was dry and somehow NOT fried. A chicken parmesan sandwich without crispy chicken feels like someone forgot the assignment halfway through. The restaurant may be dog friendly, but after sniffing the leftovers we brought home, even the dogs seemed personally offended. This place used to be one of my favorites, which makes this even more disappointing. Hoping this was just an off night because right now the quality has left the building faster than our server did.

Gotta be honest with you...meh. I was a little disappointed…read more I'll start with the beers. I tried the Old Reliable and the White Girl Wasted. Not much flavor in either one. Hate to say it, as it's local, but I'd much rather knock back a Budweiser. And I never even drink Budweiser. Tried the Margherita pizza. I really liked the wood fired crust. Super tender with a wood fired flavor to it. But the pizza overall was quite bland. And, with tax, it was pushing twenty dollars. That's an Andrew Jackson for a pizza not much bigger than the size of my hand. They have to be pulling fifteen dollar margins on that small pizza. You're not gonna feed a family of four in here without it hurting. And that's just odd to me when we're talking pizza. I really like what they did to the place. Sharp looking inside. But the service ain't really that great, especially when you consider the prices. And it attracts a certain white collar, hipster clientele. Not that there's anything wrong with that but that's the feel. It's not a place you're going to go after you just plumbed a house. It just doesn't have that blue collar feel to it that some breweries do, and I kinda left wishing it did. But hey, what do I know? Place is popular. I hope it's successful in this expansion location. Before I went there, I asked my neighbor what he thought of it when I saw him walking back from the place with a box. He said, in two words, "It's expensive." That's it. All he told me. So, I'll leave you with that.

There's something for everyone, whether you're a "let me analyze the hops" person or a "just give me something cold and delicious" person. Everything we tried was solid, and it's clear they know what they're doing. The venue itself is super cool. Family friendly, relaxed, not pretentious, and somehow feels both lively and laid-back at the same time. The kind of place where you can hang out for one drink and accidentally stay for three. Service was great: friendly, fast, and helpful without hovering. Exactly what you want when you're trying to responsibly sample your way through a tap list. Parking is excellent. Stress-free. No parallel parking gymnastics. No circling the block questioning your life choices. Just... parking. Beautiful. They also had a pop-up event featuring local artists, which was awesome. Apparently they host things like that pretty regularly, and I love that they're supporting local small businesses. Nothing pairs better with a craft beer than community spirit. They offer pizza, which we didn't try this time, but it looked and smelled incredible. Great beer, cool atmosphere, excellent service, strong community vibes, and parking that doesn't make you cry. 10/10, will absolutely be back.

By the time I left at 6:30 it was packed with a wait of ~10 people. I sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and friendly. The menu seems very diverse with a lot of delicious sounding options. The beer menu is on the back with a QR code. As it was Burger Week, I went with their Signature Burger for $7 with a side of tots. The burger was a Spicy Pimento Burger with bacon jam, pickles, and lettuce. The burger was 4oz which was a great size to fill you up but not make you overly full. The burger was not overly seasoned and didn't have a ton of flavor, however the combination of toppings really enhanced the flavor and made it delicious. The tots were perfectly crisp and the Cajun seasoning really enhanced them nicely. All 4 of the beers in the flight were tasty but not overly powerful. Of the 4, the Tart and Tempered was the best as a light sour. I would recommend a visit and look forward to trying some other menu items.
