Black Rock is one of my favorite coffee stops, always consistent in their drinks and genuine good service without the over hype. Lots of variety in coffee and coffee less drinks. Always has seasonal drinks and makes some of my favs that are off menu now. The Blackout (hazelnut mocha), Jackhammer (vanilla mocha with extra shots) and Honey Bee Cold Brew are my favorites. This location is near where we park our RV, so it has been getting some business from us a lot. They have a drive thru and also have an indoor and outdoor seating available. We have really enjoyed stopping at this location on our way there to get our RV or Leaving with it to head to the coast. read more

I've been to this location several times and my last visit was the last we ordered our drinks after a more than normal wait with only one car ahead 15 minutes was excessive but we didn't think much about it until we took sips of our drinks they were very very watered down and bitter like the coffee was strained through a damp moldy boot sock we spent about $12 for both drinks and didn't think twice about a second sip as we dumped our drinks out of the window we will never visit this location again and wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience here thanks for reading and drive 1/2 block further to the golden arches and get a cup there you'll be happier read more

The drinks are really good but the people inside are a big no no just went through the drive through because I didn't want to get off and my baby was sleeping. They said park so I parked and I was waiting for the drinks and I never got them so after 20 min I had to get off and go get them inside, seriously people come on now do better or at least should of said I needed to get off and get the drinks. Great coffee place and much better than surrounding competitors like Dutch Bros or Starbucks (aka Tenbucks!). People here are always polite and friendly typically asking how my day is going and if I have any plans. The coffee it self is solid (not the best ever but as good or better than most). The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is their drive-through is a little awkward and sometimes cars compete to get into the entrance. I realize they probably are doing they best they can with the location but it still diminishes the experience a little. Still a great place to grab a coffee and we go regularly. read more

First visit to this specific location - I am rarely ever in FG. Very updated and nIce drive thru employees. As per usual - I got my Caramel Blondie Chiller with no whip. Fast but it wasn't the best version of my drink I've gotten but it was okay. They also offered the Feb daily specials here for $3 also. Some BR are owned by different people - so I don't want to say all are offering this but so far it's looking good. They have some nice space, and a huge round red table Inside. Always messing up our orders!! I had asked for a white chocolate mocha and it tasted like straight black coffee. Went inside and without realizing because of the inconvenience they gave me a smaller size drink also. A few days ago they gave my boyfriend black coffee instead of a caramel blondie. The blonde girl with that tattoo on the back of her arm needs the most work on her customer service skills. I have been here a couple of times and every time is such a wonderful experience. As I can't speak to the quality of the coffee, the chai tea latte is delicious. The first time I ordered it, I wasn't sure about getting a milk alternative and the person working the drive thru made me a sample size to try it out. It was absolutely delicious and I'm in love with it. All in all, everyone is so nice that it really makes up for the fact that they may be a little slow, so take that in consideration on your morning commute. read more

Well normally I would give this place a 10 star rating!! But NOW its gone to shit!!!! My husband and I have been going there since the Forest Grove coffee shop opened. We were very happy !!!! But now that Corporate has taken over, all the nice bubbly girls are leaving or gone already..... totally different story!!!!! I have been in there three times since corporate took over and the manager should not be there. I have been in customer service for over 25 years and know what customer service is. She has no personality, doesn't even smile , and is very rude. This had happened more than once!!!! I have NO idea what corporate was thinking bringing her from 185th. She was rude there also!!!!!! The reason I give them one start is cause they too slow , it takes almost 45 minutes to get to order !! They don't know some people are in hurry cause they have to back to work ! I mean come on that's why they call it a drive through so you get your service fast !! read more

I am so glad the Black rock coffee moved to town. There's a couple things I really like about this coffee shop. First the coffee is consistent, when I order something it taste the same each time I get it. Second the baristas that work at this shop are absolutely wonderful human beings. Always a small line , biggest coffee around is my favorite. My love always Wants the mexican moca yum. I'm a Carmel chocolate man ,Blondie ,or moca its all tastey. I chose to stop supporting Dutch Bro's coffee after Dutch Bros corporate decided to only allow their employees to wear BLM face masks, I do not support BLM. I started going to Black Rock a few weeks ago and it is the absolute best change. Every one of the employees at every stand are so sweet!! I can't explain how much I love this place!! I love this black rock! I have never been a regular at any coffee shop but everyone who works here opening shift Monday through Friday are amazing. I come by quite regularly and early in the morning and though I order the same thing every morning it is nice that it always taste exactly the same. Also, the opening staff does their part to get to know you and have a friendly conversation. Half the time when I walk in or come through the drive thru they even have my coffee waiting for me. read more

Ordered large iced coffee with Stevia, 1/2 n 1/2 and lite ice, received large iced coffee, no Stevia, no 1/2 n 1/2 but I did get it with extra ice. Subsequently, first visit to BR did not make a great initial impression. However, I will make another visit to determine if it was just the batista or location. read more

Don't count on being able to hear yourself think if you choose to be seated inside this place as you will be overwhelmed with unusually loud bass drop music, long lines & overworked staff. The coffee was o.k. of your willing to wait in line. Do yourself a favor and go to BJ's. read more

June 27 2019 1:30 pm I went through the drive-through at the Forest Grove Oregon Location to buy a smoothie and a $20 gift card. There were two vehicles in front of us, the truck left and that left one car in front of us. She was handed her order and the girl at the drive-through window continue to sit there and have a conversation with the car in front of us for about five minutes or longer. I asked out my window if they could please move their conversation to inside the store because I needed to get back to work. The lady at the drive-through window rolled her eyes at me and continued to have a conversation with the lady in front of us. When we pulled up she said I'm really sorry she was telling me that her husband just died. I said that is very sad however if she would like to have a conversation with you she needs to go inside the store and not do it through the drive-through. She said they were trained to be sympathetic to people in that situation which I understand but I shouldn't have to sit in the drive-through while they have their conversation. This is upsetting and I don't know if I will return to that location. read more
