Country Boy Brewing is location just outside the Old Distillery District. Our group ventured in to enjoy a flight of beer and (2) vodka sprites. The staff were very personable and quick to turn around drunk orders. For beer, we got the hefeweizen, new england ipa, cougar bait, and key lime cougar bait. The beers were good; favorite was the new england ipa. We loved the atmosphere of the brewery and merch offered. Prices were good.

This is one of our "must go to" places when we're in Lexington. The ambience is relaxed and fun and their beers and ciders are always great. They had so many new options from our last visit that we had to get flights. I always tend to go with the orange cream cider but everything is delicious.

We live 2 hours away, so visiting the Country Boy taproom is always a highlight of our trips to Georgetown. The food was great, the service was wonderful, and the beer is what keeps me coming back. I appreciate the business sense the upper management has displayed over the years, and I sure to enjoy the standards they impose on their brewing. Hats off to the CBB crew - if you really want a quality beer, try one of theirs!

Decent place to stop in for a beer, but I do think there are better options. The outdoor area is in the middle of a parking lot close to some loud roads. My wife was excited to try their Coconut Hefeweizen on their website but they didn't have any. We ended up with a Witness the Citrus IPA and Key Lime Cougar Bait. Good not great. Glad we checked it out while in town, but it was a one & done for us.

This place is pretty cool. Lots of brews on draught to choose from. There's so many good options I would suggest a flight so you can try several. Food was decent. We got the flatbread and both a pork and chicken nachos. It was ok but I'd probably pick something else next time.

Parking lot outside and a good truck available. We ordered a flight of 4: Hazelnut Stout - love the flavor in this, had a great hazelnut flavor and was not overpowering as a Stout Laid Back Lager - well Brewed coffee notes in this and it was light and refreshing. Easy to drink. Keeneland Fall Ale - hoppier than I imagined but more on the lighter side of an IPA. Jalapeño Smoked Porter - I liked this Porter a lot and it had a decent jalapeño taste without it having a kick. Decent brewery overall with a good amount of seating inside and out.

Awesome beer and food. Very cool vibe at this place. Close to downtown! Highly recommended if you're in Lexington!

Huge selection of beers on tap, service was friendly and quick. Very cool location, will definitely stop again next time we're in town.

Very large tap list with plenty of canned options to go, including Crowlers, and Growlers. Food is available from The Kitchen. We had 2 orders of the pretzels bites during our visit. Staff was running throughout the brewery to tend to each table, so no pint was ever empty. The open-air concept of the garage door flows to the covered patio with plenty of Beer Garden Style Tables. The views from outside are classic rolling hills you'd see through other beautiful plains in Lexington. Very calming and relaxing being tucked off the main road and for its size and capacity. I love making trips here from Louisville a couple of times a year.

I looovvee Country Boy! This is probably one of my new favorite breweries that I have experienced, just because I love their vast selection that offers so many tasty beers. I have been to a few bars in Louisville that offer Country Boy beers, which is where I first found out about the brand and loved what I tried. Ever since I found out that the brewery is located in Lexington, I made sure to make it a priority to visit! We came about an hour after it opened and we were the only ones there. It's small, but has some charm to it. The bartender was very welcoming to us and even talked with us while we sipped on our flights. The flights were $8.50 for 4 pours. I tried the Elderberry, Funkland, classic cider and passionfruit cider. loved. them. all!! Each had it's own, interesting taste that I really enjoyed. Their menu has so much to choose from, especially different styles for anyone's interest. I highly recommend this cute little brewery in Lex! Especially if you are a big cider/sour lover like me!

Omg the Shotgun Wedding and Little Black Train are AMAZING!!! Okay, now that I've said what's important, I'll tell you a little more about the place lol. (Out of towner here FYI) It's a small place, with some outside areas. They have some merchandise hanging on the wall to buy and a decent amount of tables to sit at. The bartenders were cool. We got a flight. Two of the beers are in my first statement, and then we got a key lime beer and something else. They were all good! I was amazed by how much they have on tap. Like 20 something beers maybe? For a place so small, it was awesome. I wanted to try them all! But we didn't have much time . We also meant to go back before we left town to get a growler, but we forgot so I'm super sad. Anyways, I think this place is underrated so you should definitely go and give their beer a try. I will be coming back to town just for them! Cheers!

Given they have a huuuge variety of great beer, they have just opened their kitchen in Lexington. I was glad I decided to try it on their opening night. The Bubby Burger comes in single, double, or triple deck of top quality house-ground beef smashed and then perfectly seared to a crispy crust on a fresh griddle-toasted bun. The house beer cheese tops it with the rest of the garden including optional bacon and a side of fries. The burger itself earns five-stars (and three napkins and a wetnap). It pairs with their whole symphony of craft brews and your friends in their refreshed Lexington tap room and outdoor patio layout. Not in Georgetown! You only get it in Lexington!

There's something for everyone, whether you're a "let me analyze the hops" person or a "just give me something cold and delicious" person. Everything we tried was solid, and it's clear they know what they're doing. The venue itself is super cool. Family friendly, relaxed, not pretentious, and somehow feels both lively and laid-back at the same time. The kind of place where you can hang out for one drink and accidentally stay for three. Service was great: friendly, fast, and helpful without hovering. Exactly what you want when you're trying to responsibly sample your way through a tap list. Parking is excellent. Stress-free. No parallel parking gymnastics. No circling the block questioning your life choices. Just... parking. Beautiful. They also had a pop-up event featuring local artists, which was awesome. Apparently they host things like that pretty regularly, and I love that they're supporting local small businesses. Nothing pairs better with a craft beer than community spirit. They offer pizza, which we didn't try this time, but it looked and smelled incredible. Great beer, cool atmosphere, excellent service, strong community vibes, and parking that doesn't make you cry. 10/10, will absolutely be back.

We also ordered a Gluten Free Bourbon BBQ Chicken Pizza and a Honey Garlic Chicken Pizza. The food took about 30 minutes, which was fine, since we were conducting our meeting anyway. Apparently the restaurant has decided to try out a new concept called "Fine Dining: Survivor Edition." The tables sat covered in dirty dishes long enough to qualify as permanent decor, and our food took so long I considered filing a missing persons report. When it finally arrived, it was cold. Not "could use a quick reheat" cold -- I mean "the marinara sauce had the temperature and emotional warmth of an iceberg" cold. The loaded potatoes were overcooked with about three toppings sprinkled on top like they were rationing cheese during wartime. The pizza? Floppy, bland, and somehow both soggy and dry at the same time. Truly impressive. And the chicken parmesan sandwich was just confusing. The bread was actually great, which made it even sadder that the chicken itself was dry and somehow NOT fried. A chicken parmesan sandwich without crispy chicken feels like someone forgot the assignment halfway through. The restaurant may be dog friendly, but after sniffing the leftovers we brought home, even the dogs seemed personally offended. This place used to be one of my favorites, which makes this even more disappointing. Hoping this was just an off night because right now the quality has left the building faster than our server did.
