After my most recent experience with Black Rock, I decided to try another location! Although it was 2pm on a Sunday, this location was packed...well the drive thru was anyways! This is not a location I'd visit when caffeine deprived or in a rush. However, given the amount of coffee and tea options within a mile of this spot, it's pretty impressive! There were a few hiccups- they originally quoted me the wrong order, and the drink I asked for no ice came with ice, but overall the strawberry passion green tea with dragonfruit and an Irish with oatmilk no ice were super flavorful. read more

Horrible service, I was waiting at the drive thru speaker to order and tried to call but no one answered so I went inside and all 3 workers were in the back while I waited 5 minute for service. Super friendly staff providing excellent recommendations that my kids and I definitely enjoyed. The environment is fun festive without being too loud people are able to work while listening to Soft jams in the background. They made some creation for me. That was half sweet and was delicious. Very refreshing. They have a kid size that's not listed which is about a dollar to two dollars less than the small and perfect if you're gonna get them something before having lunch or dinner. Great place to study or hang out with friends. The workers are super nice and accommodating! My favorite drink to get here is the white chocolate mocha! It is so delicious and I can never get enough. Cute little vibes. However the service wasn't so great. I observed three customers ask which drink was theirs as you can't tell the difference when all the cups are the same size and color. Then when asked the employees didn't know. ‍ Additionally one customer had to reorder because their items were not made. Recommend retraining and better service. First stop in and I'm sure I'll be in often. Everyone was super nice and the inside looked really cozy. The outdoor seating is going to get hot without some umbrellas. Especially this summer, it's been extra hot already. I like the decor and the murals that they have painted on the walls. Very cool. Very busy for the Grand opening. Atmosphere was good, service friendly and quick. Good music, a lot of people, free wifi, trying them out for the first time. Got 3 smoothies, 1 coffee, and a energy drink (forgot the name but had like red bull and something else in it). ONLY reason I'm giving 4 stars is because my Black Rock was not good. I asked for an iced one, and after about 15 mins it was still pretty warm. Then once it sort of got chilled it still did not taste that good. Thats MY opinion. I am willing to try something else and give them another chance since it was my first time there another day. And I will update my review then. Side note, my kids loved the strawberry smoothies so that was a plus. Very light, mostly tasted like water but the strawberry gave it a nice touch. NOT sugary at all for anyone wondering if they're super sweet. The energy drink... Ehhh lets just say if you REALLY need ENERGY or a sugar rush it'll do the job . This location has to be one of the most frustrating places. Regardless of what day and time I visit, they are always out of something. They have a loyalty reward program but have switched systems twice so your rewards are never reflected correctly. Their drive through order display and intercom never work. You drive up and they tell you that they are not using the intercom but taking orders at the window which causes delays and traffic in the line. The most frustrating part is that I like their drinks and they are in a great location. They just need to fix the consistent issues they've had since opening. There's way too many coffee shops nearby for them to function like this, and once the new one in elyson is built I'll avoid this location. read more

Came here on their opening day at the Katy location and it was packed because they were handing out free drinks all day. Even with the hectic crowd, I was still able to get my drinks within 5 minutes of sitting down. Super impressed. I got the Caramel Blondie blended, which is supposed to be one of their most popular drink. It tasted like the old Caramel Frappe from Starbucks before they try to cut costs. It was the perfect blend of sweet and coffee. There are other promos going on over the next 7 days for the grand opening. Can't wait to try out more drinks on their menu read more

We have been coming to the Clay Rd. Location in Katy, TX every Monday for a few months. + All of the coffee is great + The service is great and staff are helpful - They are almost always sold out of every food item on Monday mornings; not sure if this is because of switching out existing inventory or just a delivery issue, but this seems like the worst day of the week to not have breakfast items in stock. We waited inline for about 10 minutes after we ordered and we waited 5 minutes behind one car to finally be able to get to the speaker to order. 15 minutes in drive through is probably the longest I've ever had to wait for a coffee with just one other person in front of me. read more

I love this coffee bar! It's modern and spacious. The crew is friendly and helpful. Everything I've tasted there is delicious. The coffee is wonderful. The breakfast pastries are sooo good and freshly baked. But better get there early. They sell out early. The bacon egg and cheese danish and jalapeño ham croissant are my faves. We've been to one over in Conroe and it was great, ordered the same thing we normally get at this location and we had to ask them to remake it but it was still bitter and the requested milk was incorrect. Finally gave up when the started to have attitude. read more
